Thanks for sharing this.
I make some music, and this puts me in a place I like.
It's well done too.
I'm almost so well immersed in it that I can forget all my techi questions about how you work with the technology. I struggle to make all the bits work together without distracting me from the important bit.
It's good to know you've got a way of working that does the trick.

with allot of the (music) tech that goes around I know its really easy (for me) to get overwhelmed and confused, Its a real should i say 'path' to trek to get it to a place where I can manage to shut down the oooh laa laa that spins around constantly..its like living really..quitting the mind and letting what trying to be said in the moment be said..its more of a listening and becoming sensitive to the moment..distractions are always here no matter what..even in talking with people its difficult to narrow what they are REALLY trying to say..I guess its about listening..and responding gently to what the spirit is saying..rather then the mind thing..mind can go on and on..like look with all i just said *giggle* like i have to preach. ..*tisk tisk*
~zenn sound~
master the little bit you have..and let it be worth your time..let it. use a spoon to say it if thats all you have..take 'competition' out of expression ..learn that it is worth it..even the small smiles make a day go by ..no sound..just felt and transmitted ..silence is also an instrument in the greatest symphony ..and just as perfect and profound as any note..they need each other to make it perfect.

Like the atmosphere of this...Look forward to hear what vocals you cook up.
Music is apart of everyday life for me and gets me through each day. Its gotta be some Soul, Funk or Reggae. I just can't stand regular pop music and always on the search for some good music with feeling. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here is a few pieces im listening to right now.

I manage a band of some other members of Avalon. I'll leave it up to them to pipe up.
I suggest watching this in HD Full screen with volume UP! There are plenty more on their Youtube page (mostly live)
I hope you enjoy :)

Cool soundscape. Its really very gripping. I like the layers upon layers that give it that kind of musical saturation, as well as the movements from one motive to another.
If you're into that kind of songbuilding you might like Animals As Leaders. The guitarist who founded the band (he plays an 8-string for the extended range) is quite progressive and uses some of the most textured layers I have ever heard to produce something grandiose. In case you're interested:
Edit: Hear the last few minutes of this song, its like a colossal wave of sound haha

If I may share some of my favorites. First up, the lovely and VERY talented Happy Rhodes. If you've never heard of her, do yourself a favor and have a listen:
