Called variously a visionary, crank or brilliant alternative historian, Toronto researcher/writer Michael Bradley has been working on a DNA theory to explain history and our current dilemma for over 20yrs. He feels vindicated (and receives practically no death threats anymore) by a May 6th article in Science Magazine.
Here's an exerpt from his very long-to-read-and-absorb website,

"...Okay, boys and girls, Ladies and Gentlemen, we come down to it. Believe it or not, I don't like being right about this distribution of Neanderthal DNA.
And now that this distribution has finally been proven, I like the implications even less because I know the meaning of them perhaps better than anyone on this planet (see Esau's Empire 1, and 2-4).
Basically, about seventy percent of the present crisis on this planet can be fairly attributed to the machinations of Neanderthal-Semitic elements of the human population against the Cro-Magnon majority of the human population..."
Proposing that there are two human-type 'species' on the planet, the explanation does tie in with Sitchin's work (Annunaki-spawned aggressive race originating in the Caucasus mountains), reconciles many peoples' past life memories of an immigrant dark priesthood that focussed on the misuse of science and led to the destruction of Atlantis, and pulls together at least a workable framework for understanding what seems to most of us as insane behaviour by those in power.
BTW This DNA theory is one of two areas of focus for Bradley. The other is the Grail Knights of North America, which he feels he can now return to as his DNA work is now proven scientifically. (That's how I ran across him)
