View Full Version : Michael Ruppert - We Have Until July at the Latest Before Economic Collapse Begins
ktlight
29th April 2011, 07:55
We have between now and July to get ourselves as ready as possible, to feed ourselves, to protect ourselves, to keep ourselves warm, to stay out of the way as much as possible until things settle down. I really do not think that we will be living in anything like the society we have known, the civilization we have known, by this fall.
I’m as confident with this as I have ever been. This is a serious alert. We now have a calendar, we now have a clock. Get your stuff together no later than July, and that’s assuming that anyone of a half a dozen other things doesn’t go wrong to bring it about before that. But it’s pretty clear – a caveman could see it.

I think it is always good to be prepared for disaster, predicted or not. I try not to get wrapped up in predictions because fear will destroy me before the problems ever begin. IF they ever begin. Perhaps the global meltdown will morph into a positive thing that will bring peace and prosperity of a different kind.

Birth pains but we have to prepare sensibly with out fear as said already.
People always kept a good supply of food in, everything is on instant now, cash dispensers rely on electricity as does the Super market check out.
A major sun flare would fry the electricity grid. Im more aware of that than any other way of bringing down the financial system.
I havent yet watched video as I have to download it and watch of line, which I will do, so my comments are in general.

Ruppert is right to give this warning. Add the devistation of the Southern states in America to an ever growing financial collapse... I've not felt it closer than it is right now. We should take this warning seriously and do what we can.

Yup. Will be thinking of ya, while I do the same. Won't see a harvest of fruit this season but am planting apple, pear and fig trees too. If we don't benefit directly, someone will down the line.

It's been pretty obvious for a while the economie's gonna collapse, it has to, all that's holding it up is digital money that's not worth the paper it's not printed on, the only question is when. It's like what I tell people who give the polite patient smile, the stock market is going to keep on going up like gangbusters, until the day it collapses like a house of cards, which it is.
Anyway, I'm prepared.
Cheers,

Ruppert's analysis is one of the best I've ever heard. It's simple, basic economics that a child can understand, unlike the double-speak coming from Bernanke and Geithner. The Japanese crisis is a global health crisis (massive, unrestrained release of radioactivity), but the media is in denial. It's also a global economic crisis (supply chain disruption), but the media is in denial. And the media is silent or deceptive because it is just following orders. Which of these two crises will be the most destructive is debatable, but both are deadly serious. They ride the coattails of the collapse of the dollar, the world reserve currency, due to the unrestrained growth of the money supply that always precedes the death of a fiat currency, combined with a mountain of debt that is too big to ever repay. Because of the collapsing money game, the oil that is the lifeblood of the economic world is becoming too dear to obtain, so we have an unhealthy junkie-of-a-world with a failing heart about to go cold-turkey to boot. It's the perfect storm, and a criminally constructed one.
As a life-long gardener, I can assure you that you will not be able to grow anywhere near enough food to sustain yourselves through the dark days that are coming. Of course you must try, as must I, but it is simply not realistic, based on my decades of gardening experience.
We have been deluded and fooled by the ruling sociopaths for over 100 years as they constructed the trap designed to ensnare us. The trap has been sprung and we are caught. Now we will see what the trapper has in mind for his prey.

I don't think there's a lot that we can do to be honest except to just go with the flow. If we stockpile food, it couldn't be enough to keep us going indefinitely and the starving masses would be looting left right and centre and any stockpiles would just be taken. Besides, could you in all honesty let other people starve while you have food? And it must be said that the masses are still unaware so I don't know what the answer is, but my mind body and soul are alert and aware and I'm hoping that a solution FOR ALL will manifest before we get to that stage. If not, it's going to be every man for himself ..............

