Julia Gillard announces her future is green - but it means spending more than $500 million of taxpayers’ money on a private project to create just 500 jobs - and overpriced electricity:
REGIONAL Queensland will be home to one of the biggest solar-gas power plants in the world under a $1.2 billion investment that will create hundreds of jobs.
The Solar Dawn project will use new Australian-pioneered technology and transform Chinchilla and the western downs into the nation’s mixed-energy capital.
Building a case to support renewable energy and her carbon pollution tax, Prime Minister Julia Gillard said the abundant Queensland sun could help power the region and keep the environment clean.
“We will protect Australian jobs at the same time as we create new ones,” she said…
Ms Gillard announced $464 million for the project while Premier Anna Bligh chipped in $75 million...

It will create up to 300 new jobs, indirectly support up to 1000 jobs and will abate about 500,000 tonnes of emissions a year.
This is mad. That’s $1 million in subsidies for every green job. While means ripping taxes off more productive private sector businesses, killing real jobs.

However you do the sums, it seems like an exhorbitant price to pay. Of course, this goverment are expert at paying way too much for everything they do - but it's OUR money they are spending.
I have a better idea. Let's use the money to plant 500 million trees instead... and then do that again, every year.

There's something very sinister about both Rudd and Gillard. For starters, they've got to be the worst performing politicians and PM's this country has ever seen. I cant compare their performance with Whitlam as I wasn't around then, but from what I've heard amongst locals is that they're on equal terms if not worst.
I sometimes wonder if the tension between them after Rudd's dethroning a year ago is a smoke and mirrors deliberation towards their electorate given they're both serving the UN in differing capacities; she a fabian and he ..well a general glory seeking w**ker of gigantic proportions.
Then you've got "backdoor Brown butt" and his clown mistress Milne leading this bizarre Greens' I just don't get it, but one thing that smells a rat, is that it's all leading towards collaboration within the agendas of the UN, while they do this incredible job of confusing the f*** out of this place :(
So how do we start Icke's non compliance dance? Any takers?

I think it would be fantastic if we all just went cold turkey.
Bought no petrol - walked or rode bikes wherever we went if able to.
Used the barest necessites in electricity.
Went into virtual shut down by way of corporate spending.
But that would only have any sort of impact if lots of people participated.

KRudd is a huge thorn in JuLiaR's side. She would love to sack him from the Foreign Ministership and banish him to the back bench but he might resign and then we would have a bi-election - they would probably lose that and as a result, lose power altogether. It would be a short-lived crisis though because the other bad team would win a general election by a landslide. Then we would limp and stagger into crises of a different flavour.
Let's sack ALL of the politicians and councillors. Anyone who has ever been a politician is banned forever from a leadership role. Ban political parties so all politicians are independents. Give every human the right to vote on every issue, every day. Maybe then we can have a truly democratic system where the majority rules. Introduce a code of conduct for our leaders and enforce it so they learn to behave like grownups and learn to cooperate for the common good. No more stupid photo-ops. No more lies, slogans or propaganda. No more nepotism. Make the bastards accountable. If they don't perform with integrity, they are banned for life. And that's just for starters. I am so sick of their SH!7

Agreed...
This is what I have been continually doing for the past 5 years.
1. I Rang my Local Member and explained courteously my Dissaproval of Labor/Greens Carbon Tax and Why.
2. I Rang Gillards, Rawson & Rudds office.
3. Ive been to 2 Anti-Carbon Tax Rallies so far...
4. I have sent Anti- Carbon Tax Fliers to people in my local area
5. I sent emails over a Year ago to Tony Abbott, Barnaby Joyce, Bob Katter, Corey Bernardi offices with this email...
We know that Global Warming is a SCAM!
20 years ago a Canadian National Beureaucrat named Maurice Strong had a vision that there should be a World Govt, World Currency and a World Bank which he detailed at the 1992 Earth Summit in Brazil on how Corporations/Govt/Central Bankers would Control Everything.
However they needed a Cause and a Vehicle to enable their deception to be enforced upon us all.
Then in July 1997 meeting for select, invited industry participants (e.g., Enron's Convicted Criinal Ken Lay) hosted by the White House, including Clinton and Gore, regarding that administration's case for policy action on the theory of man-made climate change.
This is when they COOKED UP the Global Warming SCAM/Carbon Trading Scheme!
Here is Al Gore Al Gore Caught Lying!! Denies that Ken Lay, Goldman Sachs CEOs Helped Develop C02 Trading 'Scheme'/Cap 'n' Trade/Carbon Tax!
If you have'nt already Please Watch this clip...

PS - My Family CANNOT AFFORD a CARBON TAX &/or LABOR GOVTS ANY LONGER..that support such Draconian Policies!
&...
Australia's Growing Debt!
THIS IS BEING DONE ON PURPOSE!
It is a part of the Fabian Socialist "Agenda 21", the Globalists and Political Elite want to Crush the Poor & Wipe Out the Middle Class and this is happening all over the world.
Make no mistake about it, this bunch is Ruthless!
Tell Me, has this Fabian Socialist Labor Govt. ever Listened to the Australian people ONCE? No, they don't give a Damn about the real pain they are inflicting upon us all.
The only chance we have is to educate ourselves on what the Globalists are doing. i.e. Google "Agenda 21" and see for yourself.
Our Democrocy Has been "Hijacked"!
Ours is not a Govt. 'By the People by the People' it is 'For the Party by the Party'! To me that leans more towards Communism!
What if anything are yo going to do about it??? Please let me know because I have lost complete faith in our elected officials!
6. I share my knowledge with anyone who will listen
7. I ring Radio Talkback shows
8. Hell, I have even gone into Kevin Rudd's office and told all the staff they are working for a CROOK!
In Summary...
Its NOT ENOUGH to just sit at home being a 'Keyboard Warrior' without being proactive in your endeavours!
So next time you put up a Thread or make a Comment - ask yourself what have you really done to make a difference?
The time HAS GONE to just sit behind a 'Keyboard' and DO NOTHING!!! If you do that Your Kidding Yourself you are making a real difference on the ground!
9. Just today, I Rang and Sent an Email to let Family First senator Steve Fielding know exactly what I thought of him not supporting a carbon tax plebiscite!!!
Their is a Hell-Of-Lot of 'Keyboard Warrriors' out there BUT not enough DOERS!
