This is just weird. Would an earthquake that big register by accident?

Apparently it showed up here as well: Maryland Geological Survey Helicorder Records and http://www.infp.ro/ which I imagine is Italian.

Thanks dan! Yes, we need to stay vigilant now, we are in the thick of it.

Do you think this was a bomb detonation? I can't imagine why something this big would register all over the world and then be deleted!

related to this maybe???

Libya: Nato strikes hit eight Gaddafi warships in ports.

"In a statement, a spokesman said Nato had to take "decisive action" given Col Gaddafi's increasing use of naval assets to launch attacks on civilians.

Flames and smoke could be seen rising from vessels hit in the capital's port.

Meanwhile, the Libyan rebel leadership has appealed for international help for towns in the mountains west of Tripoli."

It must of been Turkey as all the aftershocks are as follows. Strange mix up though.
We would of had lots of reporters reporting the big one in Libya. The whole world is kind of watching that place at the moment.

consider this scenario:

The US decides to use HAARP as a weapon (assuming it can do this) and uses it to causes an 8.4 EQ in Libya and that EQ triggers the other smaller EQs in the area. They wipe it off of the EQ maps asap because they do not want international help coming to Libya.

Or:

It happened naturally and for same reason they do not want international help there so they erase it from the records asap.

Are we not "at war" there? Wouldn't international help get in the way of that continuing?

And from on the ground there, it might be difficult to discern whether there was an EQ or a huge bomb, right?

edit.
Director INFP, Marmureanu indicates that it was a mistake from Strasbourg, where the data came from.

http://www.dcnews.ro/?p=66271

Romanian-English online translation

Shock Thursday at the site of the National Institute for Physics of the Earth, which came news that a devastating earthquake had occurred off the coast of Libya, of 8.4 on the Richter scale.

The site appeared INFP information magnitutidnea an earthquake measuring 8.4 on the Richter scale could be produced on the coast of Libya. An error in Strasbourg, a device connected INFP, says head of the institution, Marmureanu.

In fact it is a mistake. "The earthquake was 5.2 on the Richter scale hit north of Libya, entered the Marmara, in Algeria, arrived in Morocco and then came out into the Atlantic Ocean. I do not think that was felt in Italy. The error is great. Yes this error occurs, but not ours comes from Strasbourg, machine broke down there, "he told realitatea.net Director INFP, Marmureanu.

That would fly IF it was only the INFP that registered the EQ. It registered all over the world and was removed by most of them asap. Still smells severely fishy to me.

Yet another report on this, http://vanshardware.com/2011/05/the-case-of-the-missing-8-4-libyan-earthquake/

"Oddly, this earthquake does not appear on the USGS website or any other earthquake reporting site.

Interestingly, the largest nuclear device ever detonated, the 50 megaton Soviet-made Tsar Bomba, would have been capable of producing almost exactly an 8.4 earthquake on the Richter Scale if it had been detonated deep underground.

Is this earthquake being censored? If so, was it a subterranean detonation in a remote desert location to safely demonstrate Libya’s nuclear capabilities to its Western attackers? The West would certainly want to contain that information to prevent widespread panic since a 50 megaton nuke could utterly wipe out an entire metropolis.

Was the earthquake the result of a NATO attack? Or was the earthquake a real, natural event or simply a strange glitch on a pair of seismic instruments?"

Excellent questions.

Are we actually at war now?

Wow. Seems you are on to something, astrid. That explanation seems very plausible, indeed. A little too coincky-dinky for me.

I am feeling very sorry for the poor people of Libya, sending loving energy their way. They are caught in the cross-fire it seems.

But why would they censor it? Hmm.

Well, they seem to censor things they want everyone to notice. A show of power.
Of sorts, anyway. Petty tyrants are great at that. If you are looking into petty tyrants, or dealing with them first hand, Don Juan Matus in the words of Castaneda has some great teachings.

Quick censor it!

Oh good, all those paying attention will please rise and give it energy and focus...

As to the agenda behind it all, probably all the same as all the recent machinations. Control forces know the gig is up, and is trying to convince everyone they're still in control. They're not. Keep going with the real work. Waking up.

Thanks to those for finding this and pointing it out, keeps us all awake in class even when the lessons topics are all the same ol' same ol'. We're just getting better at remembering them... :)
