This is a 20 minutes TED talk about a neuroanatomist talking about a personal experience where her left brain was disconnected due to a stroke and she experienced only the right side. I really recommend watching the video, it is very powerful, positive and uplifting. And scientific.

Thanks for sharing with us Jill Bolte Taylor’s stroke of insight. What an extraordinary and powerful experience ... It is interesting to hear a scientist trying to express her own sudden encounter with the “other side” ... feeling of separation, feeling of oneness ... energy force, expanding consciousness ... stepping in and out of herself... I loved when she said: “... I will never be able to squeeze the enormousness of myself back inside this tiny little body ... who are we? ... We are the life force power of the Universe ... one with all that is ... These are the WE INSIDE OF ME ... Which would you chose? ...” Great video!
