Love to know how they are going to Police this one?
According to Mark Masnick, if a website embeds a YouTube video that is determined to have infringed on copyright and more than 10 people view it on that website, the owner or others associated with the website could face up to five years in prison.
How do you know if the You Tube Video is copyrighted?
How are they going to enforce a New Law in the USA and enforce it offshore?
Why would anyone want to post any Copyrighted material on You Tube if they didn't want people to watch it in the 1st place?
Lucky most of the You Tube Truth Video's posted here at Avalon come from the Alternative Media anyway!
We will Always manage to get the Truth out to the people somehow with or without such an enforced Draconian Bill!

Seeing as most servers and sites are in America, it would be very easy for them.
This is bad news for my sites :( I don't want to get sued. I was planning on doing youtube sections for both :(
I wouldn't worry too much. The only people likely to sue are the big commercial producers like music/tv/film types. So if you're hosting full tv shows or movies then yeah, you might get sued. If you're just using parts of people's work in your own videos then Fair Usage applies. We should also remember that it's only worth suing people who have money. I doubt this will affect most people, just the "pirates".
