View Full Version : Early retirement or not?

Hi dear Avalonians..

recent events, threads and posts by members & moderators have me very confused about remaining on the Avalon forum..

I feel i have much to contribute but am experiencing a "writer's block" something that actually never happens to me... i am in conflict with my own integrity due to all of this...

I see valued members leaving or being asked to leave... followed by a multitude of posts on both avalon and other forums... and most of them read like a glossy gossip magazine.... pointing fingers, judging motives and attacking opposite points of view is not something we should be doing at this time.....

People wishing to apply forgiveness are being stopped in their tracks...
just a thought: Forgiveness does not mean waiting for the other to forgive... it starts with you, whoever you are..

and now a request has been made to remove negative posts from another forum...

please...
if you know what you are doing is right, then you will not be affected by any negative comments by anyone.. you leave them be... knowing that you are on the right path.. a desire to control other people's actions and words, to me, is a sign that you have not enough faith in what you are doing and that you need confirmation from others.. in the meanwhile reacting to those that don't agree.... it seems like an awful waste of time, energy and space...

all this "quality control" is wearing me down... i feel restricted and am keeping my mouth shut on topics that would actually benefit from my input...

I would like to move beyond this but do not know how.. i am at a loss for words..
so instead of making an emotional decision to leave, i ask you, my fellow avalonians, including Bill and the Moderators, if you would wish me to stay and keep sharing my insights here... i will stay if asked by enough people...

To clarify, this post is to determine my worth here and if it is indeed prudent to remain an active member on Avalon..

I wish to stay, but then i would have to feel comfortable that i can share any and every perspective i might have on any topic... with the utmost respect to my fellow avalonians of course! I will, however, stop sugar coating stuff.. I will be more direct and confronting..
again with the utmost respect....

I know who I am and what my purpose is...
will you allow me to share my being to the fullest? hogs, warts and everything?
if so.. please let me know and i will start sharing on a level that i have never done before in an online situation... this will not be exclusive to avalon...

I will be sharing my knowledge anyway on youtube, nexus and other platforms..
my question is: do you wish for me to do that on Avalon as well?
Your answers will determine whether or not i will remain...

I love you...

I wish for you to stay Jendayi. On the other hand, I feel as though Bill has already addressed this issue following the incident that involved Celine and Richard leaving. But again I don't know the specifics, so I'll leave it at that.

Thank you transitionalman!
i am addressing this issue from my own perspective.. this is how I feel.... this has nothing to do with what happened between bill, richard and celine.. it's none of my business..
it is my own integrity that i am in conflict with.. i wish this to be resolved and am hoping some feedback by you guys might help clarify my being here...
thanks again for your post!

I think there is enough wisdom in you, to be shared on ALL forums. Please dont restrict yourself by leaving one of your many platforms. Many people here look forward to your posts. I dont always agree with you, and I have fear of some of the people you associate with but I respect your opinion and read all your posts. Both at here and the "other place". I can see the razor's edge you are forced to walk, trying hard not to alienate either side. I wish you luck with this. It's an impossible job. I am lucky in that this will never be a problem for me. I'm just not that popular.
Considering all these challenges Jendayi, I think you are one of the few people that can balance yourself in this way. We have no relationship and have never communicated so I hope this message has impact on you. You know who you are and you know that we need you. WE know that we need you.

Your energy and posts I have seen have been quite positive and you express yourself very well.

Cannot speak for anyone else ... but I cannot imagine why anyone would wish you to leave. The exodus of valued members subtracts from the community.

Being "direct and confronting" with "utmost respect" should be the goal and standard of every forum member.

Jendayi, Please forgive me if this sounds harsh. I dont mean to. If you have writer's block, dont post until you do. Please keep your membership. This is nuts, everybody leaving voluntarily. It's unnecessary. Believe it or not, until the recent exodus, I hadn't even gone to the "other " website, feeling unwelcome. How are we supposed to understand and share ideas if you restrict yourself. Some of us will come here never hearing or considering going to another site. Some people wont have time. Perhaps in a week or two, someone will ask a question that you know the answer to. What if you are the only one with the answer? Would you condemn some future stranger to never knowing because of a runaway rift that needs to stop? Don't you think both sides have suffered enough? They are still running the "cancelled thread and we are wishing more members farewell by the minute. I believe Richard to be a fair minded person and I cant any evidence that you are helping him by leaving.

