I have been researching geomancy and ley lines for four years. I have discovered that Thomas Jefferson had a well developed affinity for what was termed "personal meridians." As I examined the streets of Washington DC I noticed that there was a definite alignment of Jefferson designed architecture and other themed sites including James Madison's home Montpelier. These type of alignments are common and descend from Egypt, Mesopotamia, as well as Greek and Roman culture. Due to the logistics of such an endeavor only the elite and powerful of the world can accomplish this.
Jefferson may have designed his country estate Poplar Forest to serve as the Axis Mundi or central cog of his alignment. Poplar Forest has a similar octagonal design to the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Jefferson may have been a Knights Templar Strict Observance. The Templar's may value the Dome since it was there when they occupied the Temple Mount. Earlier in my research I noted the Dome's function as a sighting device using the directions inferred by the facets of its octagonal design. I applied this model to Jefferson's Poplar Forest and discovered a precise alignment with the Georgia Guide Stones. The SW trending line created using the bearing inferred from the NW facet of Jefferson's home not only leads directly to the guidestones but matches the "X" shaped plan of the monument itself.
I believe the Guide Stones were placed with respect to Jefferson's Geomantic system out of respect for him. To the North of Poplar Forest Jefferson's Monticello, University of Virginia, Barboursville Mansion (Jefferson Designed), Madison's Montpelier, Mormon DC temple, Columbia Maryland (goddess Columbia/Queen Semiramis reference). There is little doubt that people are still using this alignment for talismanic purposes in the modern world. The Deepwater oil rig was located on this alignment. After the spill NOAA sent R/V Thomas Jefferson to monitor the oil spill. Monitcello, Georgia seems to have been intentionally placed on this alignment. I have also identified other Axis' all over the world. All of the talismanic themed info associated with these Axis Mundi match. Please watch the attached video for my Jefferson info and an overview of what I have found elsewhere. I also believe Jefferson created the Beale treasure legend as a geomantic mystery.

Thanks for sharing your findings. :) Always nice to share research with others, and to be shared with.
I've always been a bit curious about stuff like this but have researched it very little.
I do wonder how humanity got the premise for ley lines. How the elite got ahold of info about them etc.

Thanks for the reply. From what I have read these lines developed from ancient trade routes and the cloistered knowledge of geodesy (measuring the earth). It is clear that the Egyptians and other ancient cultures knew the shape and dimensions of the earth. They hid this information and took advantage of it themselves. It is possible that navigation was one of the first technologies to be hidden and exploited by the ruling class. This may be the reason for the propagation of the "flat earth theory" in the dark ages. There are signs of another less reptilian group of people who were aware of this information and tried to use it for good instead of evil or control. See Tsarions appendix 3 on the Irish Origins of Civilization website for a good overview of the historical development of ley lines. Have a great day!

I think Geomancy is one of the topics that is hidden in the shadows but deserves far more attention. Ty for adding to the available info.

Thank you. I should have titled this post "Georgia Guidestones Mystery solved." I am continually surprised that I am coming up with history changing information and nobody really seems to care. The concepts Jefferson used were hidden since the time of Egypt. There may be a reason not much is known about geomancy as it can be used to discern the true pattern of history

I think that just reflects the ratio of genuine seekers to fear tourists within the Alternative Community.
Now if you were a Jesuit funded Media Megaphone or a mind controlled Reptilian expert, you'd be flooded with responses. =]

Ha! That is truly insightful and hilarious! I have been harassed to a minor degree for some of the information I have come up with. A lot of the "upsetting" information can anger eitherPagan, Masonic or Roman Catholic ways of thought. Geomancy was originally a pagan concept that was adapted by the church and elite. What I have found is a small group of people who use this for negative reasons. I do not think Thomas Jefferson had evil intent but it might be interpreted that way in today's world by certain groups or philosophies. Prior to the advent of Google Earth this information would have been exceptionally hard to analyze. No one should be angry. All of it is there in the public domain for anyone to discover. It is hidden right out in the open.

