Yes as I said when I posted this on the UK Ground Crew forum yesterday Pie'n'eal, it's been a long time since there was a UK meet-up I think. Believe Morguna organised the last one in the West Country. Some have come and gone since then. Obviously, all depends on who lives where. I'm in Kent. London for some in the South East? Real people not cyberspace Avatars! Well the energy is supposed to really be coming in come June. Perhaps now is the time. Under the trees to dodge the black choppers... lol....

Hi there ..we met up last year's Uk gathering at Stone Henge and camps at the Barge Inn .there was about 10 of us I believe in total .I was nervous too .but we was a great time ,would love to do this again ..keep me informed who ever arranges this for UK. or Irealnd .

I drove over to that UFO convention in Phoenix a while back to meet Bill and Kerry 'n' friends in between speakers, but managed to show up right when they were in the middle of lunch, with a full table, and involved in a heavy discussion. Briefly weighed the options, and decided to bail instead of interrupt.

Would give Lord Sid's left nut to be able to hang with my Aussie brothers and sisters at their meet-up gig coming up. That will be one party that no one should drive home from. :hail:

Well I've been fortunate to meet up quite regularly with my NSW henchmen since the original inception of the ground crew going back to AV1. As a result we're now the best of mates and keep in constant contact as a collective. Any others in NSW interested to hook up (especially Sydney) PM me for further details. :)

Basically I'm willing to travel but London is just a bit too far off for me...somewhere in the West Country would be better.

I was thinking of a similar system, where avalonias would accommodate other avalonians if they need a place to stay.. Like if you were to visit my town for some reason, you could stay with me for free, I'd show you around, we could make dinner etc etc. PA of course stands for Project Avalon, not Pennsylvania or anything else.. :D

I wanted to clarify something. When I first posted this idea on the UK Ground Crew site, I suggested real people meeting up. That puts us in our power. If we now get the suggestion that someone else will be turning up, that may create a circus, but it wasn't what this thing was originally about. I'd imagine he has all the capabilities to create his own meeting - if he really wants to. This is getting all very interesting - is it going to be more of the same devision? How sad. That's why some UK Ground Crew members left in the first place. Let's keep our power please - or create two meetings. Feel free to PM me.
