Okay, so when I first started looking at this stuff, many years ago, I remember coming across the pictures of the alien wrapped in foil and hearing the story of Dr. Reed. All I can say about the pictures is that they gave me the creeps. I remember feeling that they could be real and that I felt his story had a ring of truth to it. The details about the dog, the hyperventilating, feeling nauseous, it all seemed like real fear reactions to something not experienced before.
I also have recently watched the 12 part youtube interview. It added more detail that I hadn't had before and I still feel like Reed was mostly genuine.
Now, on the flip side, I've read other articles about how he's a fraud and is doing this for the money.
I was just wondering what the community felt about the whole Dr. Reed story.
Please feel free to discuss.

hi Forevernyt. i have watched his story unfold as well. i think it is a fascinating account. and i have also seen the debunking efforts. i'm at crossroads with the information. i can't decide if it's real or not. the one thing i noticed that bothered me was when he unwrapped the alien; the legs looked like a blow up dolls legs or something else. i can't quite put my finger on it. the way that they curved to the side. this looked very strange to me. but, i found the rest of the being to be real enough. so, i still feel interested, but i'm not 100% on it.

Well, keep in mind that if it was real, then who's to say that's not how it's legs normally look? Being an alien it would not have to conform to our understanding of physiology. The thing that strikes me, is the images of the black triangular craft in the woods. The reason being, in Dan Burisch's account of the Project Aquarius, he described a number of craft in the hangar bay. One of which he called the licorice drop, that he had no clue who or what it belonged to. It had a strong resemblance to the alleged craft in Reed's images.
More fuel for the fire I assume.

i agree with your black triangle craft thoughts. and you're correct, alien legs' may very well be, well -- weird..... i do keep an open mind regarding all ufo and alien information. could you imagine having weird legs like that? it just creeps me out when i look at them. eek!!!!!
thanks for the thread, it is very interesting.

just as an aside, did you happen to see his vid., where he puts the artifact on and then disappears? i thought that was incredible. it did not look hoaxish to me at all.
I think if you take the time and look at all the stuff about this. And think about the gouverments and how they work around the world. It is probably a TRUE story.
But im sure we never get the real story. And i realy dont care if its true or not. Wid all the evidens out at this point in time. I think you have not done the homework, OR you have to be dumd down to not see there is somthing out there.
Well thats how i see it..:P
Love you all....

I have to believe that there are other intelligent life forms in the universe. It's too big of a place for there not to be. I just think there are too many people trying to cash in on the "ufo/alien" topic that it muddies the waters. Not to mention possible government involvement with dis info and intimidation. I was just curious on what members thought about this particular case.

Now, the details of any one story or event may be in question. The leadership will use any ruse, lie, mis-statement, what have you, in order to confuse and obsfucate.
As King Anthony so elequently stated in another thread, and I grossly paraphrase, "what more do you need? A photo, a video, a first hand sighting, an affidavite..." There is a huge mountain of evidence to support the idea of other life. We just continue to ignore it. The ancient writings, carvings, engravings, and statues are enough for me. Heck, just the writing of the Sumerians is sufficient. Does anyone think they'd go to the immense trouble of writing in stone to convey a legend or myth?

I like to keep my options open, but yes, I do believe that there is life out there and probably here. I've been fascinated with ancient visitations and truly believe that those ancient people, who created such megalithic structures, certainly had help of some kind. There's just too much in the way of legend and ancient images that show outside help.
Consider this as well. Have you ever seen the show about what would happen to the Earth should all of the humans suddenly disappear? After a million years or less, any sign of our existence is gone. The dinosaurs were alive 65 MILLION years ago. Human supposedly showed up, what about 30,000 years ago if I remember correctly? Well, there's a WHOLE lot of time in between that other civilizations could have evolved, destroyed themselves or left the planet and time would have taken care of any evidence left afterward. Please don't think I question the existence of other life, that's not the case.
I'm just wanted to know your thoughts on this specific case. I feel and I may sound like an idiot or eat these words later on, but I feel that the Reed case has some merit and some truth to it. I feel this guys speaks as genuinely as Bob Dean and Dan Burisch.
But again, it's a leap of faith, without first hand experience, one can only speculate and ponder.

Bill pretty much slam dunked on this case. The guy is a hoax. I was surprised to hear that myself after watching the video where he gave his presentation.
I'll try to find the post where Bill mentions him. I think 'Dr.' Reed even made a fake Camelot youtube page to add to his own hype.
UPDATE: Found it
--------
Reed fabricated a 'Project Camelot' YouTube account to promote his video.
I complained to YouTube immediately, and the hoax account was deleted within two days. YouTube calls it 'impersonation', and they take it very seriously.

Hi Forevernyt,
Frankly i cannot take Bill's view on that as fact. Dr. Reed is a poor man who has not financially benefit from this... on the contrary he has lost everything, even being shot in the shoulder, and today living in hiding. Many of his closest friends has "died", so you take your own opinion on this.
I am a believer.
Good bless Dr. Reed and make hims safe.
Regards
Peter

thanx strat for finding verification from bill on this issue, but at the same time we must gaurd against jumping to conclusions, what if the ptb had set up the project camelot account knowing full well that bill would come down on it straight away and denounce it, remember these guys are more sneaky than Dick Dasterdly from wacky races.

If Reed didn't set up the fake Project Camelot account but someone else did it, knowing that any association with Reed would hurt the image of Project Camelot, surely if Reed was innocent he would have made all sorts of efforts to clear his name with Bill and Kerry....
Just a simple a letter saying "please believe me, it wasn't me."
Too many trustworthy respectable people are in agreement about this guy...

Okay, how about this take on it. How many of you have actually watched the 12 pt interview done not too long ago on Youtube? If you've watched it, what is your take on his story? How did you find him while speaking? What did you think of the video footage?
Keep this in mind, let's for the sake of argument, say his story is real. If the people in charge of keeping a lid on things wanted to, they would do everything in their considerable power to discredit him and his information. Imagine for a moment, that you are Reed. You've just had an experience with something not of this world. It killed your dog and when you thought it was dead, it returned to life. Now, do you sit on this information? Do you sit on the evidence you took, the photos, video and audio? Do you share it?
Let's say you decide to share it because you feel the world has the right to know that these entities exist and you want to make sure people have a chance to protect themselves if need be. So you go public. You go public with the most outstanding, outlandish and hard to believe story ever told, but you know it to be all true. But, there are agencies and groups that do not want you taken seriously. They begin their defamation program, dropping lies, hiring debunkers, digging into your past, killing off your friends, ruining you financially. Suddenly your integrity is in question. Even though you have empirical evidence, it's questioned now. How disheartening and overpowering would that make you feel? Would you give up? Would you go into hiding to protect your family and friends that you still have?
I don't know. Despite all of the voices to the contrary, I still get a creepy feeling when looking at the creature. I still believe he was scared witless during his video taping. I think there's more to this than meets the eye. Would so many people go to so much trouble to discredit him if there was nothing there to hide?
Makes you wonder.