If I cross or move over a ley line I get an immediate and overt psychic response. It is akin to a bird having it's magnetite compass all screwed up. Vertigo, like being tossed from a plane, gravity takes a hike. I can feel the pull on my body and spirit combination. It pulls me out, it extends me.
Their sensitives and shamen/doctors/etc found them. The same way I do.

When I read Graham Hancock's 'Fingerprints of the Gods', he cites ancient maps that go back beyond the last ice age and talks about measurements in the Giza pyramid that show the builders knew the dimensions of the Earth, so I'd say geodesy and geomancy is pre-anyone around today.
I'm interesting in looking for alignments in the UK but I'm wondering, when you use flat maps, how do you allow for the curvature of the Earth and at what sort of scale does that come in to play?
@Carmody: Do you know of any sites that have UK info on ley lines and vortexes?

Hi Cartomancer, are you familiar with "songlines" of the Australian Aborigines? You might like to read and comment on this post and/or some of the preceding posts:

Cartomancer, can you tell me who is the voice on the video presenting this information and does he have a website? I wasn't able to get this video to play well for me and I'd like to research it more, fascinating information. Is it possible to get a copy of THE BOOK OF THE HOLY GRAILLE? In Von Daniken's books he speaks about a priest in Equador who was given many, many metalic tablets by the local indians who loved him. He claimed that the Indians retrieved them from an underground labyrinth of caves. Daniken wrote that the Mormon belief is that their ancesters, decended from Enoch and that Enoch's son brought thesse tablets with him in a boat designed by ET gods to surviive the flood. They landed in South America. When this priest died, his many rooms full of artifacts were confiscated by the Vatican and noone was allowed to see them. I'm sorry I don't recall the name of the priest, as this information can be googled.

I am the narrator and producer of the video. You can see this video and many more at my Youtube channel SurvivalCell. I have several videos there including information about the Great Pyramid, Baalbek, The Vatican, Carthage,The Dome of the Rock, Roswell UFO crash, the Very Large Array is a geomantic feature that has links to Jefferson and Von Humboldt. The line from the National Mall passes adjacent to the VLA. The VLA is a geomantic talisman that represents the Trinity. It is triangular shaped and even points directly to the Trinity Test site. The VLA is on the latitude of Baalbek.
When I first started to look into all of this I started by finding out that Thomas Jefferson's township grid has occult overtones. This is a grid he developed that covers the entire US except the original 13 colonies. It is numbered 1-36 backwards. All of the numbers totaled =666. Representative Gabriel Giffords happened to have been shot in Township 13 North Range 13 East.
I never dreamed studying geomancy would lead to a mystery that involves Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Von Humboldt, Joseph Smith, and many more behind the scenes players. These men set up a geomantic system similar to the ones that had already existed in Europe and the ancient world. The Roman Catholic Church has a system of its own as does the Mormon Church.
The "Book of the Holy Grail" is available at Amazon.com. This book is, I believe, intentionally written to throw those off the trail who will think it is not true. The claims made in the modern forward of the book are outrageous. The BOTHG portion is older and was edited by Jefferson and Henry Mercier (French Minister to the US in mid 1800's) Henry Lincoln, the discoverer of the Rennes Le Chateau mystery learned of it from what he terms a cheap pulpy novel that he had trouble believing until he found physical proof. This is the same process I went through in defining Jefferson's Axis at Poplar Forest.
I have seen some short films about the metallic tablets that were taken from South America. That is really interesting in light of what Joseph Smith found at Cumorah Hill in NY. Geomancy may be a way to see what the real truth is in history if you can define everything that is included in a given Templum. A great deal of effort and expense has been put forth to make all of these alignements happen. If you stop to contemplate the additional dynamics of how this affected the organic development and plans of cities and towns one can begin to see that it might interfere with the organic scheme of development.
I have identified a central geomantic hub in the US/Canada that is hidden. Thanks for the kind words. Check out this vid about the Very Large Array:

Hello, Cjay. I am spending some time this weekend studying up on the songlines and plotting some of the cave systems you suggested. Boy this is a great forum with a wide variety of opinions and research. I will also peruse your previous posts. I was just getting my feet wet and meeting some other folks here. You will hear from me soon.

