Hi all, I have given up in feeding it with worry/anger/negativity.

I am on the verge of some awesome things, and whatever it is- is just merely desperate as its clutches on me are almost all but gone. And also...its showing me what I need to work on.

I tend to offer help where I can, and to stay silent if I don't have positive information to convey here.
Where as I welcome all experience folks wish to share, the field I pursue information on most and which I have the most experience is the less dense yet still manifesting presense one would view as a ghost or a parasitic entity. But from what I've gathered from your statements, you have felt there was some kind of actual physical manifestation leaving implants and that sort of thing. Correct me if I'm wrong.
And though I am all about staying positive and opening up an avenue for communication and helpfull dialogue, I just don't personally know what to recomend in this instance.
From what I understand, there are folks out there who specialize in removing implants and that sort of thing.
I would definitely want one removed if I found out one was in me.
I don't see any of the normal recomendations against parasitic entities working against an implant employing field disruption technology and being plugged into your nervous system.

As far as implants go, it seems the greys and the black ops millitary of the USA may be instrumental in applying these objects.

Back when people were very ignorant multi dimensional beings, influence, and making their presence known, was misconstrued as demonic activity. Anything of that nature was from the devil who was a demon himself, so the name for these things has always been demons. Entities from the underbelly of the underworld, serving the devil regardless if they are or not.

I don't know these things to be demons in the Bibical sense, but I guess the term serves a purpose if not taken in a literary context.

Demon infers a sense of spiritual permanence. I'm a recovering christian, and demon carries a lot of baggage for me. I don't adhere to a christian model for how all this works at all. I think the fourth dimension is exceedingly diverse and in my opinion, intent would play a role in defining that word (demon). I think a lot of the stuff we are talking about here is very possibley animal like in nature, and as such is operating on an instinctual survival mode.

I don't think everything we can perceive multidimensionally is negative, not at all. I have personally perceived what I could term "nature spirits" that in my opinion were not negative at all. 9eagle9 has reported seeing the same kind of thing as have all kinds of folks out there. I don't think these folks (nature spirits) have any thing to do with this fourth dimension, it seems more like these folks (nature spirits) live off of nature in much the same way we do.

for the sake of simplicity ill break up astral entities that siphon energy off people into 4 classes.

Lesser elemental beings

Like the parasites/bacteria that exist in a persons intestinal system, there are elemental beings that siphon off energy from a human that operate in a similar way a Remora fish siphons food off of sharks and other sea creatures. These types of elementals are not malevolent in intent, they are simply living there lives as they are meant to, feeding off life and playing their role in as they should in there own course of development. Sometimes there presence can be beneficial, as they can siphon off any excess energy that would cause health problems if not properly balanced in your field. Virtually everyone has some of these critters attached to them at one point or another, when removed they should not be harmed, as they are not highly intelligent and have no concept of what a human being is.

earthbound humans

People who have lost their spiritual identity and cling to life and the pleasures they associate with it. Usually the po/ body intelligence has become too strong while they were alive and has dominated the motivations, and perspective of the individual into a entirely materialistic view. Usually the individual will have some sort of addiction and will siphon off energy from people in the flesh that have the same addiction. Also in this class, but extremely rare is the black magician who tries to strengthen the po to give immortality to the lower self, and will practice some form of vampirism to replenish its energy. All the old tales of vampires and ghouls fall into this class.

Negative Lower astral entities

A demon would generally fall into this class, as would other semi intelligent astral beings that willfully/deceitfully feed off of the corresponding elemental essence in a human being. The typical concept of a demon would feed the off unchecked fire within a human being that creates blood lust, murderous thoughts etc. I have never seen a reptilian as such, but if they do exist, i suppose they would be at the higher end of this spectrum. Just to note, beings in this class are intelligent/powerful enough that they can assume any form they wish to try to deceive you.


Gods

Gods that feed off the life and control those who are less powerful and intelligent than they are. this is somewhat beyond me but i have had run in's with forms of evil beyond my comprehension. I think this picture sort of gives you a idea.

As you have stated, "When is the last time you ate something that wasn't previously alive." I would take any version of immortality (mispelled that as immorality the first time!) over none. You seem to have reason to believe that 5th dimensional beings have achieved the same kind of longevity but not at the expense of living humans, so i am wondering how this might be possible? You say a (dead) girl you were talking to and willingly giving your energy to was a 4th dim. occupant. She said, "I am my own best friend" and perhaps that describes both myself and occupants of the 4th dim. to a "T"... and then she was then assisted in moving on to the 5th dim. ... Any insights you might have on not being a 'leach' in pursuit of immortality would be appreciated. Perhaps 4th dim. beings are just more determined to spend as much time as possible nearer to Gaia (our mother ... our most immediate greater self) while 5th dim. beings gravitate more towards Ra (our father the sun) ... and the other stars and creations of the universe in it's greater complexity. I once dreamt that i had died, that i could no longer speak to anyone or take any action in the world i have come to know and love ... my choice was either Oblivion or to go on as an Observer. I chose to observe, even without the possibilty of interaction, just being able to watch was enough for me. Do you think it possible to just hang around without being a leach?

On an unrelated note, sometimes things just ring of insight or truth, or a text seems to have some genius to it (as you have said) ... and I can appreciate your expanation for taking a drive or moving around as being protection from this sort of predation. This may account for the sudden inclinations that i sometimes get to do so. I imagine that this insight comes from your personal repertoire of experience. Your theory on non-conductive materials limiting exposure makes me want to fashion a glass coffin for sleeping in :)

My greatest ego attachment is in the form of believing myself to be Unique or Gifted... at least until I see others using the exact same words or sharing my 'beliefs'. I have gone so far as to check the dates on my posts vs. other person's posts to see if they didn't Steal my ideas! Only to discover that my own ulta-personal self-revelation was not unique - and that I was not the first person to even share the idea. And the Ego goes on to say ... Some dreams are certainly just self-created "junk" ... while other experiences in both the waking and dreaming world can simply not be of any doubt to the person that experienced them ... as having been a manifestation of energy from an external source. (Myself) For Castaneda (I'm someone that has also read the works of Carlos 'in triplicate') I would say that paradise was -not- to be found in the ass of an Eagle. To be eaten by the Eagle meant that a person had failed to unfold the Wings of their Totality by hatching from the physical human egg into a energetic being free from constraint. To be eaten meant that all of that persons experiences and individuality were torn asunder, that some (perhaps undefinable) aspect of their physical (Tonal) being was consumed, and that everything else was cast back into the birthing abyss (the Nagual). I believe that that is often the case. I believe that other beings stick around to some extent in the 4th dimension (as you call it) and that a myriad of other possilibities and alternatives exist as well. My question for you, as person that has helped many ghosts to 'move on', is this: does that change anything for you? If you are encouraging/luring them to seek Oblivion rather than the seeming immortality of their current state? I had hoped you could guarantee that they were in a better place :) After all, just like a parasitic entity, you claim to have gained some energy from this exhange. Personally, i am most deffinitely not "fine" with nothingness. I have a great love for life that I do not wish to lose. I have seen that a powerfull emotion can, in and of itself, cause a being to continue on in it's existence ... even beyond the hazy grasp of death and loss of the physical form. Fear, Hatred, Hunger, Love ... one is just as good as the other. Only - the manner of existence there-after will reflect that emotion almost entirely. Just the same, I don't believe most people have enough personal power to summon up the strength of emotion required to ensure immortality, if that is their goal. Emotions come and go. For me, the better bet would be an exercise of willpower and intent, free from emotion. I'm afraid that i don't truly have enough "Love" to get the job done. I'm afraid that most people do not have enough "Love" to escape from personal ego-death Oblivion. But if I am truly afraid of not having enough love... and if I could focus on that Fear... :)

