He said he was making up his mind about Atticus & co, then posted some short messages. I expect him to break down his evaluation of the Bill-Charles-18-case as his real grand comeback.

I decided not to miss something ever. All things have their time and needs and we are all one anyways. I just pray for everything to develop positive, smooth and steady. Life is now, there's always something more productive to do than "missing someone". Though I somehow admire people who do this passionately, it really takes determination to go into those thoughts and feelings. Even if I'd try, I'd immediately hear the voice in my head "that's nonsense, let go of this pathetic attachement, cmon, do something".

Of course I'll welcome him back, he's my friend, you all are, don't get me wrong...

Yes it's a big shame Rob's taken an indefinite leave of absence - He's left a big void within this forum. I think it's become evident from his absence, how valuable his input really was.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rob a couple of weeks back, I can vouch that he's one of the finest characters I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. He was honest, vastly intelligent, highly funny, and just had a real air about him.

I look forward to his return to Avalon as i now think he won't turn his back for good on such a wonderful and important group of people.

I am a friend of Robs and speak with him frequently. We are like brothers. It gets tiring, even if most people either like you or are neutral to carry on while someone is pissing on your back all the time. No - I mean that some people on the forum have been absolute ****s and I'm not surprised he's taking a break. I hope that it is just a break and not something more inSIDIOUS (pun) and that when he does return we will all remember what a valued member he is and how much positivity he brings to the forum. I also think that the mods should delete and edit EVERYTHING that is a personal attack. Yet they seem to allow some people a lot of sway and come down heavily on others. When we first joined we were given a set of rules about the forum, about what would be tolerated and what wouldn't. As far as I can see, it was part of the Terms & Conditions that we signed up to. PA is an ailing community at the moment although I know this is only temporary. Maybe we should all go quiet for a while and let the trolls die of starvation.

This is sad news the mediator has left the building. Many time I have watched LS bring balance back to a wayward thread.
Or stand up for human dignity. His compassion was evident. Seldom could you ruffle his feathers never responding with venom to an attack.
This was one lightened soul and I will miss this dark light warrior. This is something he felt he must do or he would not. He loved to help nuggets.

Yes it is very sad that Sidious has left the building, but so be it. It just make me want to try to stand up and do my bit to fill the void *. I hope the people that attacked him realise he left for a reason. (Though part of me doesn't have any doubt that they were trying to get him to leave.)....

More has to be done to stop discussions turning into the sort of vicious flame-throwing that they have a very bad habbit of becoming around here. I'm not exactly sure how to do it without it coming across as censorship tho....
