Although I don't use it myself, I do know of a few people that use it regularly for various aspects of their chronic health conditions, and have found great benefit from it, not as a cure, but for symptom relief.

I use the original TFT (Thought Field Therapy) created by Dr Roger Callahan in conjunction with hypnotherapy, and it can sometimes have instantaneous results. People can just loose the intense emotions they were struggling with such as hurt/anxiety/anger/guilt/trauma/grief etc. - or the feelings can really diminish. It can help with addictions/pain relief/poor sleep/performance etc. as well. The TFT people in the US have done a lot of work with trauma victims across the world. I was skeptical until a very down-to-earth therapist urged me to try it as he was doing so well with it, and I then trained with Dr C - jaw dropping results sometimes - and sometimes a more gentle improvement.

I have used EFT for about 2 years and find it very useful for clearing about everything. If one is interested in clearing the emotional debris from one's life this is a fabulous tool when applied correctly. I have experienced permanent changes with EFT. It is well worth checking out IMHO.
