A "mild tsunami" along the south west coast was probably caused by an underwater landslide, a coastal expert has said.

The unusual tidal surge struck the Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Hampshire coastline on Monday morning.

There were reports of rivers changing direction, fish leaping out of the water and even hair standing on end because of static.

Dr Mark Davidson, from the University of Plymouth, said the surge was quite a "rare" occurrence.

this is only the start of many to come, they are going to be big. get to high ground, with spring water close by, a cave would be best. where the tempature stays constant. the aproach of the brown dwarf is going to affect earth-- wake up people wake up time for action, you have about two weeks and all hell will break lose.. the flooding of the missour valley and the nuke plants going down with be the start, when that happens get your #%$ moving to higher ground..

why do you think these two weeks are worth being afraid of?

remember a slow flooding of a Nuke plant is nothing like having them run over by a 50 foot freight train...

Missouri is no worry...