This information is dead on. (no pun intended)
My last husband was a senior vice president for Morgan Stanley
And I own (in process of selling) 50% in a major financial advising business.
This type of information/truth was paramount in me making my final decision in completely stepping out of the “rat race” and become “self-sustaining”.
AND financial or the state of the global economy was only ONE of the reasons I have stepped out of the ILLUSION.
Eight years ago I made the step to buy a farm and reacquaint myself with homesteading and learn how to apply new technology and this farm is now almost totally self-sustaining. I’m now selling this farm (is anyone interested??) and making my next step of moving back home to the Appalachian Mountains. This place offers even more with how I’m “being called”.
I cannot impress strong enough how difficult things are going to be. This is not fear mongering . . . . . this is in your face gut wrenching truth. Either you choose to be swept along in “their plan” or you simply say “ENOUGH”
Even if you say “Well I have no money so what the h_ _ _, this can’t effect me.”
You have time
Start communicating here and other forums to find a community or form one yourself.
Just have that option in wings . . . ready to go for WHEN the time comes . . . . if you are not quite ready to make that final step . . . . HAVE THE OPTION

Another point I would like to make and I say this with a quite a bit of anger . . . . .
To those of you who think “preparing” is giving into fear mongering, vibrating at a low frequency, useless or somehow believe the aliens are going to shower “manna” down around us.
Instead of fighting another mother with children for the last can of beans on the grocery store shelf . . . . . I will be feeding that mother and her children with my “stored beans”, baking cornbread from my “stored corn”, slathering on fresh butter from my cow and offering honey from my bees.
If you won’t prepare for yourselves then prepare for your fellow human.

I enjoy my life immensly and especially since I made the decision to step out of the illusion (rat race) and into reality
life in the now.
I live my life in the now with a positive, loving attitude along with a well prepared look to the future and with a hard look into the past so I may learn from my mistakes and illusions
don,t promote fearmongering.(its not good)for your spiritual self.
I’m promoting preparedness and informed truth and reality, love for humanity and Gaia. Which is very good for my spitrual self . . . largely because I’m not concentrating on MYSELF
what will be will be.
Que’ Sera Sera
When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.
When I was young, I fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead
Will we have rainbows, day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.
Now I have children of my own
They ask their mother, what will I be
Will I be handsome, will I be rich
I tell them tenderly.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.
Notice, my friend, the lyrics from this song (you quote often in your posts) does not address things we can know or have control over.
What I’m “promoting” are things we at least have an informed idea will happen . . . if not in July then within the next ten years at the most. Or at the least . . . . a much more healthy, self-reliant and responsible way to live. When things go to pot or fall apart I will be able to TAKE CARE OF MYSELF and family and community. I will be able to be responsible for myself and take responsibility for those around me, I will be and am proactive
I will not be relying on someone else and taking from them or this asinine idea that the government will come to my rescue.
What better way to love, to act with compassion, to spread good will and positive energy.
My home will be that

Some can. There is a rather well known family in Los Angeles living on 1/5th of an acre. They even have some chickens and small goats, all within the city limits. Not only do they grow enough to feed all of them but they sell produce to upscale restaurants and share/sell/trade with neighbors.
They spend very little money on anything, shopping for clothing and other things at second-hand stores and tag sales.
They are fairly well prepared in terms of food, but could easily be cleaned out overnight by hungry neighbors and their garden ruined for further use.
Then thereʻs the water issue. LA is an arid area with water coming from far away and pumped with electricity.
Itʻs certainly a dilemma.
On the whole planet the people who will most easily survive will be those in developing countries where they labor in farm fields and sailboats without benefit of petroleum and the machinery run by it. Those "backwards" countries.

I gave up on the idea of doing anything 'clever' because I reckon when things get very bad there will be gangs sneaking around at night stealing anything I have out in the open, like a garden full of food.
We don't "DO" guns here but it's going to be that sort of a situation, I guess.

Didn't one of our members say we were going to see ships within the week only a few weeks ago?
I am so fed up with it that the words F - Off ! literally fall out of my mouth any time i see a video like this and thats without even watching it.
This is not a rant at the op btw just at this situation. Crying wolf even with good intent.
Come on and kill us all already or don't, either way stop telling us to prepare blah blah...BLAH! kin, blah
What are we supposed to do, store enough food and water for the next 40 years?

