Hi all,

I found this video quite interesting so thought I'd post it.

Here is what to key in on:

1. Pay attention to the roughness of the middle of the moon from the top to the bottom. The sun projecting light at the moon should never produce a rough edge along the middle.
2. Now look at that rough edge. Notice the roughness is caused by each area sticking out into the black part of the moon is actually contouring craters at the edge of the lighted part of the moon.

Folks... this cannot be explained by anything more than what looks like a computer generated graphic displayed in the sky.

To much contrast will produce this same effect. The camera itself has software that constantly tries to adjust the brightness and contrast levels for the optimum picture quality. Added to that the same effect can be achieved in a video editing program without much effort.
