View Full Version : Prince Charles, you are a hypocrite

loveandgratitude
4th May 2011, 08:53
After the delights of last week’s royal wedding, back to the day job for Prince Charles, who will be arriving in Washington in the coming days to a full-frontal assault from some of America’s noisiest climate change sceptics.

Phelim McAleer, an Irish-born film-maker, who lives in Los Angeles, specialises in short polemics poking fun at bossy celebrities who preach green living while travelling in private jets and limousines (previous targets include James Cameron and Robert Redford). Now he’s turning his artistic howitzers upon the heir to our throne.

His film “Prince Charles, hypocrite” was released on YouTube earlier today. It highlights some of the inconsistencies involved in a very wealthy royal, who lives in several palaces, demanding that his subjects “live with less.” Watch it above, or on YouTube here.

Whatever you think of either McAleer’s clips (there’s an air of “gotcha” journalism about them), or the assault on science inherent in climate-change scepticism, it’s always fun to see the rich, famous, and mollycoddled ruling class being brought down a peg or two. So for that, we give thanks.

Jackovesk - Hilarious. Good to see old Jones having a laugh and smile. Great impersonation I thought. He has comedy in his blood. Hopefully the Queen does not enjoy and nourish a bit of comedy or he is done for.

loveandgratitude, absolutely right. Great video.
He is the perfect example of a hypocrite, no dought about it.
Super rich and he has the gall to preach to the masses about cutting back.
Charles Philip Arthur George- The prince is named after 4 former kings.
That, along with all his castles just might give him a big head.
jackovesk, great video, very funny. I didn,t know alex had it in him.

Chuck should pack his bags and take his lizard arse home. He needs to be reminded that they lost in the 1775-1783 divorce.

In fact, they didn't.
The American colonists lost.
You may have ''won'' the military war, but you lost the economic one.
The united states corporation was brought into existence with the signing of the articles of confederation and by the time of the constitution, it was already $20 million in debt.
That debt has never been paid off.
Have a guess who one of the main creditors is?

And it's far more difficult to detect the covert rule by the British that was established with the Revolution and the Corporation of the United States of America.

Overt rule lasts only so long before there are protests in the streets, but covert rule can last forever if it is fully concealed.

Excellent post nugget.

Reminds me of the saying that the Nazi's lost the war, but they won the peace.

Layer upon layer upon layer.

We the public are made privy to only the bottom layer, unaware that there is so much more to the cake.

The Reich lost the round, but the war is still going.
Why do you think the ''allies'' still occupy Germany and control it's institutions?
Same with Japan.

Ah I'm not opposed to the principle of monarchy, but the devil's in the detail (or should that be the devil's on the throne?)

Didn't the U.S. pay off the National Debt under Andrew Jackson after he got rid of the 2nd National Bank? Unfortunately it went back into debt and re-instituted a central bank again later on. The part about Jackson and the central bank starts at 1:05:20:

As far as I am aware, the debt has never been paid and can't be paid.

[QUOTE=Alien Ramone;211558][QUOTE=Lord Sidious;211107]As far as I am aware, the debt has never been paid and can't be paid.

The debt can't be paid off while there is a central bank that receives interest from all money that is created. The central bank was ended under Jackson, and the debt was then paid off.

Here is a quote from 1:13:57 into the video:
"On January 8, 1835, Jackson paid off the final installment on the national debt, which had been necessitated by allowing the banks to issue currency for government bonds rather than simply issuing treasury notes without such debt. He was the only President to ever pay off the debt."

I do agree with the point you were making though about British influence on the American banking system and government.

Alien, great video man, fantastic information.
I think i knew most of the informaton already.
But, I,ve never seen it all together like that before , and done in such a proffessional manner.
It,s hard for me to hold all that information at once in this aging brain of mine.
I,m not sure what to do about the federal reserve and these insidious "money changers".
But I,m afraid i can,t say that the good guys will win over evil. Not this time. This is pure greed.

It is possible that it was paid, I have seen other info that says it wasn't.
But you are correct as to why it can't be paid off.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/theroyalfamily/8494171/Prince-Charles-tells-America-to-cut-down-on-steaks-...-for-the-sake-of-the-world.html

"In a speech in Washington, the Prince said that the need for vast amounts of irrigation in industrialised food production was threatening to deplete reserves of the "magical substance we have taken for granted for so long".

"For every pound of beef produced in the industrial system, it takes two thousand gallons of water," he told the Future of Food conference at Georgetown University.

"That is a lot of water and there is plenty of evidence that the Earth cannot keep up with the demand."

Americans eat more than 41kg of beef a year on average, according to the UN, almost twice that consumed by Britons and four times the international average.

The Prince called for an overhaul of food production, championing organic and sustainable techniques, and also criticised the US for allowing the destruction of vast regions of its rural land.

"Here in the United States I am told one acre is lost to development every minute of every day, which means that since 1982 an area the size of Indiana has been built over," he told the 700–strong audience. "Again, in the US, soil is being washed away 10 times faster than the Earth can replenish it."

Five days after the marriage of Prince William, the Prince said his address made "a change from making embarrassing speeches about my eldest son". "

I wonder what was on the menu at the wedding?

Funny you should mention United States Corporation, Lord Insidious. According to 28USC 3002, it states that the US is a federal corporation since 1861...called US, Inc...

I've decided that I'm an AMERICAN citizen, not a US citizen.... ;-) (which may not be for very long. We may be speaking Chinese in the future....)

Thanks for your info

You are welcome to the info.
However, I would suggest you find the REAL meaning of citizen, if you are going to use that term.
