Surely not. The small boy in the left foreground of the photo looks like he's on a mobile phone! How come he looks a bit different to the other spectators, with their hats and coats, in this 1939 picture of a football (soccer) match at Dean Court, Bournemouth.

The photo is from a 1939 brochure called 'Bournemouth - Britain's All Season Resort' and hasn't been altered,For the skeptics what else could this boy be doing most logical explanation he's itching his ear

Perhaps the boy is phoning the future with the bad news that the Bournemouth team are 2-0 down

Reminds me of the Charlie Chaplain footage of the supposed time traveler talking on a cell phone. There was technology available even in the '20s to make an ear horn look like a cell phone.

Hope this helps.

how can somebody be talking on a mobile phone without a mobile phone network (cell towers)?

It doesn't look like he might be scratching his face, then?

I think time travelling definitely happens, but this picture isn't at all suspicious imo. The child prolly has lice - or maybe a walkie talkie.

This may be a game of Soccer played somewhere in Croatia during the 30's and that's his uncle Nicola Tesla with his back to us.

I get this from the picture.. the boys scratching his cheek, and doesn't want his picture taken, he's also irritated he can't see over the taller man infront of him, he hates being so short...
