Here it is. Hot off the press. He's talking about a one-term presidency and using his family as the excuse.
Obama: My family approves of a one-term presidency
Though the president himself, his staff, and his supporters around the country are busy devoting everything they've got to his 2012 re-election campaign, Obama revealed Monday that his family isn't necessarily as "invested."
"Michelle and the kids are wonderful in that if I said, 'You know, guys, I want to do something different,' they'd be fine. They're not invested in daddy being president or my husband being president. But they do believe in what we're doing," Obama told NBC "Today Show" host Ann Curry in an interview that aired Tuesday.
And the president revealed that even he sometimes feels like giving up.

this is an interesting prelude to what may happen. if he puts the word out now that all is not lost if he chooses not to run, or is not re-selected, it's a good way to save face. but, the damage is done. he has done what he was selected to do. now it's a matter of clean up and re-designation.

He has done exactly that, corson. IMO, he was "elected" to bring as much damage to the U.S. as possible as quickly as possible.
In that regard Obama, well done indeed!!

There is no need to be concerned Tane Mahuta. Weiner wouldn't even make it to the primaries and Sarah will be in the running for a while, but not for long.
But then, there is always Michele Bachmann. :pound:

I honestly don't even know if I will vote in the next election. In my opinion, no politician is worthy of leading the US. We are a country full of different people from all over with different values and backgrounds and placing us into a box like "republican" or "democrat" doesn't make any sense. We are a country that is soooo divided it is not even funny. The elections bring out the worse in us and are treated like watching the NBA finals, "East vs. West". Even if Obama is voted out, none of the Republicans running are going to do any better. It is going to be the same story, different character. Same lies same BS. The Presidency is not what it used to be anymore and it never will be. It is a popularity contest. One big reality show. Sex, drugs and lies. Frankly, I'm sick of hearing about it on the news. It's just depressing. If I were President, I couldn't take 8 yrs of that craziness. Sheesh!

When you are the biggest puppet in the world with all the "elite's" hands up your ass controlling you, making you do things you probably don't want to do, and then finding out that the next president, regardless of party or stance, will also just be another puppet, I can't see why anyone would want to quit?
Geez Obama, such a cop-out. ;)
