FYI:

Are you one of the many who, in the effort to be eco-friendly and to save money, replaced your old incandescent light bulbs with environmentally-friendly compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) energy saving light bulbs? If so, beware. A new study conducted by conducted by Peter Braun at Berlin Germany's Alab Laboratory found these light bulbs contain poisonous carcinogens that could cause cancer. These include:

Phenol, a mildly acidic toxic white crystalline solid, obtained from coal tar and used in chemical manufacture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phenol).

Naphthalene, a volatile white crystalline compound, produced by the distillation of coal tar, used in mothballs and as a raw material for chemical manufacture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naphth...).

Styrene, an unsaturated liquid hydrocarbon, obtained as a petroleum byproduct(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Styrene).

The German scientists involved caution to keep these light bulbs "as far away as possible from the human environment." If used, they advise that you use the bulbs sparingly, in areas with good ventilation, and "definitely not in the proximity of the head," as the bulbs generate electrical smog, impacting human health.

The new German study supports similarly disturbing findings of Abraham Haim, a professor of biology at Haifa University in Israel, who found that the light emitted by CFLs increased the likelihood of women getting breast cancer by disrupting the body's production of the hormone melatonin.

What a dilemma for Americans. Following a 2007 bill signed into law by President George W. Bush, the US government will ban the sale of 100 watt traditional incandescent light bulbs and replace them with toxic CFLs by January 1, 2012, followed by the 75-watt version in Jan. 2013, and the 60- and 40-watt bulbs in Jan. 2014. This will follow on the heels of the Europeans who began to phase out incandescent bulbs in 2009 and by 2016 the EU also plans to ban halogen bulbs, forcing people to use compact fluorescents.

morning kt., this is another nail in the coffin of humanity. the question in my mind at the moment is: why bother with all the soft kill technology? if they want to depopulate the globe, they should go straight in for the hard kill. it keeps going back to $$$$$$. and, like i said on another thread, we know that the ptw do not need our money, but why do they continue to take it from us by creating the cause and affect syndrome? there is a piece of the puzzle missing here and all of us need too look closer.
thanks again for another great thread.

I work in a cinema and part of my job is to replace lightbulbs, of which there are hundreds! We use different types of bulbs throughout the building, and those that are part of the secondary system (ie they are constantly on day and night, even during power-cuts) are all CFLs. Also, due to the type of fitting these CFLs have, they ALWAYS break when they have burnt-out and are removed.

I would advise you, WP, to find a way to protect yourself from contamination.

Thanks ktlight. I do my best to leave the burnt-out bulbs and endure the "...but it's Health & Safety" rant, and if I don't change them someone else will anyway. We have a 'green' board in the staff area, which is a complete joke as the company doesn't even recycle. I'm going to stick this article on there and see how long it stays up!

Another example of governments forcing us to use something that's bad for us. Oh but it will save us money. Yeah, our lives will be shorter - that will save us money too.

CFLs contain about 5 grams of mercury - bad news for our health if they leak or break.
CFLs emit very high amounts of electromagnetic radiation - more bad news for our health.
CFLs cause "dirty electricity" - more bad news. What is "dirty electricity"? The first video explains it simply. More on this in my next post.

the cathode ray tube fluorescent's used in department stores and the old Tv's and computer monitors that use cathode ray tubes are bad for your health. If you want to quickly and easily lower your risk of cancer, get rid of these things. natural light mitigates there effects somewhat.

Over the last year we have bought hundreds of incandescent bulbs of various wattages. we have enough light bulbs to last through our childrens lives. What's next, the authorities bursting down my door because they detected the wrong kind of light coming from my windows?

The alternative is to buy Light Emmiting Diodes (LED's) which save energy but are expensive at this time, or stock up like conk.

I thought I had posted this advice yesterday, but couldn't find it here today.

I think you should know that mercury clings to the thyroid and pineal glands and you take steps to remove it. Also, I think the cinema owner should be informed of the dangers, the consequences of which may not arise immediately. You can research this on the Web.

I've been meaning to do a heavy metal detox for a while. I took a heavy metal test a few weeks ago, and I have a low concentration, which isn't too bad, but I do wonder how much rubbish there is around my pineal. Forunately I have no dental fillings to worry about! I was going to give these Zeolite things a try, does anyone know if they are any good? Whilst we're on the topic, is there any way to decalcify the pineal? I don't use a flouride toothpaste, but I do drink a lot of fruit juice which I've heard can have flouride in it (I only drink the 'not from concentrate' stuff, don't know if that makes a difference?). I get it from a supermarket so it's bound to have some kind of crap in it anyway!

I have heard that Zeolite is good because it cages/traps heavy metals in the body.
If you check out Hulda Clark and/or Bob Beck and zappers, you will probably get information as to exactly what to do.
Blessings.
