The following are 31 interesting questions about some of the major events happening in our world right now....

#1 CNN is reporting that the clearest death picture of Osama Bin Laden "is so gruesome and mangled" that authorities believe it is not appropriate for the public. But the truth is that Hollywood movies show much worse every single day. What possible justification could there possibly be for not showing us all the video and all the pictures that they say that they have?

#2 The U.S. government claims that it buried Osama Bin Laden at sea because it wanted to observe "Islamic law". Well, it turns out that Islamic law actually requires burial in the ground if at all possible. So why was there such a rush to dump Osama Bin Laden into the ocean?

#3 The combined debt of the major GSEs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Sallie Mae) has increased from 3.2 trillion in 2008 to 6.4 trillion in 2011. How in the world is the U.S. government going to be able to afford to guarantee all of that debt on top of everything else?

#4 The U.S. government has been well over 14 trillion dollars in debt for quite a bit of time now. Considering the fact that the U.S. budget deficit is projected to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5 trillion dollars this year, how in the world is it possible that the debt ceiling of 14.29 trillion dollars will not be reached until August 2 of this year as U.S. Treasury Timothy Geithner is now claiming?

#5 Why did silver suddenly start dropping like a rock just when it was about to hit 50 dollars an ounce?

#6 Why is the Federal Reserve giving member banks an interest rate that is eight times higher than the market rate on deposits that member banks leave with the Federal Reserve?

#7 Why has Barney Frank introduced legislation that would remove the presidents of the regional Federal Reserve banks from the Federal Open Market Committee?

#8 If Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa is saying that the economic outlook for Japan is "very severe", then why is almost everyone in the western media continuing to tell us that the Japanese economy is going to be just fine?

#9 Should we be concerned when the mainstream media tells us that there could be shortages of new cars and car parts this summer?

#10Should we be concerned that the amount of corn that has been planted so far this year is way, way behind the amount of corn that had been planted last year at this time?

#11 Why have the financial markets been forced to cancel dozens of "erroneous trades" lately? How are we supposed to have faith in the financial markets when we see this kind of nonsense going on?

#12 Why is the percentage of millionaires in Congress more than 50 times higher than the percentage of millionaires in the general population?

#13 Why is one public school in Chicago banning kids from bringing lunches to school and forcing them to eat whatever the school cafeteria serves?

#14 Should we be alarmed that three Christians were recently arrested for reading the Bible in public outside of a DMV in California?

#15 According to Gallup, 41 percent of Americans believed that the economy was "getting better" at this time last year. Today, that number is at just 27 percent. Are Americans losing faith in the U.S. economy?

#16 Why is the mainstream media talking so little about the crisis at Fukushima when massive amounts of radiation are still being released from the site on a daily basis?

#17 Why is Social Security phasing out paper checks and beginning to require everyone to receive their benefits by direct deposit?

#18 Why is the FDA using our tax dollars to take an Amish farmer to federal court over the sale of raw milk?

#19 Is the U.S. housing crisis getting even worse? During the first three months of this year, less new homes were sold in the U.S. than in any three month period ever recorded, and the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller 20-city home price index has fallen for seven months in a row.

#20 Is it any wonder that most of our young adults cannot write decently when 50% of all U.S. college students have never taken a class during which they had to write more than 20 pages?

#21 Why does the U.S. continue to allow China to pump massive quantities of their products into our economy when they continue to deny their own citizens even the most basic of human rights?

#22 According to the IMF, China will pass the United States and will become the largest economy in the world in 2016. So when are average Americans going to start getting upset about the millions of jobs that we are losing to nations such as China due to outsourcing and offshoring?

#23 Why are so many of our once great manufacturing cities being transformed into hellholes? In the city of Detroit today, there are over 33,000 abandoned houses, 70 schools are being permanently closed down, the mayor wants to bulldoze one-fourth of the city and you can literally buy a house for one dollar in the worst areas.

#24 Why are we seeing so many restaurant brawls and so many random acts of violence lately?

#25 Shouldn't we be concerned that the area along our border with Mexico is now one of the most dangerous places on earth?

#26 What does it say about America when the murder rate in Flint, Michigan is worse than the murder rate in Baghdad?

#27 What does it say about America when a poll finds that 70 percent of Americans believe that the country is going in the wrong direction?