(Myself) I'm a pessimist as far as reincarnation goes. I do believe in access to a shared consciousness and memories... and feel that people mistake this access for some personal previous life. Or maybe some particle of that being is actually part of your current physical make-up and through quantuum entanglement and shared consciousness you are accessing their memories. I just don't believe that -you- continue to be -you- but in another body. In that way, I don't believe that any of us are 'getting out of this alive'. However, you and I have both seen ghosts first hand. You may recall when Carlos came across a human ghost and it's allies on some hilltop in the dessert. He felt disdain... and Don Juan told him, 'Don't you dare. It may not be what you or I would want for ourselves... but he succeeded in his quest for immortality.' By the same token, I'm not sure it's fair to say that Carlos Castaneda has failed. He has affected the consciousness of countless generations to come. You and I speak his words. We stay sane by knowing that others have seen similar things before us. If we see further than other men, it is because we have stood on the backs of giants. Add-to-this, there is no reason to believe that he didn't find some form of lasting spiritual immortality just because his physical body perished in a seemingly commonplace way. My best (and possibly only) friend in the world overdosed on drugs at 21 years of age. His last words were, "Oh Wow." Because he could see what we do not. People who die in pain cry out for their mother. People who die in revelation or awe say, "Oh Wow." Bill Gates recently passed as well... the richest man in the world... with so much wealth he undoubtedly touched countless lives with his philanthropy. When he died his last six words were this, "Oh Wow. Oh Wow. Oh Wow." Perhaps we cannot begin to imagine exactly what he saw, but I cannot imagine a better death. And none of us can imagine where his spirit has gone ... if it did not pass into Oblivion.

I recently had a night filled with nightmares involving a close friend and found out a week later that they had actually been through hell and back again. But you are talking about a 'mind' comprised of innummerable cells separated by great distances communicating none-the-less (instantaneously). It is my understanding that Quantuum Entanglment has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt... meaning we now know for certain that things -can- travel faster than the speed of light... and that things in close proximity to each other for any length of time (or perhaps greatly similar to each other even?) are more likely to become entangled.

(Myself) Well said. I'm not sure why anyone should or would alter their belief system based on someone else's personal experiences. For instance, my pessimism regarding reincarnation would seem to put be at odds with experiences had by many of the most active persons in this forum... but i simply have no personal experience or reason to believe that i have ever been someone -other- than I am right now. Having an open mind is important, but its also important to question the validity of believing that Tauros from the planet Zewnon has just contacted you in a strange dream with a revelation regarding the importance of your eating only brocolli and cauliflower from now on. From an early age i had an interest in psychology and (though probably not always successful) made a promise to myself that i wouldn't sugar-coat my own thinking, that i wouldn't hide from myself or the thoughts that popped into my head no matter how unpleasant they might be, and that i would try to avoid deluding myself. I might be 98% sure that i just interacted with something other than myself, but you have to entertain the notion that you may wrong. That said, it can be very difficult to dis-believe what you have seen with your own 'eyes'.

(Myself) Heh, heh. Not that this is funny... just that i wrote the part about being flattened by a 16-wheeler shortly before reading your account. A third hypothesis would be this: You heard them right. In this world, here and now, they were be being controlled by the 'parasites' that we are speaking of. If a group of people use jimson weed and then all take turns passing around a cigarette that all of them can see, but you can not, is the cigarette real? No. It's not. Part of being 'psychic' (and that may truly be the first time i have ever used that word) is in understanding that the whole world may go insane, but you are still responsible for seeing clearly. Their physical lips were moving, but only you could comprehend their meaning or hear that anything had been said at all.

I once sat outside a classroom waiting for the bell to toll with other students waiting for a class. A young man across from me asked the girl next to him if she had ever heard the story of Sisyphus (doing the same thing over and over again w/o realizing it) ... she said 'no' so he told her the story. A Week Later the three of us sat outside the same classroom waiting... and the same young man asked the same young lady next to him if she had every heard the story of Sisyphus ... she said 'no' so he told her the story. If i had told them what i had seen, in all likely-hood they both would have thought that i was crazy. It's kind of like when DNA said that he has given up on sharing the 'Agreements' that he gets from the world with others ... it was meant for you alone, and no one else would understand.

There is a parasite that gets into a ants body and makes its way to the ants brain... probably no bigger than a single cell. After the ant is infected it walks away from the colony, climbs up the tallest piece of grass it can find and closes its mandibles down on the tip of the grass. Then it just hangs there ... waiting to be eaten by an hervivore so that the life-cycle of the parasite can come full circle! When we are sick we sometimes start to sneeze a lot. Are we trying to clear the infection from our body? Or is the infection causing us to sneeze in order to spread?

Without it we would not have ocean tides which in some likelihood were the origin of life on planet earth. I thought you were one of those 'we all need to try to love everything' kind of people. What happened to that? Or maybe i'm just a poisonous person, by way of indictment... my nickname used to be Pale Moon.

(Myself) Great find man. I've read many accounts of different type of natural parasitism... I've read the ant account before and shared it earlier (before reading this post) but that is the most detailed account that i have seen. I didn't know that the ant would go back to the nest and try, try again to be eaten! Makes you wonder what all we do in the name of helping our own physical parasites... Do we scratch an itch to kill a parasite ... or do we scratch an itch because a particular parasite released a chemical signal that causes us to scratch ourselves so that it can thereby flourish? I have heard that person's with leprosy are actually more sexually voracious or driven than person's without. Pretty scary stuff.

I really don't understand how people can throw out some of these beliefs (in any arena) and expect anyone that might disagree to just remain quiet. If that were the case then everyone would be right about everything that they say all the time and we would all live in our own little fairyland world with no consensus. Personally, i'm not here to make everyone happy ... i'm here to try to uncover the truth as best as i can. I hope that does not prevent me from being a member of this Forum. And I give many thanks to anyone that actually made it through the entirety of this post and hope that i didn't bore all of you to tears... but stay tuned - and i just might.

My own experiences are quite limited even compared to some persons, so please understand that I continue to enjoy hearing about everyone else's experiences as well. There is still much to see. And much to learn.

Dream Entities (A Catalog of Inorganic / Ephemeral Life)

Sorcerers don’t get lonely.

If ever you thought that you were alone in an otherwise empty room, you were quite mistaken. A host of entities surrounds each of us at every moment. Slow down the range of your perception and a legion of inorganic beings, each with individual awareness, will shift to the onion’s surface. Something about us attracts the attention of inorganic life as moths to a flame. We are candles burning at both ends, magnificent firework explosions for beings whose consciousness spans time immeasurable as compared to our own brief existence. Before explaining a method by which you may come to traverse this plane of perception, it would be fitting to prepare you for what you may come across. If your experiences are anything like your peers, it is likely that you will eventually encounter a half dozen different types of sentient beings. During these shifts of perception you must strive to maintain an aura of confidence and a sense of clarity, resolve and well-being. You need only view the Discovery channel or step out into the real world in order to be reminded of the fact that the universe can be a hostile place. Except during periods of rest, you are either the hunter or the hunted. Mankind spends a great deal of time as top predator. With this in mind, you must be prepared to step back from facing a spider on its own web. After all, there are places that we aren’t meant to go and sights that we aren’t meant to see. This point aside, the vast majority of the beings that you encounter will have either no interest in harming you or no ability to do so directly.

