Simple post, not expecting many replies, but it's 1:00 am in South Florida and I was thinking what a great group of people we have on this site. I look forward to reading the posts from folks all over the globe each day.

You people have grown to be very important to me even if I don't know you personally. I was just sitting back reflecting on what was important, and you people score pretty high in my book.

In sincerity, Mandala

I haven't been here too long, but so far, so good.
I've enjoyed the topics and everyone's comments.

A clumsy quote of the top off my head: The internet doesn't devide us on a personal level - it let us get to know eath other spiritually. (Vin Diesel)

I had never thought about it like that until he mentioned it. And he might be right. Look at how sweet, respectful and caring we are to an avatar (or what ever that little square pic is called). True, some don't feel the need to respect what ever individual is behind the profile as they don't know the person in person, but I also think that they are the not yet spirritually evolved/awakening people. But if one seeks this digital company in the right places (like here) one finds kindeness, understanding, respect for differing oppinions etc. And all without having to brush ones hair before enjoying the spirit of what we all bring to the table.

It has been a personal quest for me to learn to appreciate the 'small things' in life. I was always struck by the ceaseless dis-satisfaction
of friends, how they were always hanging for the next big gratification-whereas for me I get a kick out of watching the interesting shapes of clouds
and the quality of light at a given moment. It is no small matter to have:
1. a pleasant place to live
2.good food
3.Someone to love and to be loved in return
4.Access to knowledge and information, books, internet etc
These items for me represent a truly wealthy life-I am learning to appreciate what I have, and Avalon is certainly a significant part of this richness
I salute you all, and thank you for allowing me to share this great space with you all.
5.The means to be entertained and distracted

I have been on here since the early days of the Project Camelot/Project Avalon forum, and I am still learning heaps.

Nothing like it.

I've also been a member on the forum since Avalon 1 and for many reasons: all the ones mentioned above. Avalon is a great place with interesting people. I have learned so much...

What I enjoy the most, is the respect that we have to each other, we may debate and not agree with each other, but we respect each other.

Feels good to be chatting with all you nice and respectful people.

Respect and maturity are very important ingredients this forum has succeeded to maintain through out all kind of weathers. Sometimes, it is stormy and it's always a good opportunity to be better by showing respect, maturity and sometimes simply by remaining silent.

We are all different and important. We all have something important to say, to do, to think, to offer, to learn, to teach... As long as respect, maturity and a certain detachment is present, the best from everyone may come out freely.

Namaste, Steven

Not often you find a world full of friends, till you truly look for a world full of friends. You folks humble me everyday. You all present me with puzzle pieces and perspectives that are diamonds; helping me integrate what I already had with views and facts I didn't. Thankful to know there are people in the world that go for wisdom and forgiveness in all things. Much gratitude.

Nothing feels better then debating with respectful intelligent people, to fly off on a new subject or to dig up a old myth.
Avalon is just a great way to enhance your mind and your energy towards life.
What would life be without Avalon :)

Cheers,
Steve

What a joy to land upon this thread on a day when I was somewhat tiring. Everyone is right! Avalon is a fine place with many many fine people.

The work we have chosen to accept, implicitly as Avalon members, is burdensome, heavy duty and tiring. I will not relent from contributing as much as I can to the much needed shift in the behavior and awareness of our species.

In no small way, my stamina in performing this duty is aided by regularly viewing the posts of other similarly minded individuals.

Thanks Avalonians all. Together and hopefully with millions of others in due time the changes we want will be made real.

you need never buy another newspaper ever again, every thing a person needs to know is spoken about on this forum, the things that really matter that is, hey maybe im just biased.

I love a special feel good thread and this one ranks waaay up there...

we wade through tons of negativity each day and really should take a few special moments just to be happy...

together we grow and no one expected so many giant Beanstalks to be growing at once...