#28 Is a major global food crisis coming? The World Bank says that 44 million people around the world have already been pushed into extreme poverty since last June because of rising food prices. So what is going to happen if we have another year of global crop failures?

#29 Why are sales of "doomsday bunkers" suddenly soaring?

#30 Why has the U.S. government created 257 "foreign trade zones" inside the United States?

#31 Why did riot police in Illinois use tear gas, LRAD sound weapons and crowd suppression tactics against a bunch of college students that were just blowing off some steam at a year-end block party at Western Illinois University? Are brutal "G20 crowd control tactics" going to be used in every small town in America now?

ktlight, this a vast amount of information. thank you so much for posting it into one thread.... when you can see the damages all in one place, the better the retention of it all. i am just amazed at how far down the toilet we have gone in one year. i cannot foresee the grotesque images for us all a year from now. it is truly boggling my mind. i see this thread sticking around for a long while. i'm sure that some answers will be coming our way, along with more of the grotesque anomalies.

Unless the American public really wakes up (and Canada soon too - we are in a better position than the US but we're losing ground fast), then there is little hope to avoid a major catastrophe. For me, the "American dream ended" shortly after 9/11 -- I quickly realized the state of the situation and remember thinking "this is not good at all ...". Since then it seems most of the passed legislation has been to the detriment of America - all due to 9/11 - an event they (their "elite") tiggered on their own people. When it comes to that, all hope is pretty much already lost.

That said, I have seem mass "awakenings" in groups of people where the energy of a few individuals begins to spread like wildfire and nothing can stop it so time may not be an issue ... The question is ... can the American public muster enough love, care and discernment needed to start this process...I think so, but they are going to need a few good pushes IMHO...;-)

I've not been able to get a job in over a year now. I had an interview last week at a value village where I asked how many people were also applying; a lot was the answer given.

Luckily I've got family in town so things aren't bad for me by any means.

I'm now just going to take it upon myself to start making longboards. Probably not a very lucrative business but something at least.

From a very personal perspective, honestly - I observe the general judgments being made by the populace, the absolute lack of thought behind most of the actions. The fact that 90% of the businesses want to see a bachelors to answer phones for $10/hr. The absolutely rigid views of those claiming academic understanding. I'd be lying to say that part of me doesn't want to see this entire country torn apart just to wake people up or put them to sleep for good.

And part of me wonders if I'm creating all of it.

I guess we'll see what happens.

Nightmare or dream, it is only our perspective, but one way or another, I do hope we can wake up from it... N

noprophet i agree. there is so much micro-management going on. i'm working in retail now, after working for a lawyer for about 18 years. when he 'retired' i found myself out of work. imagine the culture shock i ran into. there is really nothing for jobs in the area that i live in except retail and food service. both are b.s. in my opinion. and the upper echelon keeps pulling the reigns even tighter by reducing the hours allowed to work per week and per day, plus making the workload almost unbearable to deal with. i don't see anything changing for the public's well being anytime in the near future. but this is what it has come down too. i hate my job, but, i can't afford not to keep it. i can tell you that they're not many lawyers who can really afford a legal secretary with as many years into it as i have. so i'm stuck, unless i can re-locate to a larger city. and i'm not willing to do that at the moment. i just don't know how too wake up the masses quickly enough. i try everyday, but, fear is holding the majority back.

There's a con-game going on. That's why asking questions is discouraged. Selling raw milk is also discouraged (see #18). If you don't want to be hauled into court by the feds, you had better stop asking questions. There is no Constitution, and there is no freedom of speech. Capiche?

Dear Noprophet,

Hang in cause your longboards may be just what your supposed to be doing:) Your creativity is still alive and your heart (i hear you) and that is what will carry you and the rest of us through this tough time.

The ''American dream'' was an illusion.
One contrived to make you all into consumers.
It worked.
It is no longer needed, the majority are now conditioned to act as consumers.
Guess what?
There is an ''Aussie dream'' too.
Funny about that, no?

How to stop being a Gullible Mind

Interestingly, most of the people who are intelligent, skeptical thinkers today used to be Gullible Mind people at one time or another. There was a point where they simply "awakened" and began to consciously question the world around them.