Dear jendayi and all,

I am a new member to this forum, although I have been a guest from time to time. I am not up to speed with the events surrounding Celine or Richard, or any other member for that fact leaving Avalon but there seems to be a trend happening.

None of us are working from outside non-duality, we still have issues we are dealing with, we still react from past experiences. IMO, it is important that people can express themselves without the fear of being censored and/or being taken in a negative light. If it is done from the heart and with respect for others there shouldn't be a problem.

I completely agree with what your saying here Jendayi;

to all people reading this , avalonians, nexians and guests alike, i would like to share one thing atm:
Anything and everything that is not experienced personally is nothing more than "Hear Say"
be careful with forming an opinion of something you have not experienced directly.... to believe something that is said by another (even with the greatest conviction) does not mean it is TRUTH... same goes for what i have to say..

We are the mirror for each other and we should be empowering one another to be the best we can be. Sometimes a word or phrase that is spoken or written has the power to connect to something deep inside of us, which in turn will allow us to change. So in essence if we are not speaking from the heart and are censoring ourselves this may lead to the spark and the magic disappearing.

Jendayi, only you can make the decision to stay or leave but know that your essence would be missed if you were to move on.

It seems to me there are a lot more members here on this forum, then there are contributors. Could anyone enlighten me to why they think this is?

Then there's plenty of other forums who would happily tailor to your needs in a free speech environment where ranters run wild and everyone lives happily ever after!

Hi there Jendayi
This place is like a busy underground train. If you're planning on going any distance, best try and move away from the door, maybe find a seat and relax for a few stops.
With regard to writer's block, no one has quotas to fill, again just relax. No one expects you put in an appearance every day. I often have writer's block but the rest of the time I write a great deal. It would only become a problem if the whole process of which it is just a part were to grind to a complete halt. Like your train journey, it is a series of stops and starts, but you'll get there in the end.
So yes, please hang around.

a) you are venting in a thread for the wrong guy, he has never done this and
b) do you think you added or subtracted from the effort?

As for Jendayinugget, you know the answer, you did before you posted the thread, but I too use this technique, so I will play along.
If you have a block, go take a break, do something in the real world that you love, come back in a week or however long it needs.
I doubt that you will get caught up in the ''forum wars'' as some would call it, I haven't seen you exhibit that type of behaviour, other than try to put the flames out.

I agree post away, say your bit. Who told you all this about censorship, its all rubbish Pegasus. I cant think of any reason why you would be censored. Pornography Yes most defiantly, but other than that post away…

Two point here. First it needs to be understood that Bill and Project Avalon have a worldwide following and so many members join and are perhaps not active all the time for a multitude of reasons.

Secondly, it just feels that members aren’t contributing while we Europeans are active.

Remember they are all over the world so just now Europe is dominating, the Aussies are asleep, Americans are waking up, and so as the day moves on with us in Europe by this afternoon the Americans and Canadians will be on the forum, followed by the Aussies later tonight and if you come on early in the morning the Aussies are still here before leaving around midday CET.

I think it is in our best interests to keep as many bright people here as possible. I am and will remain a member at nexus, and Avalon(PTB [t]here willing). It's a shame this divide has happened.

I highly value Avalon. It hurts a bit to see this going on. I can only hope that events that have happened will not happen in the future again. I also hope I'm not mind controlled too horribly and get retired on either forum!!! Scuffle aside they are both high quality forums with high quality people sharing thoughts on them.

