I've been following the story of the Starchild Skull for a number of years now and just realised that I hadn't come across any information regarding this story here on Avalon. I ran a quick search and it didn't return any results so I'm guessing it hasn't been discussed here in the past (at least not on AV2).

So, I thought I would start a new thread...

The starchild skull is a genuine 900-year-old bone skull found in Mexico in the 1930s. The Starchild Project is an informal organization which began in 1999 when Ray and Melanie Young, the owners of the Starchild Skull, asked Lloyd Pye to head research efforts to determine what caused the unusual shape and properties of the bone.

The results uncovered by the research team ruled out all known deformities, and presented the scientific community with a genetic and physical profile never before seen on Earth.

Now new DNA findings indicate that the Starchild Skull may well be “alien”! Now all that remains is to determine whether alien means “foreign to normal human genetics within the framework of that subject as it is currently understood,” or “definitely not from planet Earth”…. or something in between.

Imagine Christopher Columbus’ first voyage. You’re one of his crew. Late evening, land finally comes into sight. He wasn’t crazy!

You see it all spread before you…Magnificent! However, on this imaginary first voyage it’s too late to drop anchor and go ashore. Shadows are falling. You’ll go exploring in the morning.

That night a huge storm rolls in, blows hard for a few days, and pushes the ships to the mid-Atlantic. Might as well continue on to Spain. But now you have a problem. You’ve seen a New World, a new reality, and your only proof will be the words of those telling the tale.

At Court, the King’s many sages know better. “This is impossible!” they bluster. “These men are conspirators! They’ve made up a ridiculous story to get money out of the royal purse! Don’t dare give it to them!”

Fantasy? Not entirely. This is precisely where we have been with the Starchild Skull for the past year. In March, 2010, we had the first returns from BLAST reports showing that some Starchild nuclear DNA fragments matched up with fragments found in the human genome. Thus, without doubt some of it was either human or…this is key…it was human-like.

Other BLASTs showed that other fragments were not found in the massive NIH database repesenting most species types living on Earth. In other words, some of the Starchild’s nuDNA was “Not found on Earth.”

For as mind-blowing as those BLASTS were, they weren’t good enough. The King’s sages, mainstream skeptics, were quick to point out that BLAST reports could be “rigged” with improper handling by people intent on cheating. Therefore, if we obtained a result they already had concluded was impossible, we obviously had to be cheaters.

Today, one year later, our geneticist has moved beyond BLAST reports. He has sequenced fragments of the Starchild’s mitochondrial DNA, which had been on record as human since a seemingly definitive DNA analysis was conducted for us by Trace Genetics in 2003.

As it happens, 2003 was a relative stone age in the fast-moving world of DNA analysis. That result was more than adequate for its time, but it has proved to be “inadequate” by new testing done very recently.

The 2011 mtDNA analysis is now the crux of a detailed report posted at www.StarchildProject.com/DNA2011March.htm. It required a dozen drafts because it had to present a high level of technical accuracy while using terminology suitable for non-experts. A writing challenge!

Do understand that this report does NOT YET present absolute, definitive proof. It is, however, highly indicative proof. It is indicative because it opens a blindingly clear path to the final results. Not the final results themselves, but a bright view of them looming on the horizon.

Unfortunately, mainstream science is still in position to insist it is not indicative, but merely suggestive. The only result that can be considered worthwhile, they will insist, is the entire genome recovered and its fullest sequencing compared against the human genome.

Technically true, but not practically true. Any geneticist who reads the report will know their interminable game of “big kids pretending” is rapidly drawing to a close. The infant’s trick of holding their hands over their eyes as shields against UFOs and aliens will no longer work.

Also understand that the heavily revised Starchild Skull Essentials eBook is now just as important to spreading the word as the new report.

The eBook is now almost unrecognizable compared to earlier versions. The first half that details the 25 major physical differences between the Starchild and a human is essentially the same, though expanded in many aspects to provide many more details.

The second half, though, had to be totally revised to accommodate the new findings from the mtDNA fragment sequencing.

In the report, one relatively small mtRNA fragment is detailed. It was chosen for ease of presentation and ease of understanding, but also only one was needed to prove our point in a winning way. You’ll see.

In the eBook, three more mtDNA fragments are detailed. RNA does not make proteins, DNA does. But all of them are in the Starchild’s mitochondrial DNA, which makes these results powerfully convincing.

Last, and perhaps most important, this “Byte of Pye” needs to be spread as far and as wide as possible. It has to put us over the top by somehow attracting the attention of potential investors, as well as members of the mainstream media elite.

If we can’t get this bombshell noticed, none of us deserve to be playing this game. We don’t deserve our jerseys. So I’m counting on all of you, everyone reading this, to chip in for the Starchild cause by spreading the word about it and bringing it to the attention of people higher up the money chain and the media chain who might help us.

To that end, as a taste of what is to come, below is the entire Summary of the new report, which leads it off. It’s presented here for those of you who aren’t sure if you want to try to tackle all of it. And understand that while the Summary is all words, the report is heavily illustrated with photos and charts to be as clear as possible.

Please don’t be intimidated by some of the early terminology in the Summary. Every technical term in the report is explained in very basic language, so anyone will come to understand every word, every term, every concept as it is presented. We’ve worked hard at leaving nobody behind, and we think we’ve succeeded.

You’ll see that all of it is written in the restrained, conservative, precise language science demands. Nonetheless, in its own smudgy way it makes every bottom line clear. I promise you will not come away from the report wondering what you just read. You will know.

SUMMARY:
Early in 2011, a geneticist attempting to recover Starchild Skull DNA identified several fragments that matched with human mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). Comparing those fragments with matching fragments from human mtDNA produced an astonishing result. In every comparison, the Starchild presented many more nucleotide differences than are normally found among humans. In one comparison detailed in this report, the compared segments of human mtDNA came from one of its most highly conserved regions. Across 160 ± nucleotides in this segment, only 1 single variation is found among the 33 human haplogroups. In contrast, the same length of Starchild mtDNA has 17 differences! Of those 17, a significant number should be confirmed by multiple repetitions of the test. If several are confirmed (which is highly likely), would it be enough to consider establishing a new Earthly species? It would certainly throw open the door to serious consideration.

One final comment about the report: it is 5,700 words long. Average readers (200 wpm) will get through it in about 30 minutes, so please have that much time available when you start.

Yes, I believe you are right!

IMO the starchild skull could be THE most important piece of evidence to date.

As far as I'm concerned it's probably one of the best pieces of HARD evidence (if not THE best) regarding the existence of ET's that is circulating around alternative/mainstream media.

So many people in the alternative science scene are focusing on UFO video/picture evidence and anecdotal testimonials form eyewitnesses and abductees (very hard to prove/easy to fake).

It amazes me that more of these people aren't focusing their attention on the starchild skull, which is/could potentially reveal HARD scientific DNA evidence leading to proof of the existence of ET humanoids here on Earth.

I have Lloyd Pye's book on the Starchild skull, done quite a bit of research into it. Very interesting and I bet that it is one piece of evidence that never could get wiped away by "Behind the scenes" organisations that control mainstream science. I am just happy to know that it is in very very capable hands, even though it will take that much longer to get a full picture into the origin, due to lack of funding. I would rather it take a bit longer by a trustworthy source to the cause than some mainstream party who is under orders to keep us all ignorant.
