Op-Ed: Hasidic newspaper erases Hillary Clinton from White House photo
By Bart B. Van Bockstaele.

A Jewish newspaper erased Hillary Clinton and another woman from a widespread picture showing White House staff watching the Osama Bin Laden raid. Women are never displayed in the pages of Der Tzitung.
The picture of the people in White House "Situation Room" watching the real time happenings of the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden has quickly spread around the world and one probably has to live the life of a star-nosed mole not to have seen it:

My thoughts exactly! To trust ANY photo as actual in this day and age is something I cannot do - unless of corse I or a close friend took the shot, and published it - otherwise it cannot be trusted to be in fact the real McCoy. Smoke and mirrors~

I had a look at the article and it says (among other things, like, they put the picture because it was a slow news day)

"He said readers of the Yiddish-language paper used to see photos of rabbis with their wives
and that there was then a time when the women were blurred. Now, they're just not there."

Maybe the women of this Jewish sect know something about ascencion we here at Avalon haven't discovered yet....

Notice how it is the woman that is "gasping for breath and clutching her pearls" in this image - that says a lot about what is being conveyed here. In real life I doubt Hillary is that weak in her emotions to actually act like that - what a scam this is - every person has the perfect facial expression to enhance the mind control this photo is designed to accomplish. Look closely at each individual and see just how perfectly each one is placed and portrayed - the more I look at it the more contrived it becomes to me. A picture is worth a thousand words (which is why it is being so used) but I have only two to describe it :bs:

A little nit picking comment of mine: I wonder if the story and history would be the same if half of those present in the picture were women. Not only are there about no women, but the little there is are erased by some(even if I think this is all photoshop as per Horizons bs comments.). Nobody ever notice how women are absent from the power structure, this is so ingrained, nobody notices. And when present, the few women are intrinsically worst than men (Clinton and Rice as an example). What a price we are all paying!

I just wrote another post on another thread, so i am sensitive to separativeness issue right now

From Flash on the The sensitivity of language and people when describing race-related issues thread

You know, separativeness is everywhere, and half humanity has deeply suffered from it for milleniums, over and above all the colonisations, wars, and destruction every single people (race or group) had inflicted on this planet (think Gengis Khan, think the Japanese in China, think the Russian in Georgia, think the Kmer Rouge in Cambodia, think Kenya, think Yougoslavia, think the Aztecs with other tribes around all killed or assimilated). The white man does not have the monopoly on racism and destruction. The full half of humanity that were litterally ostracised and pushed down for milleniums are women. So while we are at it, are we going to reproach it to white men again?

I am a woman, I come from a subgroup ethnically because of the language and culture, I have been segregated as a woman (the glass ceiling in corporations is very thick), as a French Canadian (sorry for my fellow Canadian, but you are tough when we are in your provinces), as a white while living in Mexico (and around some blacks in Montreal), and as an American while in Turkey, and as a Catholic in Southern US. The worst being the women stuff (not the race), it still leaves me speechless sometimes. And now age discrimination is around the corner.

To me, all that is separativeness - I usually come through it even if disagreable and I understand where it is from. And yes, our language carries it, verbally and through pictures it makes in our brains.

I propose the following: when we see this separativeness thinking here on Avalon, we gently remind our fellow Avalonians how difficult it is for some and how destructive this programmation is. Why not helping each other see the light. AND LETS GET RID OF THE VICTIM ARCHETYPE PLEASE. We are all equal, all one.

If a guy comes across as a phony I will say so, and I have. When I believe a woman is a total phony I will say so too. I say what I personally believe. I know you were not referring to me but I can see why women feel like they are being separated out and criticized.

You are right in observing that someone did point out that it was women that were being targeted. I don't know why they would have been erased from the photo. Maybe someone can clarify that.

For phony people, men or women, you are right, we can say so. I just wish I could say it more often about women in power, if there were more of them.

Why women have been erased in the picture? Based on thousands of years of history, I could say this: because we are in paternalistic societies and that for some, women should not have any power period. this should be all male power. If you mix with in the culture and some extra conservatism religiousness (religion having been managed by males, even celibate males were better than females in catholicism), women must be eradicated from public view.

For some, women are devils corrupting men, for others the hair have to be hidden not to distract men, for others their body has to serve only for giving birth (old catholics where I am from), for others.... the story is very very long as well as the excuses. This is still the victim archetype playing with the peter pans one (not taking responsibilities for ones own actions).

I think that men, and humanity, will recover its power when women will have their rightful place. And I do love men, what a tragedy!

She is A Very Interesting "indivdual" with not too much info about her work around.

