How To See A Ghost For Your Self
or
"The first time I ever intuitively sent energy into a ghost to make it more visible."




Have you ever done an open eye meditation? Eye movement instantly snaps you out of meditation, strangely, it is harder to keep your eyes still while they are closed, as such, open eye meditation works wonders. I get mine from Carlos Castaneda, my favorite is using a small pebble to stare at to exclusion of everything else. The pebble, especially granite, absorbs your energy and starts to feel like a part of you, making it a deeper, easier meditation.

After doing this for a while (each person is different), the pebble being filled with energy from staring at it becomes "wavy" in a short while, everything becomes "wavy", I do believe this is a field that connects all living things. I suppose that is debatable though. After doing this meditation for a few years. Thirteen to be exact, the following took place.

I was lying in bed, open eye meditating on the ceiling. I was staring at a piece of protruding stucco instead of a small pebble. The piece of stucco absorbed my energy, became wavy, and then the whole ceiling became wavy, like oil and water, pressured under glass.


I then saw a tether of sorts, coming down from the ceiling, what looked like the bottom of a old ragged cotton skirt, but more tentacle like. It was not unlike an eye floaty, except it was long.
Translucent and strangely searching. I normally blink stuff like this away. And I'm sure I could have done so this time as well, but some small part of me said go with it. So instead of shaking away the sight of this belt like appendage, creeping down from the ceiling, I went with it.

The apparition went away on it's own, so, I continued with my meditation. I didn't think anything too weird about it, but now I was noticing a red tint that was blinking on everything about once a second. I probably wouldn't have given it too much though, except it was on the tail end of this ceiling/tether apparition thingy.



I only barely noticed it, and thought with barely any significance that it must be my heart pumping blood into my retina. And then I saw a skeletal face in the red blinking tint. Yea, a skeletal face.

You know those guys who read way too much? I'm one of those guys. I'm not flattering myself here, I actually think it counter productive to read too much.

Well, regardless, I for some reason, knew that this was an entity straight out of the Tibetan book of the dead. A preta-loka. A hungry ghost.
Mind you I had never seen one before. I suspected they existed, but, I didn't know for sure. I had never seen anything like this before. As a neophyte in reiki I did something intuitive, I held out the palms of my hands and said "You don't have to take my energy, I'll give it to you". At this point, I sat up, the red blinking with the skeletal face was gone, and I could sense this thing, but I saw nothing.


I stretched my palms outward and began deep breathing and focusing on projecting energy out of my hands. I felt the energy leaving my palms. I then began to notice hands in front of my hands. The hands became more and more defined as the energy coming out of me, seemed to enter the hands, giving them form, at least as far as my eyes were concerned.
I continued in this manner for some time. My energy fleshed out the beings waist, torso, shoulders, neck and head. For the most part I saw no legs. The being was a male. He had bad habits that I reprimanded him for. For instance, he kept whipping behind me to try and take energy from my back. Now, I was doing a good job of keeping things in perspective and staying out of a fear state, but this motion of his creeped me out to no end. I told him to knock that **** off. He seemed to apologise and seemed to find it strange that his normal habituation's could now be seen.

I did a series of experiments. I gathered small objects. A stick pin, a writing pen, a feather, a piece of paper, a toy car. I asked him one by one if he could move them. He communicated before trying he would not be able to. But, he tried anyway, and no he didn't budge anything. Next I tried to combine my energy to his efforts, by holding my hands over the objects, giving his hands energy as he tried to move them. Nothing. I'm very happy with the results. As a result of these and other experiments, it is my opinion that ghosts can not move physical matter at all. And, that most poltergeist activity people report is actually just them feeling the presence of a ghost and attributing explainable phenomenon to the ghost.

As far as this interaction went, I will mention a couple of other things. First off, this ghost invited a girl ghost over he was trying to impress. Kind of like I was a fondue fountain and he was throwing a party or something. I could tell he was trying to impress this girl ghost just how he was differing to her and so eager to please her. I didn't care for the girl ghost, she wouldn't engage me, further, she kept sliding behind me, creeping me out. The girl ghost was a different color, which is weird, because I could see her as soon as she showed up, unlike the guy ghost, who I could only see after fleshing him out with energy. The girl ghost was white, and she seemed much older, like she was from the nineteen twenties.

One other thing I might mention. I tried the whole do gooder thing. I was trying to read him passages from the Tibetan book of the dead. He basically told me to stop wasting my breath. I will say, that, this being my first real ghost interaction, I doubt I did this dude any good, but, through subsequent trial and error, I've learned figuired-out, how to pass ghosts over to the other side. It's a bit of a ordeal, and the technique took some refining, but I can do it now with high proficiency. I might talk about that later.


Also, my nephew, who was two years old came over, and indicated by pointing in the corner of my living room ceiling, that he saw "a man". It was in fact the same being I've just described, and I found this perplexing to no end that he could see him with no problem at all.



As a last message, if you want to see a ghost for your self. And that's entirely up to you, (care full they may really like you after this).

After meditating and gaining stillness of mind, sit in complete darkness.
Ghosts are easiest to see in complete darkness. Willingly giving ghosts energy is an intoxicant most ghosts are incapable of refusing. So the palms facing outwards and projecting energy in the dark is a sure fire way to get some results. Most of the time what I see are red blobs of energy dancing about in front of me. Occasionally I'll get a full upper torso. It depends on how much energy I want to project.

Personally, I wouldn't give my energy away, but that's me, and I wasn't there to gauge the situation. You were, and you did.

I'd love to know how you send them over to the light. I hate the thought of lost souls, makes me feel sad for them.

