Subtle awareness.

Would you like to try an experiment and say how it felt. This is to do with meditation in action.

While you are reading this screen, become aware of your peripheral vision.
Also be aware of the muscles in your face. That is it.

Q. Has your sense of space expanded? Q. Has your face relaxed?

We are usually very intent, very focused and speedy- over occupied. This simple practise should slow things down a little, help to become aware of the surroundings. It could have other nice side effects. You will be meditating and not know you are meditating. This practice is best done with familiar activities.
