Is graphene a miracle material? HERE
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/click_online/9491789.stm)

You can read the article ... amazing just amazing material. BUT then you listen to the video above. Why most of it talks about how to control and keep track of our daily lives + some new tech gadgets?

Am i wrong to have my alarms go off with that video?

Did you see how casual the RIFD options are promoted in the end? Or the always connected part... maybe i am getting paranoid and see bad intentions everywhere ...

I think we are going to have a hard time trying to make it 'smart' like it is depicted; has to do with its conductive properties. It can theoretically be done, but it is a risk to go that route because by the time it becomes practical, we may have come across something more suitable.

I'd like to see it replace plastic though. Would affect our dependence on petroleum. And it does have potential as a data storage medium, 'printable' matter and whatnot.