For those so worried about people raiding they're food stocks etc. Might be better to go into the middle of nowhere for a while and keep an eye on thing. Can also garden out there. If you dont know anything about it then read up on it or find someone willing to teach you, which would be my case. I would rather be in the middle of nowhere but sadly dont know much about gardening. :/ Learn to go 'little house on the prairie' style. The ones that would be pulling out guns.... well, enjoy is all I'll say.. Seen the video of the family in cali. I loved it but dont think doing that in a city would be a good thing but dont know.
Think what I would be more worried about is our Mother earth. She seems to also be very active and seems to be preparing for something big. I've had a feeling for a very long time something big was going to happen. Now all the changes and the raping humans have done to her, I now think she is getting ready to force changes since most humans wont.
I dont think I'm that awake but awake enough to see something is coming and in less than 2yrs. I'm a wanderer do to the fact I dont like staying in one place for long if I can help it and do to I dont fit in with most ppl cause of views, etc.. Them being asleep and dont want to hear it. that whole deal. This is my view on why I say I'm a wanderer. maybe I'm wrong.
Anyways, in closing. I dont think staying in a city is the greatest idea when stuff hits the fan. Can always go back if nothing happens or thing calm down. weather it's riots, police/military actions. Tho police/military stuff would cause me to stay away.

Yes, I've read about them -- rather remarkable people. Los Angeles has a much more temperate climate than where I am in Colorado. Without irrigation, my state is a semi-arid desert. The growing season is short, and the winters are long. It's against the law here to have chickens and/or goats unless you are zoned for it. Heck, you can't even park your own car in your own driveway on your own property here unless you have a current yearly registration sticker on your license plates! I speak from experience. For the 5 million people living in Colorado, I'm pretty sure most won't be able to produce the food they need to survive. I hope I'm wrong.

Whatever we each individually decide to do is our own decision. But, don't forget to stock up & prepare for your spirit quickly with love, compassion, happiness, a positive attitude, and a direct relationship with the Creator and ......well all those big things that really matter for us eternal beings.
You'll need that no matter if devastation or abundance crashes down on you here.
Oh, and do not forget to take some drastic action while you prepare and Intend a bright future for all of humanity now as in today or how about by July! LOL!

I do understand you. Almost every month for the past few years have we have had predictions of the collapse coming and yet it has not yet arrived. No doubt some disasters have been averted and others were just hot air. It is very easy to get ground down by it all, a confused mind always says no. After you have re energized yourself from your visit to the kitchen, ponder on this; as a race we seem to be sensing something coming, what exactly is up for debate, but that doesn't negate the feeling. I myself have come to trust my own intuition, even when the details of the solution seem vague. The end is not nigh, it is well passed due. Keep positive, we need you.. N

In aus, you can pickup some land with bore water or a dam for 50,000 - 100,000. But it's just that - the land. And it is out in whoop whoop.
Idealy - if you're family and close friends are aware of what's going on, and want to make preperations to make the ride alot easier (keep in mind - ontop of everything going up in price - we're about to get a carbon tax)
Buy the land, spend a bit of money to setup a big greenhouse, make a chook pen, buy 2 head of cattle and maybe a goat. Also buy a tent or something to keep out there while you start off, if its far enough out in whoop whoop - make you're own shelter ^ ^ - or get a trailer or something and keep it on the property. 1 person stays there full time and tends to the place, can swap with others etc as well if they want, while the others if they like can stay where they are and keep working etc if its not crap conditions yet.
After you're setup you supply the food. Everyone else should ahve their heads screwd on straight enough to not buy useless crap that will rack up carbon points or waste money. Pool together you're credit/debit cards and car pool - with the petrol buying being distributed evenly among the cards. If you get enough solar panels you can power you're own home no problems. The main problem is - over here they're pushing solar panels but steering you right away from any batteries. So if SHTF you'd only be able to power you're home during the day. That should also cut down on carbon points and the power bill. They switched the tarrifs (peak and offpeak times) around here in QLD about a year ago now. Power bills went from $300 every 3 mths to $650.
If the economy/society deteoriates enough everyone just moves to the block of land out whoop whoop. Taking with stuff and solar panels and by then you should have better accomodation setup and ready and a flourishing garden, and maybe more animal companions than when you started the venture.
Its not something you have to panic about. Just prepare. But burying you're head in the sand and continuing on like nothing has changed, i feel would be a big mistake. Everyone can feel something is not right, and the feeling's gradualy getting more urgent. That's you trying to give yourself a nudge, to pull yourself back so you can observe the entire situation with the world, then come to a conclusion on how this will effect you and you're standard of living. from there, what happens is up to you.