I'd not give my own energy, but if you do wish to give them energy is it readily available in the divine river. Just stand in the river and be a conduit. Never just give your own energy, and YES they will like you, follow you, harass you. They never sleep and have the same bad habits they had as humans. There are other entities who were never human who love sexual, anger, rage, hate energy. Great post DNA. I have personally seen stuff move by ghosties. I also like to tell people who don't believe in ghosts that sometimes it's because of that very lack of belief they refuse to see them. I offer them the idea to believe and they will see them.

As soon as I read your statement, a memory came back to me from childhood, a memory of me telling everyone that I feel that I'm asleep all of a sudden, but I'm awake, feeling like I was in a dream. Of course all the adults had their explanation for example, 'oh you've been standing still too long go and play outside' ect ect......

These beings are probably eidolons (also know by many other names).
They are left-over astral shells. As we grow, the first higher body we develop is the astral or blood body. If this body is complete (crystallized) then it is able to reincarnate (this has nothing to do with your soul, which for most people, is not you). Reincarnations of the astral body are fairly rare because people on a spiritual path will go on to develop higher bodies and those that are not will fail to complete the astral body. When the village idiot is hit by a truck, his incomplete astral body may turn up at a seance, but unfortunately death doesn't make him an intellectual giant and his spiritual failure hardly qualifies him as an 'ascended master'. If you'll remember the beginning of the story,,,you'll recall that I was already being parasitized from the get go.
Think about that.
Let me give you my take on the situation now that I've been able to digest this information and make sense of it.

Ghosts feed on people,,,,and,,,,,some people are easier to feed on than others.
Me,,,I fall into that easy to feed on category,,,as such,,,I've come to realize that,,,I'm a bit of a haunted person.

All in all it equals out in the end,,,so don't feel sorry for me or anything.

That ghost that showed up at my room,,,,that wasn't the first time he was there.
If you recall,,,,,,,I told you that I practice open eye meditation,,,and use the portruding stucco on the ceiling as a focal point.

That ghost had left behind a fragment of astral energy,,,which is exceedingly pliable and sensitive to human energy. Along with the astral energy,,,he left behind a filiment so to speak,,,like,,,,a fishing line,,,or a spider web.
Sounds straight up diabolical doesn't it?
When I did my open eye meditation,,,it affected the astral fragment,,,,pulled on the filiment,,,and,,,,he decided to show up.
When I noticed him doing his passes over me,,and I saw red flashes that seemed to be timed with my heart beat,,,this was him passing over me,,,collecting my energy.
.
So I'm being fed on regardless.
But,,,,,,,here is the quesiton.
Do I feel worse by consiously giving it than I would by passivelly giving it?
Yes,,,in all honesty,,,,this is more depleting.
But,,,the information I've gathered makes it all very worthwhile.

For instance,,,,and I can't stress this enough.
When I first had interactions like the one described above.
I did not know 100% if it was a ghost or not.
I thought it was,,,,,but,,,,,,I knew I could be wrong.
What if it was,,,,some kind of astral demon or,,,,well,,,,who knows?
My experiments continued.
And I had more interactions and more data.
But,,,,,,,,,after about two years of this,,,,I had another experience.
And this experience,,was unlike any of the one's I had ever had before.

I certainly don't want to put anybody off by my oversharing.
But,,,,I also want to relate experience as it happened,,and not spare would could be usefull in as so much that it truelly relates with everything.
So,,,ready or not here I come.
As a thirty one year old healthy male,,,,I occasionally had to relieve myself before going to sleep. And I'm not talking about going to the bathroom.
During which,,,I noticed I had an astral presence making itself involved.
(And don't think for a second I'm alone in having a spector spectator in this event/action, if it's happened to me it's happened to ya all as well)
Sexual energy is probably one of the most powerfull energies humans produce,,,so,,,it only makes sense really.
I couldn't get to sleep,,so,,I started to interact with this ghost.
Through sheer dumb luck,,,and I will repeat this,,,,through sheer dumb luck,,,,,a pinkish astral light entered the room.
A being, or presense became apparent to me other than the ghost.
It was not a ghost.
It was like nothing I'd ever seen before.
It wasn't personified in a human esque body like this ghost was.
it was,,,,,,,,,just there.
So here I have,,,,,a ghost,,,,and a higher presense,,,and a (as far as astral lights go) bright pinkish energy in the room.
I was curious beyond belief.
I really wanted to know what this was.
So,,,I refocused my third eye by doing an open eye meditaiton so that I could see the universal energy field pulsing over everything material in my view.
I did this in hopes of getting a better view of the other non-ghost presense.
With the pink astral light still in the room,,,,,,,,instead what I saw was a perfect picture in the universal field pulsating on the ceiling.
And I mean to tell you,,,a perfect picture.
A snap shot of a mid-thirties latina woman with a Betty Page haircut, strong jaw line pretty brown eyes.
The presense indicated to me that this image was a gift.
A gift for my unintended help.
I didn't know it at the time,,but I had just helped a ghost cross over to the other side.
I suspected it, and it took a bit more experimenting over the years to know for sure, but yea,,I helped this ghost pass over to the other side.
The presense never personified itself with a face or a voice.
I stared at the image of the woman on my ceiling,,and then I went to sleep.
.
I never thought anything of the image.
I had never seen anything like it before.
Most of the time,,,with ghosts,,,,even if I charge them a bit,,,their faces are never clear to me. Body, head and shoulder outlines.
So lunch break comes along at work and I'm in the lunch room eating,,,,,looking through the classifieds hunting for used cars.
I never go to the obituaries,,but,,,on an accidental whim the page fell open and low and behold,,,,,you guessed it,,,,there is the picture of the woman with the Betty Page hair cut,,,,and it was unmistakablly her. Unmistakable to me anyways.
The gift from the presense wasn't the picture,,,,,it was the knowledge,,,,that this WAS in fact a ghost,,,and that my perceptions in this matter were correct.
It also showed that through interactions with ghosts,,,you could help them to cross over.
This led to me working on the cross over technique,,,which I refined and pretty much mastered three years after this.
Wow,,,that was a lot of writing.
The cross over technique will have to wait.