There is, generally speaking, more danger is being unaware of the host of entities that surrounds us than in being fully aware of their presence. Would you change your aims and your thinking patterns if you knew without a doubt that your ancestors could see your every action and hear your every thought? If they do not judge you, then it is because they know exactly who you are (at all times) without having to do so. Beings that you have never known in this world have your interests at heart as well. In a sorcerer’s world karma is instantaneous. Contemplate some hideous thought and a hideous face will shoulder in and join the entourage that previously surrounded you. These are our ‘guardian angels’, except that the bent of their character matches our own. We reap what we sow with every action or obsession. If we center ourselves and attempt to live in a zen or christ-like manner, then the entities around us will be positive and benign in nature. The entourage that surrounds us contributes to our perception of the world, at a subtle level, as being either cheerful or macabre. Persons whom we meet subconsciously sense the presence of the multitude around us and it affects their perception of us as being either honest or sly, likeable or uncharismatic. A larger entourage means that more energy is available to us and we exert a correspondingly greater influence over the thoughts and actions of others with our presence. It becomes advisable, on more levels than one, to ‘surround yourself with happy thoughts’. Free up the mind of selfishness and obsession. Let go of ego attachments and the belief that you are superior to those around you because of this reason or that. Resist compulsion and seek to devalue the items that are in your possession. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

Inorganic life is as diverse as organic life, with endless variety in size, shape, and temperament. There are several types, however, which are either more abundant or easier to observe. Following is a brief profile of the entities which are most ‘visibly’ prolific in their interactions with mankind. The name given to each type of entity is only vaguely appropriate. If another culture of sentient entities were attempting to label mankind they could end up calling us ‘Bi-pedal Flesh’. In our profile they might mention that we seem to spend one third or our time engaged in seemingly purposeful activity and another third at apparent rest. These profiles must be taken in a similar vein.

Full Ephemeral Figure - It is likely that there is at least one, if not several of these, nearby. These entities tend to position themselves as organic beings would in the same surroundings. Our life is lived in a flash compared with their much lengthier existence. Thus, they tend to lean casually against a wall, stand nonchalantly or even sit on the floor rather than take a seat on furniture which will be moved innumerable times during the length of their stay. Some of these entities attach themselves, at least for a time, to a particular person and follow the drama of that person’s life as it unfolds. Others are attached to a particular building or location and are apt to stay put while persons come and go around them. As with human beings, most of these entities prefer to roam freely, staying put for a while when something catches their fancy and then moving on when it seems that some other pasture might be greener. The veil that hides them from our sight is one-sided. At all times they see both their world and our own. This might be why they seem to be more patient and intelligent than the average person. They seem alert, but in a casual and relaxed manner. There are, however, exceptions. From time to time an agitated full ephemeral figure manages to gain someone’s attention for a moment in time, adding more fuel to campfire ghost stories. As we may shift the range of our perception in order to see them, on occasion one of these entities may bodily shift into our normal perceptual range. These entities needn’t always be agitated in order to make this type of shift, but this is often the case. My first experience with this type of entity came when I was very young. I awoke in the middle of the night and crawled out of bed to go pee. I walked into the unlit bathroom and saw, plain as day, a gentleman wiping his hands on the bath towel. My heart leaped into my throat. I turned on the light and he was gone. I turned the light off – and there he was again. Three dimensional as myself, though seemingly made of mist or smoke, he finished up with the hand towel and turned to look in my direction. I quickly turned the light back on and left it on. Many years later a friend and I were walking along the gravel back roads of the small town that I grew up in. As we reached a point in the road that was parallel to the railroad tracks, the bell started to toll and the flashing crossing arms started to lower. We both looked up simultaneously to see the full ephemeral figure of a frightened deer running along the tracks under the bright light of a full moon. A moment later a train came along in fast pursuit. We can only hope that the nocturnal flight of that night has since given way to roaming with hooved friends in greener pastures.

Floating Faces - With human-like features, for the most part, these apparitions float ear-to-ear at approximately arms length across our entire field of perception. A person is likely to have just a few full ephemeral figures nearby, if any at all, but we are surrounded at all times by more than a dozen of these other entities. Our state of mind seems to affect this type of entity even more strongly than the full figure variety. Full figures occasionally move about and shift positions, but don’t often arrive at or depart from a location. Floating faces, however, seem to pop in and out of view at the speed of thought. While full figures take interest in our thoughts and actions, floating faces seem more attentive to our emotional energies. The type of emotion that we radiate is dependent upon our current mental health and emotional well being. Some of these entities bask in the presence of kindness and humility, while others feed off of hostility and perversion. Thus, our entourage is representative of our innermost self and the percentage of healthful versus macabre thoughts that we indulge in. Some of these entities lose interest rather quickly, while others stay with us through times that are both pleasant and unpleasant, cheerful and morose (though rooting for us to gravitate in one direction or the other). And so, these entities, too, might be thought of as our guardian angels. Or, for persons of a more troubled nature, the monkey on their back. Occasionally, someone that we know may seem very close at hand though actually residing a great distance from us, and appear as a floating face while interacting with you.

Eyes Alone - The eyes of all that have ever been peer down at us still. Eyes of entities that were never organic in nature look to us as well. These eyes may appear close to you and loom larger than your own or watch on from a great distance, out by the clouds or the sun. As part of us remains alert to signs of danger from the external world even as we sleep, so too, does a part of us remain dreaming even while we are awake. And so, the eyes hovering around you may belong to an entity that you would otherwise never meet or to the dreaming soul of a person that you currently know. Floating eyes at a close proximity usually indicate direct interest or interaction at a personal level. Eyes seen at the distance of clouds usually appear in large number and seem to comprise a veil across perception, as if lining the wall of the vortex that we ride in. This type of entity is more likely to appear to the neophyte sorcerer than the previous two, though full figures are the most common phenomena experienced by the average non-sorcerer. Though these entities are ever-present, our perception of them (as well as their interest in us) is usually short-lived and sporadic.

Distinguished Presence - A friend and I were visiting a local state park in the late evening hours when both of us were suddenly overcome by the sensation of a dark and foreboding presence. We fled from the location almost immediately and later discussed the entity that we had come across. The incident registered in both of us as a dual phenomena. We both sensed a cruel masculine presence detaining a fearful feminine presence. Some days later we mustered our courage and went back to the park, but the presence was gone. I later learned that just a week or two prior a group of six men and women were sitting by their campfire and drinking beer when, all at once, they looked up at each other, jumped to their feet, hopped into their vehicles and fled from the same park. Perhaps the only thing that we had to fear was fear itself. Only a couple of times in my life have I had the unpleasant experience of backing down and running from a fight. Though I regret both instances, I can’t say in either case that the adversarial relationship would have been beneficial or have led to a positive outcome if I had stuck around. A distinguished presence, more generally, is a presence for which there is a measuring stick. There are identifiable personality traits that make sense in an earthly context. This presence has no physical or ephemeral form, there is nothing to see or hear. None-the-less, ideas and feelings may be communicated directly. The presence may be entirely inorganic or it may originate from a person or animal that has passed on or still exists among the living. When there is a great love between two persons or they share a blood relationship – a person may feel another’s presence from a great distance and experience the other person as being very close at hand for a short duration of time.