duncan is right get a bug out bag, stay away from populated areas and big cities. chaos will insue. the ones who hit japan with that weather weapon have started a ripple the world will soon feel in every aspect of life. I see us with a new global problem everyday, worse than the day before. Then the power grid goes down, and a programmed bio weapon is released, and the fema camps fill under the cover of bio weapon scan/treatment. Then the ET's show up now a new fake enemy, people are united for the first time in a long time. In comes the new one world ( the revival of the roman empire ) government/religion/army/banker roman system to help in the battle against the invading ET's , now the hidden technology comes out in the open to fight the ET's people don't question the years of coverup they just want to save the planet from the ET's I hope I'm wrong.

The current financial system is long overdue for a collapse. The only thing keeping this zombie alive for the past decades is smoke and mirrors, also alchemy.
The collapse of the Japanse kanban supply chains has an impact on the global supply lines, especially on the big interconnected corporations. This will have a financial effect for sure. In what way this will be communicated to MSM, and what therefore the reaction of stocks and futures is, is difficult to say. They might use alchemy to hide all from plain sight (creative book keeping, lets create a 4th of 5th shadow book), or they might "blow the whistle" causing a big sell of in speculative instruments, and a crash of DOW and all the other stock exchanges in the world. The hot money (aka 90% of total speculative capital at a panic) will run to hard assets. These hard assets have allready seen a sharp rise in price because of scared money, money printing and a feeling of doom. Currently secretly shared by all the big boys in the know*.
I don't know if they want to control this joke of a financial system for much longer, don't think they can*.

Some good things though:
We don't need the current centralised financial system and THEIR debt based fake munnies
We don't need corporations
And we sure are better of without Wall Street and Government parasites
A good thing to stock up on food and seeds, and be able to survive without a system anyways.
Do not know if the EQ and its global financial and supply chain effect will "crash the system" because I am not sure if they lost control of it. If they were in control at all. I do not think it is in their interest to crash the system, because they will lose control over us, and they are much too scared of what happens then. Ordo ab Chao is nice and all, but does not work the way they think.
So who knows, I am excited anyways.

Yes, we are allready seeing escalating food prices, and in a total financial collapse (when and if this happens?) expect food, water, electricity and oil unaffordable for a large percentage of us. The main concerns will be water, food and shelter. Depending on where you live, you need to take different preparations. If you live in a rural area with lots of cattle, fields with fruit and vegetables, there will allways be food, if your communities sticks together. So get to know your community, stick together and be all right.
[worst case scenario]
Urban areas will become unlivable when the import of food and electricity stops, so it would be smart to leave cities before the zombies wake up. Don't know if this will happen, but it is smart to plan just in case. Study survival websites on how to live of the land, and when you feel you need to leave the city (signs: half empty supermarkets, no public officials, faulty electricity) grab a big bag of rice, cotton and oil (oil lamps, batteries is a good bet too, same as toilet paper and other hygiene products) to trade and leave the city. In case you were wrong, you had a great hike and can return to the city, in case you were right, you live another day.
[/worst case scenario]
I do not know if this financial system is going to collapse soon, nobody knows, but I agree with a lot of points of Mike, just don't see total armageddon. Maybe a new more honest decentralised barter system, or maybe they will keep giving this dead corpse of a financial system a few more shocks. Go Bernank Go!
The new financial system TPTW want to create is a joke and will never see the daylight. But lets keep those fools dreaming of their distopia.