I've heard what you are talking about before.
And,,,at one point I used to give credence to this and think this may in fact account for some of what I'm seeing.
I don't think so anymore.
My experiences are of farily sentient,cognizant and autnomous entities.
But that's just my personal experience,,,your personal experiences are what should guide you on your own personal quest. :)

It's my opinion that people who get into a habit of stealing other people's energy,,and,,,happen to be the best at it,,,are ussually the ones to turn into ghosts.
I don't think a ghost taking your energy is all that much diferent than a person taking it.

And besides,,,,I'm not suggesting for people to become permenent ghost power stations or anything,,,,,,I'm merely providing an exploratory method for people to know from first hand experience that these things exist.

As far as Castaneda goes.
I'm a huge Castaneda fan. I've read his books in triplicate,,I attended a seminar in northern arizona with Florinda Donnar, Taisha Abelar, Carol Tiggs and the Chacmools back in 93'. At one point in the woods there I rounded a blind corner and myself and Florinda Donner ran right into each other. We stood there for like ten seconds just looking at eachother, I excused myself, but she kept looking at me with those penetrating eyes, it was a cool experience.

That being said though,,,,,,you, me, and everyone else here we are all going to die. Castaneda,,,who was trying to follow in the footsteps of Don Juan and attempt to live forever so to speak, did not in anyway escape this world,,he died as well.
For what it's worth as well, Carol Tiggs, Florinda Donner and Taisha Abelar (his cohorts so to speak) all commited suicide a year or two after his death.
So,,,,,I'm just saying,,,we are on our own.
There is only our self to instruct us,,,and in the end,,,we are all going to die.
I really loved Castaneda's work.
For me,,,,there probably is no greater influence.
But,,,,,,,I don't subscribe to the idea I'm getting out of here alive.
On the contrary,,,,I subscribe to the reincarnational model outlined by Chelsea Quin Yarbro in "The Michael Teachings" 3 books,,,and Jane Roberts "Seth Material".
The Urantia book is right on in many areas as far as I'm concerned,,,and amazingly enough,,agrees with Castaneda on the important princible known as "intent" which is called "the personal adjuster" in the Urantia book.

The Cross Over Technique




After post #11, I realized that my energy could help ghosts cross over.
The being embodying or accompanying the pinkish astral light had given me an important personal revelation, (that the beings I thought were ghosts, were in fact ghosts). A validation that I needed.
Now I could interact with them and have no fear.
Knowledge is power my freinds, and no knowledge can ever replace first hand experiential data.


I fudged up a lot of cross over opputunities before I latched on to, a key phrase and singular objective.
The key phrase? "Acknowledge the possibility that you do not know everything". And the singular objective? Introduce them to a loved one who desperatly wants to help them and who knows all of their pains and wrongs and forgives them and wants to talk with them. Once you get them to this point it's out of your hands.


They key phrase helps, because ghosts have already been approached by someone and rejected them, and the only reason they would have done that, is because they are absolutely positive about something that they are in error of.
As such, I have found that instead of asking a bunch of stupid questions, empathizing wth them, and trying to play arm chair psychologist with a ghost, I can bypass all of that by simply offering up the simple and reasonable mantra. "Acknowledge the possibility that you do not know everything".
How do I get them to play along? Well, the request is reasonable enough, you must admit. But, I do pull the old bait and switch routine. :)
You see, I could tell you interaction starts off with me giving the ghost energy in a Reiki like manner, but that wouldn't be the full truth really.
The truth of the matter is this.
I notice the ghost fluttering around me, intoxicating itself with my energy.
And I then make the best of a bad situation.
I wait until I am alone and can pull the shades shut, or it is night time.
I then give the ghost my energy through the palms of my hand.
I then ask the ghost to repeat the key phrase or I will stop giving it energy.
I can feel when the ghost complies.
There is a change in their demeanor.
I can't help but to feel wether the ghost is pissed off or hurt and wounded.
I'm an empath, I'm not telepathic.
But the empathic gauge is all I need.
Either way they want to be understood.
So this is what I say next.
"Imagine there is someone who has known you since you were a baby, this person loves you and understands your pain and wants to help you. This person forgives you and has comfort for you. All you have to do is agree to talk to them."


I might say this a few more times, depending on the situation bringing out of me a slight differing variation, but they are all in this aim.


When the spirit agrees that they would like to talk to someone a gateway or portal opens up, and a pinkish astral light fills the room.
The portal/visitor does not really interact with me, I ussually have the mental visual of watching two people walking down a tunnel, lit by pinkish light.


I then feel that all of my energy that was expended in bringing the ghost to understanding has been replenished, and then some.

In passing let's mention 'asking spirits for advice'.
When a developed person dies, their higher body (of whatever level) and their soul are gone and not available to psychics or at seances. If their complete astral body reincarnates (normally considered failure, but they may have their reasons) they are also not available to psychics. When the village idiot is hit by a truck, his incomplete astral body may turn up at a seance, but unfortunately death doesn't make him an intellectual giant and his spiritual failure hardly qualifies him as an 'ascended master'. I tend to have a record of working with those who should be gone, want to be gone, but are not gone -due to death issues. Some of them have a considerable amount of energy that needs to be *cough*...balanced out in some way.

