Esma you might be interested in the thread about Oil Pulling. It has quite a lot of info about dental healing with oil pulling.

Thank you, Blacklight43! I will look. But the thing I am worrying about is the cost of the 3 crowns they want to replace and the crown they want to fix. They are 20 year old crowns though. So maybe I shouldn't complain. Its just I have terrible insurance.
I have learnt to ignore dentists when they say this and that has to be done.
Their training does not include worrying about their patients ability to pay.
Twenty years ago a dentist wanted to do several thousand dollars worth of work, so I switched to another dentist...
And she has only done work that really needed doing, and because I said so.
My teeth are fine. I only changed my amalgan fillings 15 years ago as I was worried about their mercury content.
The mouth can heal itself better than any other body part, saliva makes sure of it.
It just takes patience and hygene...
Try this: http://www.mizar5.com/
Do not listen to their "prevent this" attitude. If nothing is hurting or bothering you, do not do anything. Keep your teeth and gums very clean, pull oil, rinse with real salt water. Never use mouth wash. Oral bacteria are very beneficial and you don't want to kill them!
Many years ago Reader's Digest conducted a little test. They found a man with perfect dental health and sent him on a journey. He visited 50 dentists, all across the USA. He got 50 different opinions about the state of his oral health. Only one, ONLY ONE dentist told him his mouth was healthy!!! The costs proposed by the scam dentists ranged from a few bucks to thousands of them. Unbelievable. True.
I have friends in the US that came down to Mexico to get their teeth done cause it's way less money than in the US. good vibes to you esma ever heart.
ps you can use that as an excuse to get your family on a small vacation down here. hihihi
Sorry! Misread at first. I try to do the most urgent project first but keep getting cleanings in between. I am praying that your teeth will hold out till you can repair each one.

Day 1 of Oil Pulling: I only lasted 3 minutes! I just kept feeling like I needed to swallow. Maybe it was because I first woke up? I didn't like the taste of the Sesame Oil either. I rinsed my mouth about 20 times with warm water and the taste was still there for a long time. Tomorrow I will rinse with the warm salt water. I will try it again in the morning and try to last longer than I did today.
Thank you so much everyone! Your support means more than I can say!

Can you get a second opinion? Search out practices on the net that have a good reputation near you. Could save you a fortune.
Sending light :)

you aren't too far from Mexico, they do root canals for $20-$50 so you don't need a 2nd mortgage for a smile... ;)

here it goes, solution will arrive.
Please avoid root canals if possible. The evidence is very clear that most will leave bacteria pockets that cannot be eradicated. These bacteria cause all manner of issues throughout life. Very damaging!
The teeth are pizoelectric conductors, pathways for information. We need all of our teeth and for them to be healthy.
Good luck, best wishes to you!

Conk,
I wish someone had told me that 20 years ago. It's too late on the root canal thing for some of my teeth. As a matter fact I have way too many crowns as is.
Day 2 of Oil Pulling: Well I just can't seem to get past 3 minutes. But at least I didn't feel like puking today. That is improvement, right? I will try again in the morning.

Crowns and root canals are dentists way of saying, 'screw Mother Nature', our way is better. It's them 'preventing' problems, when in fact they are causing them. No one can tell if what the dentist is saying is true, as they look in your mouth and tell you something is wrong or about to go wrong. And as the Reader's Digest story shows, they will lie!

Which is why I have got an appointment to get a second opinion before I agree to anything in the $5,000 worth of work this dentist wants me to do. I just can't afford that at all. So there is no way I am going to agree to all that to begin with.
Anyway thank you everyone for all the love and light you have sent my way. I means a lot to me!

A quick update: I went and got a second opinion today. This dentist said I had vitually no tartar build up and my teeth looked really good. He told me to just keep doing what I have been doing. Thank you everyone for the prayers. It worked! I think the oill pulling helped too.

Hey There,
Honestly, you should buy MMS1, make a 15 drops solution in a small glass...gurgle it (no drinking). If you have tooth or gum ace it disappears within SECONDS. It kills all bacteria and infection you might have in your mouth instantly. Do that as often as you please and when finished, gurgle (move around) again in yogurt or acidophilus to recreate the good bacteria flora in your mouth again. Cheap and fantastic. Then you can wait a bit by going to the Dentist and save up in the meantime.
Best of Luck

I'm actually been brushing my teeth or cleaning my mouth with MMS1, been doing it since two weeks ago.
No more toothpaste.
No bad breath, no bacteria. Clean teeth.