Please stay! Thanks for not quickly throwing in the towel on this forum. We've already lost enough good members :|

Good morning, Jendayi,

Writers' block is an interesting concept. I think sometimes we are silenced from within or above (our Higher Self) when our words are not what is needed, or perhaps when we can shine our light more efficiently in silence. It may not be what others want or expect from us, but if it is true to our calling then we must always let those external pressures fall away and remain steadfast until we find our voice again.

If you've even been on a silent retreat you know the benefits of remaining still for a space. I'm reminded of the easter vigil services from my childhood...there are those actors moving and speaking, playing out the passion play, and then there is the congregation gathered silently, each holding a solitary candle, each giving light. All contribute.

In the end, its your call of course. I'm more and more coming to believe that there are no wrong answers, only different ones. Still working on that one though. :)

"Jendayi" is the ancient Egyptian word for "Thankful", and if i am anything at this time it definitely is THANKFUL!
In current times, jendayi is often used as a girl's name in some african countries, i have chosen this name as a tribute to my inner woman and our mother continent Africa.
I'm so glad to be back!

And, as i can now speak from experience, it helps to share what is bothering you before making a decision based on it... so if any of you still needs to get something of their chests, please try to do it in an inquisitive and interactive way.. an open yourself up to other people's perspectives... I will need some time... not a lot.. 1 or 2 days at the most..
Norman mentioning the "Ground crew" really struck a chord and he is right, dammit!
So to stop sugar coating... we all need to start taking full and unconditional responsibility for our actions, thoughts and words, both online and offline.
stop beating around the bush and confront our own inner blockades.. we speak of love and light... i am so fed up with that.. it can be interpreted in so many ways... by so many different people..
We need to start owning up to our weaknesses.. i know i do.. we are the creators of all of this.. we have the power to mold it any way we wish and we are doing so 24/7.. on behalf of others most of the time,, giving away our powers of synchronizing matter, time and space into a shared experience we can all benefit from..
how many more "news", both mainstream and alternative, do we need people? aren't we over saturated by all of this by now?
should we not start choosing what it is we are focusing our power of intent on?
We are so unbelievably powerful, yet we still need others to tell us.. but here's the catch... many of us do not compliment each other so we hardly get to hear from others how wonderful we are.. we sometimes even have to beg for it... simply because we can't just accept it by ourselves.... now that's twisted...

We need to stop taking in all this drama, news, (dis)info, channeling, seminars, lectures and presentations.. we need to get down in to the nitty gritty of our own B.S., our own skeletons in the closet and our own pain... we are so distracted.. don't fool yourselves.. when is the last time you spoke to anyone about your deepest fears, your wildest fantasies or your most profound thoughts? when was the last you made yourself really vulnerable? Shields are up all the time because of chemtrails, electrosmog, distorted thought patterns, haarp and other mind control tech.
the funny thing is that we are only subjected to all of that by adding an emotional response while observing any info regarding these mechanisms of control and distortion.
when we simply observe and remain neutral about it it loses it's impact and will eventually decline and disappear.. it's that simple..
an if you are not able to do that.. then just simply stop observing the subject matter and expose yourself to something more wholesome and loving...

Well.. that's it for now.. i believe a have caused enough waves for now...
woohoo!!! thank you all!!!

None of this about a happy internet social life with arrays of forums to suit every quirk of every individual.

The idea of the groundcrew was about something bigger than all of us having to be faced together in strength.

Since the beginning of this year I've seen that strength depreciate drastically and I'm quite upset about it.
so let's start doing something about it!!!
who's with me? :)

You have the floor ...

You not only have the floor ... but our undivided attention ... and whatever time you need to fashion your vision of what is needed for us to move forward.

That is positive ... appreciated ... and a damn good reason why so many of us answered "the call" for your voice to remain :)

Glad to see the mood has shifted! Happy you are staying. Please keep posting - we always need more bright spontaneous posters. I sometimes think so long and hard about what I am going to write that the moment passes or someone beats me to it and I don't like to post just for the sake of it. It really has been a bumpy few months and sometimes I have wanted to jump into the fray but other than me spewing out some venom it would have done no-one any good and now we are moving on. I am now going over to the new thread you have started ....