I will copy and paste whats on her on Wiki because it is under consideration for deletion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audrey_Tomason

Audrey Tomason is the current Director for Counterterrorism for the National Security Council.[1] She was among a small group of people in the White House on May 2, 2011 who monitored updates of Operation Neptune Spear that led to the death of Osama bin Laden. She appears in a photograph taken in the White House Situation Room during the operation.

She graduated from Tufts University in 1999[2] participating in the "Tufts Institute for Global Leadership"[3][4] and regularly donates to the "Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences and Engineering."[5][6] She then went on to get a master's degree, 2003, in public policy program from the The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

She worked as Americorps*VISTA and Associate at ACCION International after Tufts.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/05/05/article-1383959-0BE77AA700000578-835_306x423.jpg

She is now so famous she has her own Wikipedia page.

But there is scant information on the woman who has been identified by the White House as Audrey F. Tomason, 'Director for Counterterrorism'.

Ms Tomason was one of the elite handful of people important enough to watch the death of Osama bin Laden in real time, yards away from the President of the United States and the most important people in the White House.

When the photo - which has become an unusual talking point of the whole operation - was released, all 13 people were name checked, except the woman peeking her head out from the back of the room.

But there is fleetingly little published information about who she is or what she does for the administration.

Her presence is not just notable because she is an - until now - unknown, but also because, aside from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, she is the only other woman pictured in the testosterone-filled room.

She also seems to be the only person under 40 as some Internet rumours put her at 34 years old although has also yet to be confirmed along with any of the other tit bits of information that are known.

Ms Tomason's proximity to the president, who is flanked by his closest advisers, have also set tongues wagging about how she is able to command such a position.

When the Daily Beast asked the White House press office about Tomason, an official said she worked with the National Security Council, a White House agency closely involved with the intelligence that led to bin Laden.

The official intimated that the White House generally doesn't discuss personnel at any of the government's covert or intelligence agencies. Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for the NSC, confirmed she worked with the agency.

When asked why she had never been identified or mentioned before, Mr Vietor responded: 'Well, we've never killed bin Laden before.'

Since the now-iconic situation room photo appeared, the internet is awash with rumours, ideas and trace details about who she really is.

One corner of the Internet said she went to Tufts University and earned her masters at Harvard's Kennedy School, both of which have not yet responded to inquiries.

There is no trace of her on any social networking site.

Her Wikipedia entry describes her as: 'Audrey F. Tomason is the current Director for Counterterrorism in the Executive Office of the President. She was among a small group of people who monitored updates from the White House on May 2, 2011 regarding Operation Geronimo, which led to the death of Osama bin Laden.

'Not to be confused with Michael Leiter, the Director of the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center.'

Michael Barrett, a national security expert and principal at strategy firm Diligent Innovations, suggests that the photograph outed a sensitive national security employee.

He said: 'You can make a reasonable deduction that she's a member of the intelligence community. Is that a story [the White House] wants to put out there in public? The fact that we can see her face could potentially jeopardize her career.'

An internet blogger called Thus Blogged Anderson attributes Ms Tomason as the woman who was referred to in a story about a counterterrorism analyst who kept the German citizen Khalid al-Masri locked up for weeks because she had 'a gut feeling he was bad'.

The woman, who they referred to as Frances on request of the CIA because her first name was 'too unusual', was reported on this year as someone who 'regularly briefs Panetta'.

The article by the Associated Press said this about Frances, who Thus Blogged Anderson believes is Ms Tomason: 'At the Counterterrorism Center, some had doubts that el-Masri was a terrorist, current and former U.S. officials said. But Frances, a counterterrorism analyst with no field experience, pushed ahead.

'She supported el-Masri's rendition — in which the CIA snatches someone and takes him to another country.'

The article continued: 'Even before the el-Masri case, station chiefs had complained to top CIA officials raising concerns about Frances' operational judgment.

'But she was one of the few analysts who had a deep knowledge of al-Qaida before 9/11, working in a former unit known as Alec Station created to track down Osama bin Laden.

'In the nascent war on terrorism, Frances and her team were essential and had racked up successes.

'Frances now runs the CIA's Global Jihad unit, the counterterrorism squad dedicated to hunting down al-Qaida worldwide. She regularly briefs Panetta, making her an influential voice in Obama's intelligence circle.'

Since seeing that David Icke article a lot more has become clear ...not only about the initial photo being fake

Was the CIA director aiming to embarrass the White House by releasing that news right after the White House had released the photograoh of the situation room?
All this makes the little Tzitung incident look more like an act of compassion when put in perspective...