Thank you for checking out my theories. Using a flat map is much more difficult to use when analyzing geomantic traits. On most maps that are capable of showing long distance relationships the scale is too large to plot specific structures with accuracy. Larger maps have more distortion and inaccuracy the further you move away from the center. In addition the trigonometry involved in plotting the same line on maps that have different projections would cause many problems. If your map is a small scale such as 1:24000 using straight lines is fairly accurate but the scale of the map would only cover 50-100 square miles at the most. If two of the structures you are trying to look at are on the map of this scale it is possible to do. There are also several websites that provide point to point distance and angle from anywhere on the globe.
Flat maps require straight lines to be drawn as arcs. It would be easier to learn how to use Google Earth than the trigonometry involved to plot the same line on maps with different scales and projections. In addition the practice of Geomancy developed from those who had knowledge of the earth being a sphere. This was hidden. They used globes to plot the ley lines and that is why it is so easy to see them on Google Earth. John Dee the astrologer of Elizabeth I was a geomancer who used globes. Thank you.

Your observations are interesting. As I learned more I found that there were lines that have the properties you speak of and others that are wholly created by people for talismanic reasons. It is possible that physical properties as you describe develop even on the lines created by humans. I have developed a theory that used the Hexagonal structure in the ruins of Baalbek, Lebanon as a datum for a triangular or hexagonal grid that covers the earth. I have found many places in the old world that directly align with the facets of the hexagon at Baalbek. Carthage has an octagonal structure that points to the hex at Baalbek and the Hex at Baalbek points to the octagon of Carthage.
This fits the cultural method by which many historians believe that Carthage was once a colony of the Phonicians who lived in the region where Baalbek is. The spatial relationship of the Great Pyramid and Baalbek is within two miles of representing the hypotenuse of at 4x5 block of Lat/Long (at that Lat.). The Great Pyramid points to the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Baalbek, The leaning Tower of Pisa, the Memphis Tenn. pyramid, the site where Joseph Smith found the Golden Tablets and many other interesting places.

I am still researching the songlines of AU. This is a very interesting concept in which the song they are singing has talismanic an physical effects on the person doing the singing. This is an interesting clue. Many of the legends of Stargates and wormholes say they work in conjunction with a tone or sound like the songs. I will look into the songlines more.

Joseph Smith, Mormons, Utah, The Great Salt Lake.
That the Mormon religion is a literal throwback to the more ancient forms of religious rule of society. Multiple wives, religious rule, etc.
Look at the Ley/Vortex/Geomancy lines. Where they just accidentally happen to be:
8405
Coincidence?
I don't think so. Not even for a second.

Wow. I would like to check out the entire map etc. Most of the ley lines I am identifying are created using the orientation of structures and elements of structures like octagons and hexagons. I am finding there are spiritually generated lines, actual energy lines, and the created ones I am finding. Do you think these all represent the same thing?

Different meanings and different types of frequencies and vibrations.
if you do a search for "vortex maps" and my handle (carmody) you may find quite a few references and connections on this forum to such considerations. some of the links you will find will suggest different search terms. You've likely got a day or so of reading on my comments. the lithium thread will really knock you for a loop. It connects the whole thing.
One of my original and first statements (lithium thread) tends to knock people for a loop. usually so hard that they dismiss it and remove it from their mind, it just bounces right off- no system of mental analysis exists within them, so the 'sanity maintaining' thing to do -is to remove it from their mind-including memory of having read it.
I speak on golemic aspects of manifestation on the personal level. As tied to all of this material.

Hey, I know what you mean about things bouncing off of people's minds so easily. My material is not the easiest to absorb for many. I'll check out some of your posts. It is always great to talk w/ someone who is at least familiar with google earth and maps etc. Many do speculate that ley lines developed to mark the salt trades lines of early antiquity. It would make sense that resources would be related somehow. I'm guessing this is the lithium link? I have a few interesting blogs at SurvivalCell.blogspot.com. Thanks
