thank you shadowstalker for the thread. i just read an article about it on the google news site, it is very strange to have tornado weather in mass. i would expect a 'noreaster' to hit or even a blizzard, but a tornado? very strange indeed. i hope everyone is okay and that fatalities are at an absolute minimum.

It was 20 miles from me. WTF is a tornado doing in new england?

So glad to read your post, jjl. I was thinking of you as the storms were coming through and hoping you were all right.
When I first moved to Massachusetts, I heard about the Worcester tornado that ran through Holden. Then there was the tornado that went through the Boy Scout camp in Worcester sometime in the 1980's IIRC. There have been a few tornado's and microbursts in Windsor Locks, CT just across the border from Springfield. Seems to be happening more and more.
Last night's storm was chilling. I was outside just before the last storm cell came through and could feel 'electricity' in the air...I don't know how else to describe it, except to say you could actually feel the strength of what was coming. I love a good storm, but this one didn't feel right. The air was very thick and it just felt 'wrong'.
My heart goes out to those people in Westfield, Springfield and Brimfield where the tornados hit.

Hi All,
We experienced the tail end of this same system here in eastern Nova Scotia- I have never seen anything like that before- a massive electrical storm with over two hundred hits to power transformers etc. numerous power outages and hail reported.
We had the most intense thunder and lightening for over three hours non stop! It was scary.. and my husband slept through the entire thing!
I fully expected to hear of a Tornado hitting some part of the province on the news this morning but apparently our air was cooler than that of Massachusetts- so we were spared that fate thank goodness.
This storm was just surreal.. Take care,
Caren

the ptb are controlling the weather, tornado's in the upper northeast? the haarp weapon is a threat to the world, when will people get it? What is wrong with congress? their lack of action proves their knowledge of the weapon. to all those who live in alaska- shut that thing down !!

Totally crazy this is about an hour from my home town. I lived there for over 20 years and have never seen or imagined anything like this storm. Wow having this kind of possible haarp controlled storm hit near home for me takes things to a new level..... The whole countries weather is just totally insane right now. Tornadoes everywhere. And here in northern california it seriously may as well be febuary it is so cold and wet. Rain is usually so rare here in june but it has been raining everyday for a week with another week striaght of rain predicted along with 20 degree below average temps. I mean it is june and it is freezing! 50's as highs and 38 to 45 for the low. I dont know if its haarp or what but this weather is out of this world.

wasn't haarp...
for those who would like to know what happened, take a look right here... (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?286-Something-Really-BIG-is-Going-on-With-The-Sun&p=233890&viewfull=1#post233890)
Right now, truths are far stranger than conspiracies...
We are finding earthquakes follow the energy coming in from the sun, seen as Auroras.
notice the earthquakes that happened in the area?

I was right on the Mass border, in Keene, NH when the storm hit, and saw hail the size of half dollars. I had hail at my house last week, and today the temps will dip down to the low 40's. Anybody who can look around now and mention the term "global warming" needs to wake up and work on their critical thinking.
Still patiently waiting for Summer in southern VT. Feels more like Fall to me.

My prayers go out to all those affected. They say we all have angels at our side, if so I direct them to go assist where most needed.