Yes it is fantastic, isn't it... ;-) . In case you one day catch some fungus i.e. between your toes, MMS is not the best treatment..Use 1tea spoon of Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) add it to a shot glass with pre-boiled water. soak a piece of cotton in it and place between your toes over night. Gone in the morning :-) . Can also be inhaled or drank but you need lower strength so ask advise if you need it.
Ciao

Hello Dear EsmaEverheart,
After I post this, will use my trusty pyramid to send healing energy your way. Will also send a PS for some extra money to arrive if you need it.
Thanks for everyone's input. This is a topic close to my heart, because I have been putting off a visit to the dentist for awhile now (just for a clean). Because I've had some bad experiences. (Pain relief didn't work).
Long story short, had complications with wisdom teeth removal (infection) and twice ripping and cleaning my gums (my teeth are perfect, it's the gums that are the problem). Had a Dentist in Macquarie Street, Sydney (that's where they all congregate to rip you off to buy their swimming pools and investment properties), who told me in no uncertain terms 13 years ago, if I didn't fix this filling in the next year, I'd be going to hell in a handbasket. 13 years later? Filling is fine.
I also agree with the daily mouthwash of salt water. I'd also forgotten about the MMS I have in my fridge. Will haul that out and get with the programme on that one. Thanks for reminding me.
Cheers,:spit:

Hi Teakai, I'd love to get jiggy wiv it, lol....
Watched this vid* and one after it. I'd like to know more about this caper, never heard about it before! Will check out the threads on 'oil pulling'. Anything that will prevent me having to go to the torture chamber again (the Dentist), dead set, I'd give my left arm for.
Cheers,
Lily
*And by the way, this chicky babe looks far too perky and healthy for my liking. Really will have to check out oil pulling, lol...

I ask for, am granted, and am sending many blessings for health, abundant living, plus wellbeing and for a healed mouth. Should all of these fail, there will be debt forgiveness and new distributions of all the prosperity funds before the end of 2011. Hang on and you're home free, babe! Be well! Much love! xoxoxox

Me too. I only looked into it due to this thread. (Thanks esma (I think) )
Gargling oil for 15 minutes on an empty stomach every day - wonder how long it will take before I just don't want to get out of bed.
What I learned is the oil is to be cold pressed - not hot pressed.
Anybody got any tips on the most effective oil? The first video I saw used 'sesame', but the girl in the second vid used coconut - which looked a bit difficult to swish (gag). I was thinking of using apricot - but was hoping someone had some quick suggestions and saved me having to do some research on oils.
(I think perky chicky babe might be a result of oil pulling - here's hoping :) )

My experience with the Sesame Oil is that the first day I almost threw up because the taste seemed really bad to me. Needless to say I didn't last long the first day before I had to spit it out. But I stuck with it adding a few more minutes every day until I got up to the 20 minutes. The taste of the Oil gets better the more you do it too. I was just amazed at the complete healing of my mouth between the time that I went to the 2 separate dentists which was only about 4 weeks of the Oil Pulling. So it was great for me and all your thoughts and prayers helped me to. I could feel them.
The other thing that happened to me this week was I got my index finger hung when I was picking up something heavy on Monday morning and by the afternoon my knuckle swelled up pretty huge and was in a lot of pain. After putting ice on it for an hour, the swelling didn't go down at all and the pain was just getting worse. Plus my finger was starting to look a little deformed. So I ran down to a little Emergency Clinic close by. When they took the xrays they said my finger wasn't fractured but there were some loose bone fragments floating around in there which usually means that the ligaments have pulled off the bone. Anyway all they did was splint my finger and tell me to leave it on for 4 or 5 days and if it didn't get better that I would have to go to a hand specialist. They also wanted to give me some killer pain meds, which I refused. But I did accept a anti-inflammatory gel to rub on it. Now it is Friday and my finger doesn't hurt at all and the swelling is almost gone. The finger is a little stiff but I think the more I exercise it that it will get better mobility.
Anyway, I shared that because I felt all your prayers and love and light and I think it spilled over onto my finger too. I just can't thank you all enough. I will never forget how kind you all have been to me. Much love and light back to you all.