Physical Ephemeral - These entities are fond of habituating statuary, dolls, pictures, and the knots present in wood paneling. Cognizant of the fact that these items draw our interest and focus our attention, they take up residence therein. Each time that our attention is drawn to the eyes of a favorite stuffed tiger, for example, the entity is able to bask in the glow or our attention. This is harmless to us, for the most part, as we constantly pour energy out of our eyes as light from the sun or heat from a flame. Related to this group, if not one-in-the-same, is the physical ephemeral entity which seems to actually bend or arrange the physical formation that it inhabits. Rather than being just a spot on the wall, the wall itself may seem to shift and bulge outward at times with features that may appear quite human. I find this group of entities particularly interesting for their ability to not only bridge the gap of perception which separates physical from ephemeral but because they can influence to a degree the shape and nature of the material world or, at least, our perception of it.

Dark Spots – These entities are just as they sound. They are the ameobas of the ephemeral world. They may flit around a room much as the white reflection caused by the face of a wristwatch being struck by sunlight. Ranging in size from approximately a golf ball to a softball, they seem to glide along walls in an unpredictable manner. Their movement, however, leaves no doubt as to a sort of sentience. They aren’t shadow so much as a miniature void which is creating an absence of light.

DREAMING ENTITIES

All of the entities previously profiled, with the exception of ‘physical ephemeral’, may be encountered in a dream. Due to their inherent nature, however, some types are more commonplace on the dreaming plane than others. Full ephemeral figures, for example, are generally drawn more strongly toward the physical material world than the world of dreams. Floating Faces, on the other hand, are equally attracted to the emotions we emanate as individuals regardless of whether we are dreaming or awake. It is quite common to encounter them in either realm. Due to the shift of perception that takes place, the hazy veil and semi-conscious state that exists between dreaming and awake may be the best vantage from which to observe them. Our range of awareness is much more fluid in the world of dreams, and so, the number and type of entities that we may encounter is significantly greater while we are dreaming than that which is available to us while we are awake. The contextual information which helps us to make sense of the physical world is no longer binding when we are asleep and adream. Differences between the following entities and ourselves make it very unlikely that you will ever encounter them while you are awake.

Other Dreamers - Most of the persons that you encounter in your dreams will be figments of your own imagination. They aren’t completely illusory, however, as each is a very real manifestation of a different aspect of your innermost self. They may represent your fears, your hopes, your darkest subconscious perversions or your most sagacious potential. As we sleep, it is quite common to don an assortment of masks and become unrecognizable to ourselves. This self-involved puppet theatre gives credence to the idea that each individual person is actually a community of selves. After this realization, while awake you may come to experience the sensation that those around you, yourself included, are simply ‘different faces of the same god’. Though this is a metaphysical possibility in an organic world, the same sensation in a dream should remind you of the fact that the conversation that you are having is with yourself. Not everything that you experience ine your dreams is entirely fantastical. Barriers that exist while we are awake begin to crumble as we lose consciousness. Whether dreaming or awake, we exude an electromagnetic pulse, an unending signature which reports every aspect of our being. When the walls are down, through sleep or sorcery, the energies of two persons may encounter one another in a manner which leaves distance nothing to measure. In our dreams we are often drawn to persons that we have already met in the physical world. We may also encounter persons that we have never before met while awake. It can be disheartening to know that some of the persons that we have just met we may never meet again. Have you ever fallen in love in a dream? Unfortunately, if you are like most persons, you wouldn’t remember it if you had. We lock away our dreams from our conscious self, though now and again they may surface or we find a way to keep them fresh and available to conscious recall. It happens on occasion that two persons share the same dream, awake, and together are able to corroborate the details of that singular event. For the most part, however, if you are skilled or lucky enough to remember a dream in which you encountered another dreamer, it is likely that that person will forget. Persons that have passed on don’t necessarily let that little inconvenience stop them from further dreaming, though a slight shift in there magnetic signature will likely leave no doubt as to their now incorporeal nature. The bonds that tie one soul to another may be strong enough to find (in dreaming) sanctuary beyond the hazy grasp of death. Many animals, especially mammals, dream quite regularly. Taken together, don’t be surprised if you discover yourself sharing a dream with a beloved pet which has recently passed on.

Shape Shifters - These are entities whose apparent form isn’t actually tied to any organic (physically related) construct. Any shape they appear to possess is illusory as their true form is simply an energetic configuration. The form that they choose isn’t necessarily a predisposition, but rather, suits their current purpose. While dreaming, most of us habitually envision ourselves as human-shaped. Shape shifters may do the same, even taking the appearance of persons that we know by coming into alignment with our expectations. They may also observe unobtrusively in the guise of an inanimate object such as a street lamp, a book, or a clock on the wall. While entities encountered in the waking world communicate indirectly with ideas, feelings or gestures - dream entities may also communicate with the spoken word. Very few have anything of interest to say, as most are simply attracted to the energy that we radiate. The legendary succubus is a shape shifter of sorts. This entity basks in the emotionally charged aspects of interaction. They elicit our involvement by entertaining our interests in procreation and horizontal athletics. They may fixate our attention to such a degree that upon awakening we find ourselves unable to move for a short duration of time. Dreams involving copulation take on a whole different flavor when the dreamer realizes that their partner may be more than appearances would suggest. Though shape shifters are quite pervasive, more often than not the individuals that you encounter in your dreams will be other dreamers or fantastical persons created by your own overactive imagination. Easily distinguished from a true shape shifter, there is a somewhat similar dreaming creature that I will temporarily dub a ‘grimalkin’. These ephemeral creatures do have a true form which is humanoid in nature and are only partly successful in taking on the appearance of something else for any duration without noticeable distortion.

Overt Presence - While the entity dubbed ‘distinguished presence’ (normally encountered in the waking world) lends itself easily to personification, the typically dream related overt presence is more difficult to describe. Its existence is so far removed from our ordinary range of perception that aside from a very atypical dream, you will likely never encounter one at all. If one of these entities takes a passing interest in you, it will be a ‘dream’ that you can not forget. Some dreams have such a strong sense of realism that they are unaffected by the veil which keeps most ordinary dreams from our conscious recall. Once, a long time female companion and I were sleeping next to each other – each dreaming our own dreams. The sudden appearance of one of these entities awakened us both to the same dream - a dream in which we sensed both it and each other. We both experienced a sense of its vastness. I could tell that it’s power was greater than my own, yet I was unafraid and confident in my ability to find calm and strength in the center of my being. My companion knew fear in the face of this entity and that fear was magnified until she was certain that something terrible must come to pass. Then, as suddenly as it came, it was gone, and we both awoke. “Night Terrors”, as described by a recent textbook on child psychology, provides evidence for the impact of the overt presence. (Kalat) Psychologists distinguish between nightmares and night terrors in the following manner; a nightmare is an unpleasant dream, but a dream none-the-less, while a night terror creates a sudden arousal from sleep accompanied by extreme panic. Night terror almost always occurs during sleep stage three or four, not during REM sleep. Fairly common in young children, frequency tends to decline with age. Children have very fluid awareness. They have not yet developed a shield to protect against the energies that surround and bombard us. This combination may leave them vulnerable on unfamiliar ground. As adults, we have learned to erect mental barriers and to avoid conscious recall of this territory altogether. When we sleep without dreams, we are not far from death. It is not uncommon for us to stop breathing for up to ten seconds while we are asleep. Then we remember not to die, not to let go completely. At this juncture, even the dreaming body comes apart at the seams. Disintegration of the ego and the individual self means a necessary break in memory. In this way, several times each night we die and are reborn to self and consciousness. It isn’t difficult to imagine why a child encountering an incorporeal, impersonal and predatory entity which hovers near to this field of perception would come straight awake, remember little, and be quite terrified.

Before explaining a method by which you may come to traverse this plane of perception, it would be fitting to prepare you for what you may come across.

In other forums i have previously shared a way to 'see' ephemeral entities by maintaining lucidity and keeping your eyes open whilst shifting more towards a dreaming state (while standing in front of a mirror in a dimly lit room). But do any of us truly trust our dreaming minds? Isn't it even easier to fool ourselves into believing outlandish things while we are unconscious or approaching the dreaming state? There are many paths for reaching the same destination, but i hope to now offer persons a new method.

No use looking for a spell, a cantrip, incantation or ritual - when acts of Sorcery take place Here and Now. But in this case, there is only one thing to Remember ...

"Memory is its own Magic." With eyes open, see everything in your field of vision at once. Focus on nothing in particular and ensure that the room is only dimly lit. Quiet the mind. Silence the internal dialogue. Place all of your available energy on the task at hand, which is this: remembering visually what the room used to look like. There will always be a real difference between what you currently see and what you remember - as the light in the room (be it candle or dimmed flourescent) always fluctuates due to the ebb and flow of electricity. Noticing the differences will help to 'slow down' your vision and allow you to focus more clearly on the shifting Ephemeral World. Some of these differences will resolve into inorganic / ephemeral life. Of course, nothing prevents us from trying to 'see' even with our eyes closed. This type of heightened awareness of what you are seeing probably coincides with a greater activation of the LGN visual processing center of the brain (which also happens when a person takes L.S.D.) as you are literally taking in and processing more visual information.

It probably sounds very simple. And it is. But i think it can increase the likelihood of your catching the Needle in motion as it weaves the Ephemeral World.

(Myself) I'm sure that i have a flexible sense of morality... if I found myself on the 'fourth plain of existence' for a length of time (hopefully approaching immortality) I don't believe i would have any qualms about my source of sustenance. As you have stated, "When is the last time you ate something that wasn't previously alive." I would take any version of immortality (mispelled that as immorality the first time!) over none.


First off,,,I would like to thank you Sorcer Gamble for climbing aboard the train so to speak. :)
I consider this thread a decent repository of knowledge and in the best of circumstances experiences.
Sometimes I think I've handled the thread too much and maybe it would have done a little better had I gave a more hands off approach to it. But alas, I would be lying if I said that I started this thread to be philanthropic.

This thread was created in the hopes of having conversations on this difficult topic, and since it's almost impossible to bring this stuff to freinds and colleagues,,,,,(if your friends are like mine, a bad idea) I hoped some folks would be interested in conversing on this topic.
And as much as I wanted to hear the experiences of other folks,,,I also wanted to jot my own down and get some feedback. Again, we just can't talk about this stuff in our everyday lives. :)


Just for the record, I believe in a reincarnational model. The works that I have found correlations in would be the stuff by Michael Newton, The Urantia Book, The Michael Teachings and Carlos Castaneda.

When you talk of being in the fourth Dimension and not caring where your sustainance comes from, it is of my opinion that we have all spent time there at the end of one life time or another.

I don't think it is a singularly unique experience.
I personally don't think I will be attempting to spend any time there this time around. It is my experience,,,,that those folks known as "shadlow beings" and I have a experience on this thread that I have detailed, that these shadow beings are folks that have been in the fourth dimension too long, and that they apparently are lobbyists that attempt to keep folks in the fourth dimension for as long as possible.





You seem to have reason to believe that 5th dimensional beings have achieved the same kind of longevity but not at the expense of living humans, so i am wondering how this might be possible? You say a (dead) girl you were talking to and willingly giving your energy to was a 4th dim. occupant. She said, "I am my own best friend" and perhaps that describes both myself and occupants of the 4th dim. to a "T"... and then she was then assisted in moving on to the 5th dim. ...

Yes, dead is the wrong term to use for this girl.
This girl crossed the thresh hold, this girl went through the tunnel that divides the fourth and fifth dimensions.
As such she is the full totallity of her self. She is the undivided, non-amniesa living repository of hundreds if not thousands of lives.
She is far more alive than you or I as a result. She is connected to source, again far more than you or I, and as such there is no need to be parasitic, nor would she want to be.



Any insights you might have on not being a 'leach' in pursuit of immortality would be appreciated.

I guess this is a leap of faith of sorts. It is my personal belief that we are meant to cross the tunnel that appears after we die. It is our choice as to wether we cross it or not. But I for one, I will be crossing it immediatly.

Perhaps 4th dim. beings are just more determined to spend as much time as possible nearer to Gaia (our mother ... our most immediate greater self) while 5th dim. beings gravitate more towards Ra (our father the sun) ... and the other stars and creations of the universe in it's greater complexity. I once dreamt that i had died, that i could no longer speak to anyone or take any action in the world i have come to know and love ... my choice was either Oblivion or to go on as an Observer. I chose to observe, even without the possibilty of interaction, just being able to watch was enough for me. Do you think it possible to just hang around without being a leach?



I appreciate your questions in terms of scenarios and speculation.
I don't think the choice is oblivion or that of a mute observer.

For one thing, it has been my experience that ghosts, (4th D entities) are very aware of eachother.

They are not solitary beings.
These folks live in a society of sorts they have created in the fourth D, and they sustain that existance by milking humans, who are just freaking giving it away right now through the actions we indulge in.

You may attempt to hang around and not be a leach, but your actions would be viewed and observed by beings participating in a fourth D colony so to speak, and then a lobbyist would come along and try to talk you into joining their group.

And as far as trying to hang around and not sustain yourself, I imagine it would get more and more difficult. I've talked to a ghost that had only been dead for a couple of days, and they were indulging in parastism.


On an unrelated note, sometimes things just ring of insight or truth, or a text seems to have some genius to it (as you have said) ... and I can appreciate your expanation for taking a drive or moving around as being protection from this sort of predation. This may account for the sudden inclinations that i sometimes get to do so. I imagine that this insight comes from your personal repertoire of experience. Your theory on non-conductive materials limiting exposure makes me want to fashion a glass coffin for sleeping in :)



Wow,,,now I will expose myself for the tin foil hat wearing dude I am.
I personally experimented with the idea of building a cinder block cave of sorts in my room to sleep in.
The walls were cinderblock, and the roof and floor were wood with thick granite tiles. It worked really well I must say.

I had the most refreshing sleep I think I've ever had in my life. But being as I was single and had to explain this complete and udder odd behavior to women as I tried to talk them into making out on the couch and not my bed, well,,,this got a little hard to hide and explain.

I guess it's all a matter of how extreme you want to get in your philosopher in a cave life style. :)
As for myself, I had no problems being a hermit of sorts, keeping to my apt and my studies, but I was never a fan of abstaining completely if you will. :hippie:

My greatest ego attachment is in the form of believing myself to be Unique or Gifted... at least until I see others using the exact same words or sharing my 'beliefs'. I have gone so far as to check the dates on my posts vs. other person's posts to see if they didn't Steal my ideas! Only to discover that my own ulta-personal self-revelation was not unique - and that I was not the first person to even share the idea. And the Ego goes on to say ... I hear what your saying here. I've toyed with the idea of trying to write a book, and have started several times myself. But I've come to the conclusian that I just don't have anything original to say. As you have just stated, most of this crap has been said time and time again.

Thanks for your feedback, DNA. I'm especially interested in your ideas regarding a person maintaining their unique self identity in the 4th dimension as being a sort of amnesiac. Forgive me if I'm repeating anything here, as I haven't read thru the whole thread. I'd like to but I'm at work, perhaps the biggest energy parasite of all.

It's an interesting angle you take there with the ghosts. I'm programmed to think of energy parasites as something much more exotic, and ghosts seem almost mundane by Avalon standards.

Even more mundane, and quickly looked over in favor of more sexy options ,are people. Just ordinary people. Alive and well people.

Energy is the greatest currency in the universe. We're all competing for it all the time, sometimes consciously and sometimes unconsciously. If you find yourself wondering why you did or said something that isn't immediately understandable, plug in what I just said about energy and it may begin to make sense.

Everything is motivated by love or fear. Right? I think so. Massive amounts of energy are associated with each emotion. Entities, both human and non human are getting off on these emotions at all times. It becomes like a drug fix, and once addicted one will do whatever it takes to continue to experience it.

At least here in 3d, energy is a finite resource. We all know this, if not consciously than certainly subconsciously. Finite resources create fear. This fear creates a mad scramble for the goods. That mad scramble creates all the ego games we play and get exposed to in all our relationships at one time or another.

As I get older I'm much more aware of my energy and my time, and how they apply to my everyday interactions. I've gotten very strategic about it, like I believe all spiritual warriors must. It's a Castaneda concept that a love. Time and energy are currency to me. If certain interactions leave me feeling depleted, I've lost currency, or life force if you will. These nibbles may not be noticed at first. They sneak up on you. But, before you realize it you're being devoured whole and you no longer have enough energy to fight the parasites off

And the parasites are often your friends! Or family! Once you wake up to the energy game you see motivations for what they really are. There are friends I went from talking to almost daily who I will only speak to maybe once a month now. They were sapping my energy. My life force. And I was getting nothing in return. I was hemmoraging my essence. Now I pick my spots. And if those interactions feel draining, I end them. For example, if I'm on the phone I'll just f#cking hang up on people now if I have to. I will no longer allow low vibrational emotions like guilt to trick me into surrendering my energy.

Of course it gets a little trickier with the non organics. To me they are represented by the television, commercial music, the so called news, so forth. Avoid those. That's a sound strategy. Make it into a discipline.

There are some that will simply follow you around. They aren't getting off on love, they are getting off on some version of fear, be it depression, insecurity, etc. So the trick is, quite simply, to clean up your spiritual and emotional backyard. Stop emanating this sh!t and the f#ckers will stop coming 'round. That's not always easy. I've been depressed. It doesn't change overnight. You have to embrace the concept of small steps, and strategize nearly every element of your life until you emerge from it.

The warrior, as it applies to the Castaneda stuff, must be strategic. He must be cunning. He must have discipline. These concepts have been swept under the rug in favor of new age ideas of love and light and so forth. But in my experience, this is the proper approach(the Casteneda approach)

I want to add something that happened yesterday. The whole thing took about three seconds.

I was walking along the street, having just left home. Suddenly my head filled with sound. At first I thought I was having a heart attack, I have never felt anything like it before. My knees got weak and I got dizzy. The pain in my head was severe.

And I'm presuming your girlfriend was attacked inside a home or place of business?

Open Eyes, I'm sorry for these horrors you describe having been inflicted on a loved one.
Of everything you have mentioned, it is the horrors and atrocities having been perpetrated on a child that make it difficult for one to enter into dialogue here.
It is something there is very little one can do to offer comfort and support about.


Everything else here is speculation and unimportant when compared with caring for someone who has gone through such trauma.

Open eyes, I have battled these beings on more than one occasion and it was absolutely terrifying. It took all I had not to back down. One of the worst was after Katrina, when in retrospect I realized the storm opened some kind of portal and the vilest, vilest evil came in. It attacked me with a vengence. What it boils down to is in my opinion is this:

I have a personal take on this where as I've come to the conclusion that we ALL have an over riding character flaw. I mention the character flaw in response to what you are saying because I personally believe that this character flaw is a living non-organic life form that in fact is fed through an emotional conduit certain types of our soul's energies.
I'm of the opinion that this exterior or periphery parasite has a voice it uses in our heads that we often mistake for our own.
It also is responsible for providing impulses causing us to perpetuate certain negative behavior.
There is a little known channeled work which outlines this, the work comes from a group who called their cumulative writings "The Michael Teachings".
Just like Jane Roberts, this entity first used a Ouija board to begin the communications and this eventually evolved to automatic writings.
There is genius in the writings and I'm amazed the works never received wider acclaim.

Every one of us has a fundamental flaw, an immaturity of character, a dark side or negative tendency. This character flaw, also known as a ‘Chief Feature’, tends to take control whenever we feel stressed, anxious or uncertain. To the extent that you can identify and handle yours, you are doing well in your personal growth.




What is a Chief Feature?


Generally speaking, all personality traits (or overleaves (http://personalityspirituality.net/articles/the-michael-teachings/articles/the-michael-teachings/overleaves-the-structure-of-personality/)) are neutral. They can be applied positively or negatively, but in themselves they are neither positive nor negative. Personality traits are merely different ways of being.

A chief feature [1] is different. A chief feature is negative by nature.

A chief feature is a dominant negative attitude — a defensive and potentially destructive pattern of thinking, feeling and acting. We could also call it a constraining factor or personal stumbling block.

We all have at least one. It comes and goes in childhood, solidifies during adolescence, and then surrounds us like a protective shell in adulthood. It seems like a good thing to have at first but, as I will explain, it is based on a false premise and so serves no real purpose. Throughout adulthood it just interferes with our lives by blocking aspects of our true nature and stifling our true character, usually without us even knowing.

Your chief feature is your primary ego defence and your main stumbling block in life.

This article describes how the chief feature comes to have such a stranglehold on our personality. First, though, a general description of the seven possible chief features.

Impatience and martyrdom are both about our actions. It is as if there is a battle of wills going on between ourselves and others, or life, or even ourselves.


With impatience, we hate it whenever anything interferes with our will or slows us down. “Why do people always stop me from doing what I need to do? Everybody should just get out of my way.” Frustration is intolerable.
With martyrdom, we feel a constant need to blame others for our own actions, as though we have no will of our own, or no other choice. “Don’t blame me for what I do. It’s all your fault.” Responsibility always lies elsewhere.


Greed and self-destruction are both about our personal existence and relationship to life. In both cases, there is a mindset that prevents us from ever feeling OK in life.


With greed, we feel a need to grasp and hoard, as though there were an intolerable lack of some vital substance: “Life will never be OK until I have it all.” But the sense of lack is a bottomless pit.
With self-destruction, our very existence is increasingly intolerable: “Life will never be OK until I end it all.” There is a constant inner turmoil that makes us want to get away from ourselves.


Arrogance and self-deprecation are both about controlling how we are perceived, or at least how we imagine we are perceived. The thought behind them is something like, “Who I really am will never be satisfactory in the eyes of others. So no-one must ever see the real me.”


With arrogance, we feel a need to be seen as better than others because being ordinary is intolerable. “I must never come across as merely average; I must always seem better than the next guy.” It’s a superiority complex.
With self-deprecation, we feel a need to be seen as little as possible because we believe ourselves to be miserably inadequate. “If anyone takes a close look at me, they will see how pathetic I really am.” This is an inferiority complex.


Stubbornness is simply about change in any form.


With stubbornness, we feel a need to keep all things just as they are and resist any outside influence, even positive ones: “No, no, no! You can’t make me. I won’t have it. Leave well alone!”


We all have, within us, elements of all seven of these negative patterns. It goes with the human condition. And we can be influenced by any of them from time to time. But whichever one of these patterns is always subconsciously pulling your strings, that is your chief feature, your primary obstacle, your Achille’s heel.

