Like already two months after it was reported that Bin Laden was death, i read an interview somewhere. Some reporters interviewed some kids living in the neighbourhood to tell them what went on. And the kids told them, that the helicopter with the navy seals in it, exploded. But it wasn't clear if that was with landing or take off.
This also explains the facial expressions of all the people around the table, at the time they 'caught' Bin Laden.