Which is why the unrepentant tend to stay away. I can pick their sorry asses up and put them into the light. Recall that a spirit may want to step inside you. I do the same to them. That door works both ways. Ouch. The unrepentant have their own decisions to make, so this is not done. But ---it can be.

On open eye meditation - I've done this a few times but I've done it by staring into my own eyes in a mirror for a period of 20 - 30 minutes. The experience was very similar to the results you related in your first post. Things not only became wavy but seemed to have constantly shifting colors pulsating through them. The other occurrence in this was that my eyes stayed quite fixed but my face would wave in and out of different forms in the mirror. A wiccan once told me I was viewing variations of myself in past lives. I've had several friends try it with similar results despite them not being particularly inclined to such things.

Anyone had experience with this or can shed some light on the phenomenon?

in missing children's cases looking at a picture of their eyes could connect me to some, others needed to be searched for, some through dreams, other times I would search through suspects the same way.

once connected to one led to others in the family, which most missing children cases are involved with.

How To See A Ghost For Your Self

Have you ever done an open eye meditation? Eye movement instantly snaps you out of meditation, strangely, it is harder to keep your eyes still while they are closed, as such, open eye meditation works wonders. I get mine from Carlos Castaneda, my favorite is using a small pebble to stare at to exclusion of everything else. The pebble, especially granite, absorbs your energy and starts to feel like a part of you, making it a deeper, easier meditation.

After doing this for a while (each person is different), the pebble being filled with energy from staring at it becomes "wavy" in a short while, everything becomes "wavy", I do believe this is a field that connects all living things. I suppose that is debatable though. After doing this meditation for a few years. Thirteen to be exact, the following took place.

I was lying in bed, open eye meditating on the ceiling. I was staring at a piece of protruding stucco instead of a small pebble. The piece of stucco absorbed my energy, became wavy, and then the whole ceiling became wavy, like oil and water, pressured under glass.


I then saw a tether of sorts, coming down from the ceiling, what looked like the bottom of a old ragged cotton skirt, but more tentacle like. It was not unlike an eye floaty, except it was long.
Translucent and strangely searching. I normally blink stuff like this away. And I'm sure I could have done so this time as well, but some small part of me said go with it. So instead of shaking away the sight of this belt like appendage, creeping down from the ceiling, I went with it.

The apparition went away on it's own, so, I continued with my meditation. I didn't think anything too weird about it, but now I was noticing a red tint that was blinking on everything about once a second. I probably wouldn't have given it too much though, except it was on the tail end of this ceiling/tether apparition thingy.



I only barely noticed it, and thought with barely any significance that it must be my heart pumping blood into my retina. And then I saw a skeletal face in the red blinking tint. Yea, a skeletal face.

You know those guys who read way too much? I'm one of those guys. I'm not flattering myself here, I actually think it counter productive to read too much.

Well, regardless, I for some reason, knew that this was an entity straight out of the Tibetan book of the dead. A preta-loka. A hungry ghost.
Mind you I had never seen one before. I suspected they existed, but, I didn't know for sure. I had never seen anything like this before. As a neophyte in reiki I did something intuitive, I held out the palms of my hands and said "You don't have to take my energy, I'll give it to you". At this point, I sat up, the red blinking with the skeletal face was gone, and I could sense this thing, but I saw nothing.


I stretched my palms outward and began deep breathing and focusing on projecting energy out of my hands. I felt the energy leaving my palms. I then began to notice hands in front of my hands. The hands became more and more defined as the energy coming out of me, seemed to enter the hands, giving them form, at least as far as my eyes were concerned.
I continued in this manner for some time. My energy fleshed out the beings waist, torso, shoulders, neck and head. For the most part I saw no legs. The being was a male. He had bad habits that I reprimanded him for. For instance, he kept whipping behind me to try and take energy from my back. Now, I was doing a good job of keeping things in perspective and staying out of a fear state, but this motion of his creeped me out to no end. I told him to knock that **** off. He seemed to apologise and seemed to find it strange that his normal habituation's could now be seen.

I did a series of experiments. I gathered small objects. A stick pin, a writing pen, a feather, a piece of paper, a toy car. I asked him one by one if he could move them. He communicated before trying he would not be able to. But, he tried anyway, and no he didn't budge anything. Next I tried to combine my energy to his efforts, by holding my hands over the objects, giving his hands energy as he tried to move them. Nothing. I'm very happy with the results. As a result of these and other experiments, it is my opinion that ghosts can not move physical matter at all. And, that most poltergeist activity people report is actually just them feeling the presence of a ghost and attributing explainable phenomenon to the ghost.

As far as this interaction went, I will mention a couple of other things. First off, this ghost invited a girl ghost over he was trying to impress. Kind of like I was a fondue fountain and he was throwing a party or something. I could tell he was trying to impress this girl ghost just how he was differing to her and so eager to please her. I didn't care for the girl ghost, she wouldn't engage me, further, she kept sliding behind me, creeping me out. The girl ghost was a different color, which is weird, because I could see her as soon as she showed up, unlike the guy ghost, who I could only see after fleshing him out with energy. The girl ghost was white, and she seemed much older, like she was from the nineteen twenties.

One other thing I might mention. I tried the whole do gooder thing. I was trying to read him passages from the Tibetan book of the dead. He basically told me to stop wasting my breath. I will say, that, this being my first real ghost interaction, I doubt I did this dude any good, but, through subsequent trial and error, I've learned figuired-out, how to pass ghosts over to the other side. It's a bit of a ordeal, and the technique took some refining, but I can do it now with high proficiency. I might talk about that later.


Also, my nephew, who was two years old came over, and indicated by pointing in the corner of my living room ceiling, that he saw "a man". It was in fact the same being I've just described, and I found this perplexing to no end that he could see him with no problem at all.



