Sevilla 111 Gigapixels is a huge panoramic and interactive photograph of Seville city, which consists of 111 thousand million pixels. A new worldwide record since December 2010.

Browsing the biggest photograph in the world from home and observe inch by inch La Giralda's belfry, La Torre del Oro's merlons, the details of the Cathedral's walls, and more than one thousand little details and corners of Seville is now possible thanks to the cutting-edge capture technologies and Internet, which allow us to immerse ourselves in this huge panoramic image and explore virtually all the places in the city, by scrolling and zooming in/out throughout it.

Hope you enjoy !

p.s. Did you see the black thing in the sky near the church ?

Very cool indeed. The black thing - If you mean the cathedral to left of centre (a city like Sevilla is full of churches), it's a bird, there are others nearby.

I doubt they would have left any UFO in the picture, even the car registration plates are faded out. Also very cheeky of them... there is a 'pit' to the right, zoom in to the left hand crane, at the top there is a bill board - it's interactive.

I'd love to see more cities in this fashion (minus advertising though, oh well we all need to make a living).

I have never seen anything like this online before. The rendering is amazing! For example google maps is painfully slow on satteline view, this just issn't.

IMO, since the 1980's, satellite technology has been able to read the date off a dime.

I see several things in the sky. They have shape and substance, and reflect light. One is a triangle. They are too big to be birds.
