Ive always liked the way Terence Mckenna explains things, it kinda feels right what he says but you dont know why , its like you have known it but he is just reminding you of it.

This interview was granted to John Hazard, shortly before Terence was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

His Final interview was in fact with Erik Davis, to which a CD can be bought of it from his website i belive. Nov 1999. Terence died in April 2000.

Thanks for the video, I've heard of McKenna here and there for a while, but never heard what he had to say. No doubt he is quite intelligent and insightful, but I was quite surprised to hear half way through he sees the future of human evolution as a merger with technology.

Yea i understand your feelings about keeping true to the humaness that we are, but in some sense its inevitable that we are going to incorperate some form of technology into our person, of course we should support the use of advanced technology to assist the disabled person to lead a more possitive life than they would have without it.

Of course as time goes bye some sort of Ai will emerge from a manufactured quantum state , ie computer, in fact some say its already here, but from what i hear its still about ten years away from public quantum computing,

But its definately going to be a very interesting next 20 years or so.

Same here. I don't buy half of his idea of human evolution. But, I have to say he had his version of understanding of nature.

About the I-Ching <- it has flaw too.

What most people make mistake, they believe in their understanding, i.e the I-Ching in his case, represents absolute truth that explains almost
everything. He simply disregards the human limitation while they ancient oriental people had to come up that fabulous methodology of time.

His number 64 is same what others consider as the truth like the scared geometry, the golden ratio, fractal, or some esoteric theory from off-world being, and so on.

We gonna be super cyborg or light beings sooner or later, which is my prediction of human evolution.
What TPTB has been planning to is to convert humans into the super cyborg.
They are really pushing hard nowadays.

A.I is interesting subject to me. I do computer programming as a hobby. Suppose an A.I that has self consciousness and creativity like humans, what kind of existence it will choose? My logical conclusion is it might work for the creators for a while - a group of humans - then, will transcend to interdimensional being or merge into advanced entity out there.

I think A.Is exists under black projects. To build an A.I we have to understand how our mind work not creating sheer computing power. Under the black projects, scientists can do without any objection nor mainstream paradigm, combined with few helps from ETs which is possible. A.I suddenly produced.

Once science and religion get to a point of agreement then much progress should be possible.
What holds up (or keeps underground) technological advancements is the voices of religious leaders, and their stance on ethics,
and also their fear of atheistic scientists.
I personally believe in the existence of the soul and a soul's need to find a vehicle in the lower dimensions in oder to experience diversity.
Once a vehicle has been designed that offers some free expression, as well as perceptive senses then souls will line up to get in there.
For some this life's journey is about discovering oneness, while for others it is about discovering individuality.
Both journeys are true paths, and whether these paths are discovered via AI or organic matter is immaterial.

One thing that i would like to know about how an AI conscious mind could be kept in the confounds of its designated parameter, now i am assuming that the AI mind will be of a quantum nature, and that being the case what would stop it from interacting with the totality of what is the known universe as that is one big quantum soup, you might as well say your giving birth to some sort of God mind.could we put the jeany back in the bottle.:scared:

Thanks for the link, I have most of the Terence vids & audio's but this is a treat and as always he is in true form. I always wonder what he would have to say about the current state of affairs. I think he was right on the 'button' with his ideas that novelty is increasing and certainly since his death this seems to be moving rapidly. Also with his idea that each family should only have one child could have been implemented years ago and in light of the 'Charles' material could avoid a major issue.

I only got stuck into McKenna within the last 12 months. I just find his demeanor to be very heartfelt and honest. You know just listening to him that he has no agenda other than information and exploring things that are not understood and trying to explain them as best he can through that experience.

Alot of people, because of his drug use do not put stock in what he says, but for mine he had one of the soundest minds going around. A true loss to the human race and our civilization, may he R.I.P among the cosmos.