In terms of our psychological well-being, personal growth and spiritual development in later life, our chief feature presents a challenge. To overcome it, we have to become more conscious. But if we utterly succumb to it, the result can be a grotesque character flaw.
Anatomy of a Character Flaw


Understanding the personality is like playing with Russian dolls — removing one layer reveals another layer underneath. If we were to open up a character flaw, what would we find? Here is my psychological understanding of the anatomy of the chief feature.
Persona


First of all, the outermost layer is what psychologists call the persona.

This layer is a mask, a pose, an act. It’s how we as adults want others to see us … a false image designed to hide the “truth” about us.

(This layer is particularly dense for those with arrogance or self-deprecation.)

For example, someone might be in the habit of acting like they are perfect and superior in every way. Their mask of superiority is what their chief feature wants the world to see instead of the terrible truth within — an ordinary, flawed human being. This would be part of the chief feature of arrogance.

The persona layer of the chief features is a cover story, a decoy, a fabrication. And it is specifically crafted to hide what lies underneath …
Shadow


There is within each of us a hidden layer of negativity and denial, known in psychology as the shadow.

The shadow includes all the childish ways we would act out our negative feelings, were we to allow it. Such negativity may be directed either against the world outside or specific others or against the self — but it is single-minded and desperate, being driven by our worst fears, our inner demons.

The “demons” within us represent our personality at its most selfish, destructive and immature. These childish aspects of ourselves are obsessed with getting their own way, and terrified of getting it wrong.

We wear the persona as a mask to hide these ugly tendencies from public view. The outer image of ourselves portrayed by the persona is usually the exact opposite of the inner image we hold of our own shadow. If my suppressed urge (shadow) is to be nasty, for example, my public image (persona) may come across as unusually nice.
Fear

This is a core of fear — personified as the helpless young child within us who fears to repeat some sort of painful experience.

At the core of personality we have our emotional memory banks from early childhood, even from birth. There will also be emotional resonances with traumas from past lives. Here is where all experiences of loss, deprivation, abandonment, neglect, abuse and mistreatment have left their mark.

The tremendous fear of repeating such experiences is the emotional engine of our negative and destructive tendencies, and the driving force of the entire chief feature.
How we create our own stumbling-block


Every child is born with a list of needs and desires.


Infants need nurturing, caring, attention, affection—in a word, love—in order to feel safe and secure.
Toddlers need to assert themselves and discover their capabilities and limitations as independent physical beings.
Schoolchildren need to form relationships and be accepted by their peers.


But life is never perfect. In some cases, there is deliberate abuse. Parents can be emotionally immature or insensitive, or too wrapped up in their own problems to care for the needs of a child. Even the best parents are imperfect in their love. Some are physically unable to give the child the optimum type or amount of love required. Sometimes, parents just die or disappear from life.

It isn’t all about the parents, of course. Siblings can also have a devastating effect on the child, as can friends, neighbours and schoolteachers. Some research shows that parental influence on a child’s development is prominent only up to age five, after which peer groups become the greater influence.

Inevitably, a child carries his or her own version of suffering. There is always some degree, however small, of loss, deprivation, frustration, trauma, abandonment, neglect, abuse or mistreatment.
Fear


All chief features are based in fear, and fear is the driving force behind all the negative poles of the overleaves, and the cosmos for that matter.

MICHAEL


Having undergone negative experiences, the child now has a constant fear of the negative experiences recurring. “If life is out to get me, it could get me at any moment. I never know how it might get me next.”

The fear may be a terror of some specific bad experience happening again, or it could be more of a dread of some awful thing which is always threatening to get worse. Either way, it becomes the adult personality’s deeply held sense of insecurity.

The chief feature is a character structure designed to avoid or handle a particular kind of fear.


Chief features are all built around a basic fear, which is another way of saying a block. However, it is not the fear that is the cause of the chief feature. The chief feature operates because of the protection believed necessary from that fear. It is, in essence, the fear of fear; the belief that you cannot survive if you surrender and experience the fear and what is underlying the fear. The structure is built upon that foundation.

Misconceptions


The soul still “remembers” what perfect love and freedom and security feel like, so the harsh realities of incarnation can come as a shock.

Because of the negative experiences of childhood, especially if such experiences are repeated or if they are particularly traumatic, a child begins to construct a somewhat distorted worldview. In other words, the child puts together false beliefs or negative ideas about the self, about others or about life in general.

The nature of the child’s misconceptions depend upon the type and strength of the specific painful experiences. For example, if the child is regularly punished for no apparent reason, the child might conclude that “life is out to get me.”

Children tend to over-generalise, so this misconception becomes all-encompassing. It becomes a personal myth.
Negative behaviour


Driven by a deeply-held fear, and steered by a distorted worldview, the emerging chief feature springs into action. The child thinks for instance, “I will stop life from hurting by taking control of my pain. I will hurt myself more than anybody else can.”

The child’s chosen survival strategy involves some sort of conflict, a war against self, against others or against life.

It is a defensive behaviour pattern which looks irrational from the outside but from the child’s perspective is perfectly rational. It is this way of acting which make up the negativity of the emerging chief feature in childhood.


Chief feature is a survival device, and one of its strongest hooks into the personality is the instilled conviction that you cannot survive without it. The lure of the chief feature is that when there is much stress and the circumstances are difficult, it will in fact get you through.

MICHAEL

Distortion of the life goal

Your life’s goal is one of the overleaves (http://personalityspirituality.net/articles/the-michael-teachings/articles/the-michael-teachings/overleaves-the-structure-of-personality/) chosen by your soul before incarnating. There are seven possible goals (Dominance, Growth, Acceptance, Surrender, Submission, Rejection and Retardation).
For the soul, the goal it chooses is a way to evolve through physical life. While we are incarnate, pursuing our goal offers a path to joy and fulfillment.
But for the chief feature, however, the urging of the goal is a threat to the personality’s survival strategy.
The life goal tends to seek greater love, truth and freedom, while the chief feature is like a parasite that feeds on fear, falsehood and self-limitation. Happiness itself is “part of the problem”— something to be feared and avoided as far as possible.
And so the chief feature, in its mindless, terrified way, convinces us that negativity is the only safe option. Higher principles such as truth, joy, freedom and love are incomprehensible to the chief feature and therefore not to be trusted.
The chief feature distorts the functioning of the goal as we make life choices. It mixes up our pure desire with our primitive fears. It interprets positive options as threats to our survival. It blinds us to the possibilities and makes our chances of fulfilment virtually impossible.

In attaching expectations and conditions to the goal, the chief feature “colors” it so that it cannot be recognized or it becomes acceptable only under certain very limited circumstances, often circumstances that are impractical at best, such as a young woman with genuine back problems who feels that the only way she can be worth anything in life is if she becomes a ballet dancer.

MICHAEL

In this way, the chief feature turns us away from the positive pole of our goal and towards its negative pole. For example:


If your goal is dominance, your soul may be desiring to show great leadership (the positive pole of dominance) but your chief feature manifests as dictatorship.
If your goal is acceptance, your soul’s desire is to learn how to accept others unconditionally but the effect of your chief feature will be ingratiation—begging to be accepted by others.
If your goal is growth, your soul’s desire is to have the sort of contrasting experiences that lead to great insight and comprehension, but the influence of your chief feature will merely lead you into confusion.

Image management


Coming of age—the transition from adolescent to adult—is a major turning point in anyone’s life. The prospect of leaving the family home and operating as a free agent in adult society is, in some ways, like starting life all over again.

