No Fly Zones going up all over

Over the past week over 40 temporary "no fly zones" have been declared by the FAA. This is very highly unusual. Nobody seems to know exactly why this is happening.

So what do all of these things mean?

Whoa ... that is quite a list.

There was another related thread on no-fly zones due partly to the fort calhoun nebr nuke (and a few others) but nothing like this.

It seems like there's very tight security at those airforce bases and a lot of VIP movement going on around them.

Hmmm are we expecting some VIP's I would suspect...possible the security guys before the principal so to speak to make sure the path is clear....

Sort of reminds me of when President Obama visits countries... the security guys go first, clear the sky's and all the access points give out passes to those that can be trusted... then the fixed camera points are allowed to film the stages points of the arrival with the obligatory smiles and hand shakes before going behind closed doors to talk turkey.

Now why would any other higher authority not go about it in the same way, after there planet/comet/ dwarf ....whatever is visiting the neighbourhood after a long time since their last visit...