As a last message, if you want to see a ghost for your self. And that's entirely up to you, (care full they may really like you after this).

After meditating and gaining stillness of mind, sit in complete darkness.
Ghosts are easiest to see in complete darkness. Willingly giving ghosts energy is an intoxicant most ghosts are incapable of refusing. So the palms facing outwards and projecting energy in the dark is a sure fire way to get some results. Most of the time what I see are red blobs of energy dancing about in front of me. Occasionally I'll get a full upper torso. It depends on how much energy I want to project.

I agree that when you fix your vision you will begin to see anonomalies, but I wouldn't be quick to assign past lives as an explanation.
I wouldn't personally stare into a mirror. Castaneda used a mirror as instructed by his naguel teacher Don Juan to view beings in an alternate dimension, non-organic beings. Castaneda's naguel teacher even told a story about how one of these things used a mirror as a portal into this world after the mirror was used as a meditation focus.
These beings are unpredictable and have more manifestation than ghosts.
Poltergiest activity is not something I attribute to ghosts, but, something I would more attribute to beings like this.
I have heard other shamanic peoples talk about mirrors being used as portals as well.
Nostrodamous used a mirror to gaze into the future and this is the source of his quantraines.
Nostrodamous used water over the top of the mirror, and strangely enough, this was very much like the method used by Castaneda and his mentor.

I think the most fantastic and immediate results from the open eye meditation are in conjuction with shadow gazing.
Put a small rock on the ground in the day light and focus on the shadow.
I don't know how to explain it, but the shadow will become more real than the world around you.
The shadow becomes a void and it sounds incredible, but the shadow seems to be the source of all that is accociated with it.

Thank you for this post DNA, and your recent linking to it. I used the technique despite not being sensitive (can't see or feel ghosts at all), but my chica is and she related teary eyed an account that I would swear she had read yours, a beautiful experience of crossing over.

She (& my dog) let me know (by looking at them) when there's one around. Tonight I asked what the purpose of its presence was, told her to do the same, she did...I think she (the ghost) heard me anyway. I told her she might not be correct about everything, that I loved her and forgave her, and showed her by example by forgiving myself.

My girl said it was wonderful, she never saw anything like it, or felt such a release from anyone. Was intense experience.

And, I tried with another one she saw later (we got issues, our baggage had baggage), but it didnt work out so good. Honestly, I think I just guided my gf through it and really didnt have a direct hand the first time, just helped my girl empower herself. She had fallen a bit into a fear state the second time (small boy she says, that I irratated and he rolled, but not crossed over).

Ghosts are not that smart and are not going to give you any useable information or any insights into the spiritual reality.
This exercise is an exercise in validation and that is all.

I can sense their presence most of the time and have actually walked right into one where I felt my whole body tingle and got very chilled as it went through me. Also about 12 years ago, I had one actually sitting on top of me holding me down ~ that one scared the s**t out of me to say the least but since then for some reason, I think I have rid myself of alot of fears and I only attract the "non-parasitic" ones.
I will definitely have to tell you about my experiences sometime, I am interested in understanding more about this.

I don't consider my experience an open eye meditation but I do believe my right eye suggest a gateway to another realm. In 2004 I had an intense kundalini energy release that lasted 4 months. I won't go into details about the whole experience but someday I will write a thread about this cosmic energy. Anyhow the residue of that experience left me with an awareness of my right eye being a gateway or visionary portal where I can see energetic entities. The last time this happened was in July 2012 when I was on the phone at night. I was not meditating when suddenly my right eye starts becoming blurry and I thought that the cream I had put on my face had dripped down into my eye. I cleared my eye and I couldn't stop the blurry, wavy, growing energy emanating from my right eye. Instead of being afraid I decided to lie down and enjoy the experience. The rays of energies emanating from my eye appeared to be traveling outwardly as if they were destined to a precise direction. This experience lasted about 20-25 minutes.

This is a fascinating post and thread. I just wanted to reply because reading it gave me a strong feeling that you should be very careful about your energy levels. I hear what you say, that they were feeding off you enyway, but by consciously donating, they may be able to take much more of your energy. Also you may be leaving yourself more open, and you might get drained, with disastrous consequences.

If I were you (which I am not) I would be thinking about trying to heal the gap this may have left in your luminous body- remember what Castenada said about the way death comes to us through this gap. If we can't close it, we are in mortal peril.

I am in the rural area and has been told by my meditation teacher there are also very 'negative beings' around here, so I won't want to invite those guys into my shelter. In fact, we have to do certain rituals like chanting to protect ourselves too.

I believe doing it randomly can be dangerous. Sometimes, if we are unlucky and attracts a powerful one, our health is going to deteriorate as our energy gets vampired away without our knowledge because we opened the door for them to come in.

I will stick to meditation to increase my own vibration and not send energy out to strangers for the purpose of interaction, although I have no doubts that it can work. If any, it will just be love. Once the 3rd eye finally gets activated, we won't have to send out energy to be able to see them anymore. And when that happens, desperate ghosts are going to be drawn to us without us doing anything.

The average ghosts are simply beings who just need a reason to move on, without a physical body. They are always looking for help. Once they know a person wants to help them, and that s/he is capable, word is going to spread. Some will be sure to bring a whole gang to visit once we have helped one of them. Those who have been there often will want to draw a line after it becomes a burden, unless one actually enjoys doing it...

The chills, tingles, hair raising on your arms, the chill down the nape of your neck. These are all the tell tale signs.
I don't doubt your experiences. This is all far more common than folks think it is in my opinion.

