Asians - the new bogeymen

There has been much in the UK press about the courtcase concerning the Asian pedophile ring who were grooming under age females for sex. Last week in the press (The Times) said something along the lines that (police) were reluctant to print statistics about a certain race of people for fear of recriminations. Yet today one of their headlines was that in UK 25% of Asians were found to be procuring under age white girls in the UK for sex.

How damning is that? Even if this is true - and we know that statistics can prove anything that you want - what about the other 75% who are registered sex offenders?? Are they all British or otherwise what nationality are they? Does nationality have anything to do with paedophilia?

Apart from the press setting one nationality against another, are Asians the new bogeymen? We had the Russians in the Cold war, Chinese in the Vietnam war, Muslims in the 9/11 debacle.... and now Asians ...

I am not Asian btw - I am a single white parent who was born in UK - and wondering when I will be targeted as the next BOGEYMAN - A THREAT TO MANKIND.... Grrrrrrrrr

IMO this is scapegoating the Asians. We've known that the Asians have been at sex and human tafficking for a long time; but did people know that this was happening in the UK and THE US as well? The more I find out, the more shocked I am because I thought these countries were once the frontrunners of all that was good and decent in the world....
As wicked as all of this is, it's not exclusive to the Asians....