Emerging adults need to feel safe and secure, just like infants. They need to assert themselves and discover their limits, just like toddlers. They need to be accepted by their peers, just like schoolchildren.

All of this can trigger a terrible fear, buried deep in their psyche, of repeating the same sort of painful experiences that happened in the first few years of life. The defensive strategy is designed to prevent this from happening.

However, the emerging adult faces a dilemma: I want to be an adult, and be seen as an adult. But my normal survival strategy is socially unacceptable — it makes me look like a child. I have to protect myself, but I also have to manage how others see me.


The solution is to develop a “spilt personality” — the childish fears, attitudes and negativity become locked away inside (to become the shadow), while a carefully managed public image is presented to the world (the persona).

One final final step, which happens more often than not, is when the young adult actually identifies with their own image or persona. In other words, they believe their own lie. Now the chief feature is a closed system, an almost inescapable cycle.

AGREED.. Definitely "THAT" GUY...

Sadly, those who have never had an experiences with such things, couldn't at all understand how they affect people... And that's ok.. But being dismissive and condescending serves no useful purpose.

As a result of such encounters with this phenomenon, most tend to already feel alone in how they are forced to deal with such things.. without being able to even talk about them for fear their "Loved ones" will rush them off to the funny farm.. I am in such a situation. I once tried to tell my family this phenomenon reached out to me, and they IMMEDIATELY took me to the hospital. I HATED THEM for doing that.

But I also got proof that I was physically fine, with a clean bill of health, leaving me with nothing but my claims of having had telepathic messages sent to me.. and a WHOLE LOT OF QUESTIONS.. (I didn't even TELL THEM that a "being" somehow manifested in my HOUSE!

When this being "Manifested" I IMMEDIATELY thought "Hologram".. Yet this "Hologram" appeared in my bedroom when I was alone, in the middle of the day... There was no one there, with the technology to manifest the HOLOGRAM ITSELF. It was very strange to put into terms I could grasp.. Yet there it was! To top it off, I was also receiving telepathic communications at the same time.. MIND BLOWING.. I knew I didn't just suddenly GET SICK.. But that someone was communicating with me. But WHO and HOW are they doing it? How can I be alone in my bedroom and have a T REX manifest right in front of me? Not only did it appear, but it moved side to side, to let me get a good look at it's features! My jaw was on the floor...

And one day, as suddenly as they began to speak to me? They said they had to go, and the phenomenon stopped. I am still trying to figure out how they did it! Mental "Illness" doesn't say goodbye, and literally leave ..Yet for MONTHS I had to please my family and go talk to a stranger to let them know I was "OK".. Yet I am left with the "Aftermath".. The knowledge that this was something real, that can interact with humans in ways that are staggering.

What does a SANE and intelligent person DO with that information?

I no longer CARE if people believe this stuff happens or not, but I DO care when others who have never experienced it, begin to belittle those that HAVE. Apparently there are MANY in this same situation. We're all TRYING to figure it out in ways that makes sense to us. Many of us are intelligent, and as such, having had an experience that forced them outside the box intrigues them. We didn't all just go insane one day, then spontaneously "GET WELL".. This stuff is REAL, and Shamans have been speaking about it since long before my time.. WHAT it is however.. is yet to be fully understood..

Interestingly enough, after having my own contact with what I called "et".. I posted something on facebook, and I asked if anyone else has had an experience with any "Strange" phenomenon.. (It seems that this phenomenon tends to include paranormal activity once it starts).. My cousin replied.. "Yeah, the et have been contacting me recently too! They do it all the time!" WWHHHHAAAATTTTT???!!!!!

My jaw hit the floor that she was so blunt about it. Yet once I clicked "LIKE" on her comment, she DELETED IT. She knows I saw it, she wanted me to know it WASN'T just me.. But it was apparent that SHE TOO, didn't want others to know, for fear of THEIR shallow reactions. And I see why. I was very RELIEVED to know however, that I was NOT the only one having this contact..

AGREED.. Definitely "THAT" GUY...

Sadly, those who have never had an experiences with such things, couldn't at all understand how they affect people... And that's ok.. But being dismissive and condescending serves no useful purpose.

As a result of such encounters with this phenomenon, most tend to already feel alone in how they are forced to deal with such things.. without being able to even talk about them for fear their "Loved ones" will rush them off to the funny farm.. I am in such a situation. I once tried to tell my family this phenomenon reached out to me, and they IMMEDIATELY took me to the hospital. I HATED THEM for doing that.
I feel for folks in that situation and it's one of the reasons I start threads like this. Most of my experiences came after I began pursuing these types of things, but it went much farther than I expected it would, and I knew there was no one who could or would understand my plight. It can and most certainly usually is a very solitary pursuit confronting these things and then having next to no one to talk to about it.


But I also got proof that I was physically fine, with a clean bill of health, leaving me with nothing but my claims of having had telepathic messages sent to me.. and a WHOLE LOT OF QUESTIONS.. (I didn't even TELL THEM that a "being" somehow manifested in my HOUSE!
What were the telepathic messages? Did they seen friendly or detrimental?

When this being "Manifested" I IMMEDIATELY thought "Hologram".. Yet this "Hologram" appeared in my bedroom when I was alone, in the middle of the day... There was no one there, with the technology to manifest the HOLOGRAM ITSELF. It was very strange to put into terms I could grasp.. Yet there it was! To top it off, I was also receiving telepathic communications at the same time.. MIND BLOWING.. I knew I didn't just suddenly GET SICK.. But that someone was communicating with me. But WHO and HOW are they doing it? How can I be alone in my bedroom and have a T REX manifest right in front of me? Not only did it appear, but it moved side to side, to let me get a good look at it's features! My jaw was on the floor...
Was the hologram projection the one doing the communicating or was it more of a visual presentation that went along with the telepathic communication? You say it was a T-Rex and most folks are going to jump to a negative reptilian assumption on this. How do you take this? Was the over all experience positive or negative?


And one day, as suddenly as they began to speak to me? They said they had to go, and the phenomenon stopped. I am still trying to figure out how they did it! Mental "Illness" doesn't say goodbye, and literally leave ..Yet for MONTHS I had to please my family and go talk to a stranger to let them know I was "OK".. Yet I am left with the "Aftermath".. The knowledge that this was something real, that can interact with humans in ways that are staggering.
I have a thread titled "holographicly projected human alien healers". My initial post is gone because I erased it. It's tough to share this kind of thing. You are really putting yourself out there.


What does a SANE and intelligent person DO with that information?
Indeed, it can be tough, lucky for me I was never asked or encouraged to be any kind of bequeather of knowledge. No need to be a teacher or guru and I was encouraged against doing so. I think in as far as I was concerned this was simply a lesson for those who were able to attend the class. Maybe this is the case for you as well.


I no longer CARE if people believe this stuff happens or not, but I DO care when others who have never experienced it, begin to belittle those that HAVE. I don't expect my family to believe it, or understand it, (I don't even claim as much)... therefore I do not discuss my contacts with this "phenomenon", with them at all. I know what I experienced, and it was not imagination or mental illness..

I will say this though, there are things one simply cannot share due to the paradigm shattering effects it has on others. When one's paradigms are threatened people get defensive and sometimes nasty, and I have learned long ago to keep these things to my self due to most folks simply not having the tool kit necessary to deal with this sort of thing.

Have you found any one else with similar experiences other than your cousin? For the most part I have not but I've always wanted to meet someone with similar experiences. I look forward to sharing some particulars to see if we have had interactions with the same folks.