I would guess this was while you were awaking? The old hag syndrome. I would not think it was actually holding you down in the physical sense with weight, rather, it was performing a manuever where your astral body was not able to fully immerse back into your body's energy matrix, and as such you regained consiousness but not physical mobility. It's scary, I've had the happen more than a few times.
It's always temporary, these folks are feeding on the resulting fear. And enjoying the last vestige of influence they have on our realm.


I think I have rid myself of alot of fears and I only attract the "non-parasitic" ones.

I don't know what to say here. A non-parasitic would be one that crossed over, and if it did, it is for all intents and purposes an angel, and not a ghost. Any ghost that has not crossed over is in fact parasitic.


I will definitely have to tell you about my experiences sometime, I am interested in understanding more about this.

At age 17 me and my family moved into a new nieghborhood, a new house. I took the attic room. After being there for a month and a half, my mother, myself,my sister and one of my best freinds we were all convinced the house was haunted. There was a constant sense of something watching you in that house, it was,,,, unnerving.

At times the presence would be so powerfull the only metaphor that works is that it felt like it was screaming at me to get out of it's house! It felt like it was right up on me, screaming at me!

After being in the house for a couple of months, we became aquainted with our next door neighbor, a jolly talkative woman in her late twenties who was pregnant at the time. After becoming aquainted she wasted no time in telling us that the previous occupant of the house had run into some trouble with the law, didn't wanna go to prison, and had hung himself, in the attic room, which was now my bedroom.


After being there for about seven months, I had this lucid dream.
I am convinced this dream led to the ghost crossing over or gaining its liberation if you will.

HERE IS THE DREAM
I was on my way home, walking back from a friends house. I was walking through small suburb streets that were traffic free and houses lined both sides of the road, it was fall and I realized I was dreaming. Immediatly after I realized I was dreaming, a short, smallish built gentleman in his late fifties approached me. I never saw his face. He was wearing a field workers hat they would wear in Mexico with a colorfull blanket draped over his shoulders. The man never spoke a word to me, and yet he demanded my attention. He was exactly how I imagined Don Juan to look like from the Carlos Castaneda books.

Instead of saying anything, he pointed in my direction, I felt a visceral sensation as his pointed finger was seemed to grab at my midsection. Then, as if after having grabbed me by pointing at my midsection he turned and pointed in another direction, and I had the feeling of being flung. As his arm pivoted towards this other direction, I experienced a wooshing sound, like I was in the middle of a cyclone, and after his arm stopped moving, we were transported to my bedroom at the foot of my bed.

Before I had a chance to ask what we were doing in my bedroon he loaded up his pointed finger, turned his arm towards my bed, the wooshing sound took place again, and instead of my bed there was a cocoon with a moldy corpse inside of it, kind of looked like a mummy that had been unwrapped.

At this point, I felt an "ah ha" in my heart area, and I turned to him and said, "ohhhhh you want me to wake him up". (Don't ask me how I knew this, I just did).

So I put my hands palm down on the cocoon, and started rocking it back and forth, it was as if I was waking up some one who was sleeping by gently rocking them: after moving the cocoon back and forth like you would rock a baby in a cradle. It didn't take long before the corpse gained a sense of elasticity in the skin and rather than dead the dude just looked old.
After rocking him for only a little bit longer, the cocoon disapeared and I put my hands on the old man. He was starting to gain more and more elasticity in his skin and body. He then became animated and he was talking to himself like he was dreaming. After a little while longer with my palms on him he gained youth and looked about 28. He was now very alive looking but irratated, and perturbed, like he would be if I was waking him up out of bed from a regular sleep. He finally roused and said "what, what do you want"?

Now it was my turn to use the wooshing pointed finger arm motion gesture. I pointed at him and then pivoted until I was pointing at a pregnant woman at the foot of my bed. And when the woosh was over, the pregnant woman was standing before us, and the 28 year old guy was standing beside me when I told him "you have to wake up, you have to wake up guy, because you have to be born".



At this point the Don juan dream guide, or spirit guide, or higher self ( I don't think he was my guide, I think he was the guide of the ghost in my room),,,approached the man and they began to talk.

At this point I was appreciating the lucidness of the dream I was having, I kept staring at my hands and then staring at the walls. And then, I don't know why I did this, I jumped out the window of my two story house. I stared at my hands and my bare feet as I fell in slow motion. The 28 year old healthy vibrant dark haired man who used to be a ghost and Don Juan were looking over the side of the open window down at me while I was falling. The 28 year old asked, why is he doing that?(Refering to my slow motion fall off the roof) And the Don Juan, of whom this is the only thing I heard him say to me through the whole dream replied in a resigned, exasperated tone, "because,,, he's an idiot".

As a last note, I never ever felt the unnerving presence in my house after that, and I never heard any one else note of the presence after this either.
I really think that ghost went on to be born, and he never bothered any one in my house again. :)

On open eye meditation - I've done this a few times but I've done it by staring into my own eyes in a mirror for a period of 20 - 30 minutes. The experience was very similar to the results you related in your first post. Things not only became wavy but seemed to have constantly shifting colors pulsating through them. The other occurrence in this was that my eyes stayed quite fixed but my face would wave in and out of different forms in the mirror. A wiccan once told me I was viewing variations of myself in past lives. I've had several friends try it with similar results despite them not being particularly inclined to such things.

Anyone had experience with this or can shed some light on the phenomenon?See Louis Hay's book, Mirror Work: 21 Days to Heal Your Life. This is a great little book about staring into your own eyes and speaking to the very young version of yourself, that person that existed prior to the higher institution's programming of our minds.

About mature spirits being gone and not available to psychics, that's incorrect in my experience. I'm not a psychic, I'm an experiencer, but if they're available to me then it makes sense they are to psychics too. Spirits can also move physical objects and interact in pretty dynamic ways, I'm still talking about the ones who have crossed over.

