None of the current earth facing sunspots are capable of producing strong solar flares at this time. A few small new regions did form on Wednesday, but are not yet numbered by NOAA.

thanks for posting that. That looks like a good, rational, place to check out on a regular basis to see what is really going on with the sun. These other articles all over the web about the sun destroying us all are freaking me out!!