Intelligent, informed skeptics are the people asking questions like:

• Why do twenty different mainstream news sources all report the exact same news, using the exact same words, on the exact same day? (http://www.naturalnews.com/032022_m...) If they were all investigating and writing their own news, wouldn't their news be different?

• Why did Wall Street get a multi-trillion-dollar bailout from Washington while the American people are still required to pay taxes that involve sending money to Washington? If Washington can just magically create a trillion dollars overnight, why do we pay taxes, then?

• Why does the USDA now actively conspire with GMO seed companies to keep approving genetically modified seeds even without any scientific evidence of their long-term safety?

• If mercury is one of the most toxic substances known to modern science, why is it still being deliberately placed into the mouths of children in the form of "silver" fillings? And why are they called "silver" when they actually contain more mercury than silver?

• Where does the fluoride used to fluoridate the public water supplies really come from? (http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=42652...) And if fluoride is so good for people, then why is it so hazardous to handle, and why is it considered a hazardous chemical by the EPA?

• What really happened on 9/11? How did WTC 7 collapse if it was never hit by any airplanes? Why did they sweep away the rubble before a proper forensic analysis could be performed?

• Are vaccines really safe? Where's the study comparing vaccinated children with non-vaccinated children? Why won't the vaccine industry allow such studies to be conducted?

• Why does the cancer industry seem a lot more interested in treating cancer and recruiting cancer patients than actually curing cancer and ending the epidemic? Why does the industry refuse to talk about cancer-causing chemicals or the anti-cancer effects of vitamin D?

• Why are toxic food additives still allowed in the food supply? What's the real story on aspartame and the FDA? Why did the FDA oppress stevia for so many decades?

• Why is the medical police state now using guns to force parents to medicate their children? In what kind of medical system is it necessary to use the threat of violence to force compliance?

• Why did Clinton bomb the Sudan in the middle of the Monica Lewinsky crisis? Why did Obama suddenly announce the death of Bin Laden in the middle of his "birther" crisis?

• Why do we still have the DEA's "War on Drugs," especially since there is ample evidence that the war is a total failure that only increases the prison population while actually enriching the drug gangs with higher street prices?

• Why is the TSA still reaching down our pants at the airports if Bin Laden is now dead? Wasn't he the whole reason we created the TSA and hired on those 60,000 security agents in the first place? (http://www.naturalnews.com/032267_B...)

An intelligent, skeptical thinker would ask these questions (and many more) as a natural course of basic human curiosity. But a Gullible Mind, attacks the questioner for even daring to ask such questions.

Who are some of the awakened people?
That's why the Gullible Mind is more than merely gullible: It is a cowardly mind. It is afraid to ask questions on its own, and it simultaneously attacks those who have the courage to stand up and actually ask those questions (like Jesse Ventura).

Most members of the conventional press are, of course, cowardly minds. They almost universally buy the corporate spin (or the White House spin) and never ask any tough questions anymore. Some of the REAL heroes -- the people who are asking intelligent questions about our world -- include:

Alex Jones
Jeff Rense
Charlotte Gerson
Jonathan Landsman
David Icke
Jesse Ventura
Gerald Celente
Ron Paul
Robert Scott Bell
Dr. Andrew Wakefield
Suzanne Somers
Dr. James Forsythe
George Noorey

Do you see a pattern here? Each one of these individuals has been marginalized or viciously attacked and slandered simply because they chose to ask intelligent questions about the world around them. Now, I don't agree with every single thing said by each one of these people, but I admire each of them for having the courage to ask the questions that need to be asked if we are to move forward as a society (and civilization).

These kind of people represent the complete opposite of The Gullible Mind. They are, instead, the "true skeptics" of the world. The reason they are viciously attacked is because our world is so steeped in deceit and conspiracy that only Gullible Minds are tolerated. Those who question the status quo are not merely annoying to the powers that be, but actually dangerous because the most dangerous activity in which you can engage today is helping others awaken to what's really happening around them.

It is that "awakening" that is so utterly despised by the web of corporations, governments and media lackeys that they will do everything in their power to prevent any sort of awakening from taking place at all. The functioning of the Matrix, after all, depends on people believing in the illusion.

And it is so much easier to govern, of course, if people just believe whatever you tell them. Gullible Minds make great voters and willing slaves. But lousy company. Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/032293_gullible_minds.html#ixzz1LZEFAvXU