An experience of mine as an example of how they can interact -

I reached out to a young man who had just died a couple of days previously. I was convinced he'd been murdered, so I told him what I thought, I told him I was sorry that had happened to him and then I asked him to let me know if there was anything I could help him with.

I then laid down and closed my eyes to focus on receiving any messages from him. After a few moments I was suddenly standing outside on the road in front of my house, looking up at the night sky (this was during the day). I noticed two stars which were much brighter than the rest and then my attention was drawn to the star on the left, which pulsed brighter for a second (I understood this to be showing me him entering here from the other side). The next instant I was back laying on my bed and I watched the spirit of the man I had addressed walk through the bedroom door. He then instantly put me to sleep (with consent from my HS, so I have no problem with spirits taking such liberties) and we spoke in private in a small wooden room. We hadn't been speaking for long when he had to leave. I pestered him to stay longer but he insisted he had to go right then, he then left and I woke up.

That evening I addressed the spirit again and apologised for pestering him to stay and thanked him for coming. I then walked out of my bedroom, down the hallway and into the dining area. My son was doing his homework at the table, which was in line with that end of the hallway. My son asked, "did you hear that?". I didn't hear anything and asked him what he heard. He said he heard footsteps coming down the hallway. He heard a few steps, looked at the hallway and couldn't hear them or see anything, then he looked away and heard a couple of more footsteps closer to him but still in the hallway, and then he looked up again, saw me walk out of the bedroom and begin walking down the hallway.

I then sat at the table, with my boyfriend in the kitchen behind me. My boyfriend was making a coffee when the tin of coffee slid out of his hands across the kitchen bench. He immediately called to me and told me what happened. The tin is 17 centimetres tall and 13 centimetres in diameter (I measured it for this post), so it's a decent sized object. I was still facing the kitchen when my boyfriend turned away for a moment, this time nothing was touching the tin, and the tin began sliding across the bench again, I alerted my boyfriend and he witnessed the tin slide and come to a stop.

At that point I told my son and boyfriend that I had just been talking to the spirit. How playful of him, I took that as a "don't sweat it Rach, oh and hi everybody".

I'm not sure if you are quoting me here, but I would like to respond.
There are different methods for interacting with a spirit and we have to acknowledge that before we continue.
For an earth bound spirit, their presence is tactile, they are there, they are in your proximity. They can touch you. You can touch them, it isn't like touching a person with a body, but it has it's own sensation.
For a spirit that has gone to the other side they are not usually present, they are not usually in your proximity, you usually can not touch them and they can not touch you. Communication is telephone like, it can be done but the person you would be talking to is no longer limited by their human constraints.

There is a division between our world and the other side. I could get into this but suffice to say there is a reason people travel through a tunnel upon death, and it is this same tunnel you have to communicate through when talking to people who have passed and are on the other side.

So that leads to what I can do. I'm highly empathic and I've developed my third eye to the point I can see into the etheric. I can communicate with earth bound ghosts with far more proficiency than I can with ghosts that have passed to the other side.
This leads me to the Missing 411 books.
I absolutely believe you can reach out to folks who are earthbound by becoming intimate with certain details about them especially mentioning their name.
Reading the Missing 411 books was a very painful experience for me. While reading the books I would stop often and weep, especially for the children and parents who would never see them again. There were times I would put the books down and contemplate never picking them up again. After awhile I began to realize one of the reasons I felt so affected by these books was because there were entities showing up while I was reading these works. As it turns out, the fact Paulides has the names and intimate details written down about these folks allows one to kind of summon them. And I do not think this is a good thing.
Especially in terms of so many readers possibly bothering these folks. So I agree with your experience in terms of how this can be done.

What you explain is something I've never experienced.
I'm guessing you might actually be psychic, this sounds much more like a psychic interaction and it is my guess that the more psychic you are the easier it is to talk to folks on the other side.
Ghosts on the other side from what I've seen don't look at our world as solid as we do, and much like Neo from the Matrix, they seem to be able to bend the natural laws with little or no problem. Did a ghost appear in your kitchen and push a tin of coffee across a table, or did an infinitely more aware and powerful being intend this to happen from another dimension? Both are very possible.

I wonder what the difference between a psychic and an experiencer is, maybe I'm a bit of both at times. I don't control my psychic experiences though, for the most part, it just happens. Psychics appear to be able to draw on it at any time. Of all the times I'm successful at achieving a set objective, like with the experience in my previous post, there's likely at least five to ten times I'm not, I may just get some vague, unhelpful visions and that's about it.

DNA, I was going through your related posts which discuss parasitic-beings. This thread on ghosts feels a little like creatures dealt with in gardening, (now that i grow more of my food). I dealt less with Castanada’s previews of psychic entities, mixing also through ranges from Steiner’s Bio Dynamics and on through back yard sciences (and other things as well). It has all moderately integrated for me, keeping me independent from breaking down, like compost of the grand eco-scheme of entity recycling. The whole predation-parasitism-commensalism-symbiosis seems way out of alignment, on this world, as ecocide appears like a last resort of the failing kontrollers. The hierarchy appears to have a whole new chapter, however, as eventually i want to explain it further.

