Nice video, it has been said that in meditation if one hears the bell sound coming from the bell then one is just beginning the path, but if one actually hear the bell sound coming from within then that one is almost there in realization. The self lives inside of us. Intellect is not enough, one has to go through the experience.

Actually religions are neither right nor wrong, they are just tools, they are out of date, and rusty to the core. No amount of outside polishing could cure them.

Religions are like the trainer wheels you had on your bike to develop your riding skill.
And like them, you put them away after they become redundant.

That's a great analogy, yet the path of religion could be seen as a great hindrance too becoming a skilful rider. As many priests are no more enlightened than you or me.

This is a great reply to Omnivers's thread:Timelines, what are your views? A focus: Inelia's claim of timelines....
Thank you, nomasguy, although I disagree with the term "idiot" because it's violent.

words can distract and we fight over definitions. Try and not let it get you, What he means is the parts that we use IE our nervous system and such are not contemplating anything. These parts we have don't do that, so in a sense they are dumb or ignorant or idiot parts. Without consciousness we are dumb. etc
I have found another interpretation from Dattatreya Siva Baba or Dr. Baskaran Pillai, the perspective he is presenting is equally bashing in one way and is described as your normal thinking mind is the gross-mind and this is where as he states our ego comes out from and other "gross" thoughts or "selfish" if you like. I think they also do this to cause you to be ego-emotionally effected. So the effect will be very poyniant and that this helps them speak to larger audience that will not be able to avoid their point.
the basis as I see it is that only your consciousness can present reality to your soul and we manifest it and thus this the ability to discern rests within the heart. All of your other functions do not have this ability. ref - http://www.youtube.com/user/DattatreyaSivaBaba

Thank you nomadguy for the advice, I appreciate it. I will try not to be distracted by language.
Cheers