Hi Jendayi,

I can understand your frustrations on the forum. There has been recently a shift in the way things work around here with a more authoritarian stance taken by some of the mods - could be because they are being a little too keen at what they're doing, I'm sure it's a temporary phase. Also the decision by some to ask people to leave the forum because theypost negative things on other forums is ridiculous and is more childish than some of the negative posts. It's for the direction of this place to show that the negative posts are not justified.

I think who complains the most on here is me and I'm still here (must be the toothache syndrome where we know it will hurt but we still prod the bad tooth!). If you feel that you have something to offer, then it's a good thing to stick around even if it means taking a step back and cooling off a little.

The important thing is that what you are saying is totally truthfull. If others can't see it, well that's not your problem. You are not obliged to convince them and they are not obliged to agree with everything you say.

I would take a week or so off, as I have done several times, and come back with batteries fully charged for the next 'round'.

If you see others leaving, that is either because they were asked to, I don't know why, on Kerry's blog there are huge threads dissing Bill and Inelia, but Kerry is not banned from Avalon, or because they are frustrated at the change that has happened here. It begs to be said that now it's more of a guru - disciple sort of vibe that is developing. Personally I find it interesting to watch and pan out. As I've said many times in the past, "Let's sit back, wait and see".

Best regards,

Steve

Jendayi,

Please forgive me if I am reiterating what has already been said, I tend to skim threads.

I like you. We haven't ever talked or discussed anything at length, but I see myself in you - in your consistency, your integrity, and your decorum. In you I see a quality that parallels the best in me.

Wherever you should choose to be shall be the right place for you, and you shall be of benefit wherever you should find yourself.

Avalon has/is lost/losing many significant members. That in turn creates a void, which does/will need to be filled.

I too find myself having less to say in recent days. Many of the things I would say are said by others, and still other things seem as they would fall on deaf ears.

Do not concern yourself with what you are not saying. Make count everything that you do say.

But then,... you always have. ^_^

there it is, you stay, too many "you stay" requests.

Out of fun, a crazy idea, maybe we should all, i mean all, subscribe to both forums. They would then have merged through the desire of the members. Knowing this is most probably impossible to achieve.;)
It certainly would solve your writer's block.

I'm leaving early and hope to salvage my money before Federal Reserve devalues it any further. Besides, spiritual pursuits is much more rewarding than working for a living.

firstly, i am truly glad you are going to stay Jendayi. i agree that you have much much to offer... i've been reading your new thread and it is awesome. thank you!

" It seems to me there are a lot more members here on this forum, then there are contributors. Could anyone enlighten me to why they think this is? " PegasusRising

HONESTLY, and personally, i felt intimidated to post when i first joined avalon (first forum ever for me). i still do to a lesser degree. there are many intelligent many highly evolved people here. and there are some amazing writers here as well. so IMO i think members who do not post a lot could just be a little scared to do so. i could be totally wrong, but this is from my experience. the whole " how many posts you have made, how many thanks you get, and how many thanks you give..." the whole "keeping score" mentality is sorta scary. what it brings out in me is: "am i good enough?, is this good enough to post?, do i sound stupid? etc.... really petty, ego based thoughts. human none-the-less.

i am a member here and nexus. i was sorta scared to join but i really wanted to keep up with japan and they had a wealth of information over there. then people over there were being banned for all "those" reasons and i felt like omg am i going to be banned for joining nexus?? being totally rookie on forums, the whole thing was just strange and reminiscent of high school. sorry, that's just what it felt like to me. i do not think it should matter if one is on both forums and i am hoping to be proved correct on this.

for the meantime, these are my honest thoughts and i wanted to share. to be a part of. we are not separate. we are one. all part of the whole. so happy to be here and glad to be feeling more comfortable posting...

Kindness to yourself and to others comes from a desire to support your own highest good and the highest good of others. When your highest priority is to support the highest good of all, you are naturally kind. You don't even have to think about it. It flows easily when your deepest desire is to be a loving, caring person.