I grew up with all kinds of ghost ideas suggested and demonstrated, in a country of archeology and big intellectual ideas. Yet i gravitated more to being a nature boy, playing hooky and daydreaming through too many classes. The psychedelics of the 60s-70s slanted it further for me too, besides The Viet Nam War. Other-world influences seemed evident in all these but never strictly specialized or singled out for me. Sure, many of these try to pull one in more exclusively, but i kept putting a foot in other doors. The cords your threads mentioned seem a lot like ’taplines’, (graphically filmed int the movie ‘matrix’), as an extensive network of energy farming/extraction. More than just an intellectual idea, it is a dream quest process for me. Besides a series of books, Youtubes, MP3s and Skypes… It is an agreement to explore higher states with guides vs recycling back into lower realms endlessly. Meaning to understand the realm of creation as a lower realm, which was created by the accepted creators (authoritarians) and as distinct from freer realms of self creation, beyond~&~ above those. I doubt that all the complex steps, which i built up for myself, are needed by another person, but these have suited me well.

He is not the great intellect, nor the religionist, nor cultist, nor showman, etc… He was chosen and prepared for lifetimes by what he introduces as The Real Universal Guides… Apparently external beings outside of this galactic-universe who come, somewhat like the mythic Yuga, to accept humans who step up, successively out of this cause and effect realm of creation. Duane was chosen to present this “real connection”, for the natural risk taker who simply steps up. (As he explained it, no others volunteered for this particular mission, lifetimes ago).

There is a part of the mortal coil, an energetic portion that dies with the physical body. This is why ghosts may haunt graveyards in my opinion because they are feeding on these decomposing energy bodies that stay with the physical body. The waking moving soul that does not pass through the tunnel of light but instead stays on earth is immortal. The mortal parts that decompose so to speak are not animated in anyway what so ever. The key in understanding this is that 99% of the time these other energetic bodies are not animated when still part of the fully alive human coil. Activating these other bodies has been reported by mystics and the occasional drug user, they require energy for activation, energy that is normally used up by our Archon attachments.

I personally do not view the archon attachment as reptilian, I would rather view the reptilians as another race who are also affected by archon attachment.

I do agree there seems to be a major connection point at the base of the brain, the cerebellum. If someone is attempting to free their other energetic bodies it seems an attack will often hit the mystic through this connection to their cerebellum.

Let all life show us. Stretches the meaning of guru, to all life.

I find in personal practice when speaking to or visiting with my visitors they are merely trying to find the right flow again. We turned our backs by accident on this part of living and it put a big and cold gap filled with a lot of confusion for them. I walked one night with an older woman, though she was the spirit of such a bright and vivacious life, she was very matter of fact. She said, "Where have you all been, do you know how long we have been waiting." her emotional connection was one of concern, love, and loss. I stopped and just surrounded us with what I like to call my motherly love. It just loves all on its own and it protects, I felt her lighten and joy and a smile I could not stop for the rest of the night spread across my face. Her parting message, "Well it is about time you all show up." I do not grasp words as much as I grasp the intent of an emotional driven conversation. I feel this is one of the ways they prefer, it is often as if they are throwing their hands up in the air and catering to our ignorance of the need of words. Humor is there as it is here. They do not have to draw power from us, they have their own, it is what they are. What else are we but energy in the end. Confusion in the generations and our ancestors because we removed ourselves from the natural process has created great confusion. Listen with hearts and protect your energy with love, it is a universal language that it understood and is like saying, "Hello!." Instead of the normal fear greeting they get which is, "EEE GO AWAY!" I have found with an open mind and open heart, that even the darker shadows, can be cleared. It is not for everyone. If your feeling drained, I suggest what I call a love bubble, yes its silly but simple is easy to understand for anyone and sometimes we have to help others with very little explanation right away. So imagine your favorite safest memory where you were loved and safe create this space around you with that memory as the anchor. Expand it as far as you feel comfortable. You can work with this idea in so many different ways and fine tune it to your own needs. It travels well to people you are attached to. This is your emotional energy intent, like that palpable fear or mob mentality instead your using something you control. Emotions are easily chosen with practice. Who can really make us mad? No one. That is the greatest power that we possess and we give it away every time we become someones emotional tool. If I kick you in the knee, you can get mad like I want you to and then I control that moment, or you can choose another path. This is a tool I can not express enough that is important for our future. We must take responsibility for our emotional reactions and not be manipulated.

It reminds me of the moment in Labyrinth. "Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child that you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom is as great... You have no power over me."

Wow what a trip. I wrote this thread ten years ago. The events described in the opening post happened ten years before that. So I'm reading this thread and it's blowing me away because I just don't do this stuff anymore.
But at one time I would burn frankensence and dragons blood on a charcoal brick in a brass burner sitting with a fist sized amythist in my palm and meditating for hours with entities dancing across my bedroom in the dancing candle light.
I shake my head in disbelief at the thought that this used to be me.

I've spent these past few years looking at the hylozoic explanation, that relatively speaking, half of the physical human organism is as yet unknown to science and is yet to be termed "the etheric body"; and that this etheric body sits by the dead human body, in the grave, until it is dissolved, and then it can also dissolve, and that during life the etheric body is key to enabling the flesh body to operate at all.

Wheres cremating dead bodies immediately releases the soul from this dense world and there is no need to rot in graves. Much more is explained about this and all existence in hylozoics, but its study is a huge leap outside of the popular, light weight beliefs in sciences.

Comprehensively systematized thinking is never attained in a single human lifetime as the all demolishing powers that be, have always endeavored to confuse everything, keeping the complicit and docile hosts uninformed.

You know I've never heard of a hylozic experience but I talk about what you allude to in post 48 on this thread. Subtle energy bodies related to soul and body are discussed and elaborated on in Hinduism.
There is a difference between these energy bodies and the soul. These subtle energy bodies from what I understand do tend to go to the grave and return to the environment as the physical body, but these subtle energy bodies are not your soul, they detach from your soul just as your physical body does.
Your soul may aquire a new energetic attire on the other side.
I'm not 100 percent clear on this but I've heard this.
