Some of the counters (including apparently the "Views" counter) and parts of the search index are -not- updated in real time, but rather by daemons that run around in the background. Wait a bit, and you should see the counter increase as you had expected.

You are correct in your view. Unless you can consciously influence your timeline (which is possible), your best off just practicing Infinite Patience, Instant Forgiveness, and Unconditional Love -- that is all we need to do raise our frequencies. Raise them enough collectively and a Jump to the next, what I call "octave" (a full level of vibrational creation), is even possible. My 2 cents. ;)

There was a US president long ago that once said "The greatest conspiracy is one so unbelievable, no one would ever believe it." Why put Flash in the same bracket as requiring a Graphic designer? They are quite different. I am guessing you need a flash designer to make the banner for your site. JQuery will suffice also.

Silverlight is going to explode next year and of course with HTML5 on the way, you should make considerations for ensuring that your content will be deliverable across a number of different media devices, whether they be handheld or traditional.
