Some believe it is about protecting civilians, others say it is about oil, but some are convinced intervention in Libya is all about Gaddafi's plan to introduce the gold dinar, a single African currency made from gold, a true sharing of the wealth.

"It's one of these things that you have to plan almost in secret, because as soon as you say you're going to change over from the dollar to something else, you're going to be targeted," says Ministry of Peace founder Dr James Thring. "There were two conferences on this, in 1986 and 2000, organized by Gaddafi. Everybody was interested, most countries in Africa were keen."

Hillary Clinton to Congress for Libya: Whose Side are you On?

Obama’s State Secretary Hillary Clinton, who’s now looking at running the World Bank, bluntly asked lawmakers “Whose side are you on?” for (gasp) opposing the illegal war in Libya that has nothing to do with our national interests. Basically, the insinuation is that if you (gasp) disagree with the illegal war then you’re probably on Gaddafi’s side. In other words, you get to choose between wasting more taxpayer dollars on a war which is unconstitutional and has nothing to do with our interests, or supporting a murderous dictator. And if you don’t agree with wasting more taxpayer dollars when we’re already bankrupt on an illegal war, then you agree with a murderous dictator and you’re unpatriotic.

I’m sorry, but is this the same Clinton who said in 2003, “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism?”

Concur. Had Libya and others succeeded in adopting the gold dinar, the United States dollar will lose its status as the world's reserve currency. The Federal Reserve bankrolls the Bank of Europe (Euro-dollar) and I'm sure leverage was applied to NATO to attack the "upstart" who is not under the control of the world's bankers (or Charles' bosses).
