Peace campaigner Brian Haw has lost his fight with cancer.
Bless him, See him surrounded in light and love and all his friends and family.

I think it's tragic that this thread on a real hero gets so few views and replies when the fake heroes are getting worshipped ad nauseum.

There are few people left I really admire and will be sad to see them go. Brian Haw was one of them. I'm still getting over the loss of Terrence Mckenna and Sacharia Sitchin.
We still have Delores Cannon and Bob Dean :)

Sad to hear. The world could use more people like Haw IMO. I honor his existence. RIP(or incarnate soon again :) ).

I met the guy and had a brief talk to him a few years ago, outside Parliament Square in Westminster.
He had a captivating presence, I could see most people around at the time took him as a joke.. but from what he relayed to my friend and I... it all rang very true to us.. his words certainly weren't lost on us.
He may not of reached everyone's ears but you can bet your bottom dollar he got through to more than a few, good to know his life wasn't in vain (R.I.P Brian - enjoy the transition)
