The world's largest army...

America 's hunters!

A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:

There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin alone .

Allow me to restate that number..

Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the eighth (8th) largest army in the world..

More men under arms than in Iran. More than in
France and Germany combined.

These men deployed to the woods of a single American state to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan's 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and don't forget the the 1,169,667 in Texas, so it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those five states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. And there are other states who also have large numbers of hunters that are not even listed here !

The point?

America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower. [If they use the 2nd Amendment as it's intended WE WOULD ALSO BE SAFE FROM THE DOMESTIC TYRANNY WE ARE NOW IN. WE have a huge Foreign invasion (which is an act of war) on our southern borders, so the 2nd Amendment is NOT being used as intended. But now you can see why gun control is on the front burner in DC = DC FEARS THE HUNTERS AND ALL THOSE WITH GUNS, WHICH IS WHY THEY WANT TO STEAL ALL GUNS AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE SO THEY CAN FORCED THEIR EVIL ON EVERYONE WITHOUT ANY RESISTANCE. DC fears resistance; they like it when everyone just falls into place and obeys willingly. They like robotic obedient Sheeple.]

Hunting -- it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national and domestic security.

*************************************************

That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.

Food for thought the next time gun control is considered. Gun controls of any kind is Treason against the Constitution and the Founders and this land.

If only those hunters would hunt the tyrants and their tools.
But they shoot back.

Just think about what effect all those hunters have on nature. It's not a nice one.

Hi Amity,

Here in the States and especially the Midwest the deer population is out of control. All the natural predators are gone. Everyday I see two or three dead deer on the highway. For every dead deer you see there are a couple dozen more. And this is only on a stretch of highway about 15 miles long. With each dead deer you have a vehicle that is damaged or totaled and generally someone injured.

Without these hunters thinning the huge herds we would have many more wrecks and many acres of corn eaten and damaged. I lost 10 acres of heirloom organic corn to deer last year.

There are so many they compete for food and die of disease and starvation through the long harsh winters.

ALL of the hunters I personally know hunt responsibly and humanely. ALL of the hunters I know eat the venison they harvest each year. Others donate their venison to homeless shelters and food banks. ALL the hunters I personally know are hard working decent men and women. They abide by all laws and I am proud to call them my friends, neighbors and family

So yes the hunters do have an effect on nature and it is a very positive one.

Calz I beseech you and ALL Americans to NEVER EVER give up your rights to hold guns. We in Britain don't have any rights except if you are accepted as a member of a gun club. Only rifles are allowed. We are much easier to control by the PTB.

With over populated species like deer we might not being doing much damage.. I do not stand in judgement of people hunting to feed themselves.

But maybe what Amity was referring to was trophy hunting, which is harmful to nature, the fact that the Lion, one of the most beautiful and unique creatures on this earth, is soon to be added to the endangered species list is sad... The thinning of the bloodline's by trophy hunting is why the predator species of animals are not present in certain area's. And it goes for grazing animals as well, if you go out and shoot the biggest baddest Big horn sheep every year and 100,000 people do the same, all those years of wisdom and genetics are getting lost and therefor the following generations genes will be not as resourceful.

Here in my area for instance they shoot mountain lion's, not hunters the state shoot's them cuz there a threat... When we have intruded upon so much space they have no where else to go.

A Question I have had which has changed the way I eat is

If we kill other species to consume them to gain nutrition regardless of there pain and loss of life, even though we have other options of consuming nutrition( things that grow on plants) then by the law of attraction we will attract the same treatment from beings that look at us like meat?

Plants and fruits and grains and vegetables are alive and aware and feeling too until we harvest and eat them.

In my opinion..... Plants do not feel pain like animals or humans and therefore plants do not have a reincarnated soul, they are part of earth like rocks and water, a resource for the rest of the planet to maintain a balance of harmony..

I come from a family of gun owners and hunters so I am not trashing gun ownership and I did thank Calz for his post because it is true that the american public is the largest group of armed civilians on the planet and this is why they will "try" to take america first.

Not much damage with over population of deer?? Ask the farmers whose crops are ruined, what about the thousands of vehicles totaled or damaged, urban areas devastated by over browsing, lyme diseases, wasting disease, sick and tortured deer dying slowly because they are starving to death.

The “trophy hunting” as you call it serves a purpose too. Obviously you know nothing of breeding a strong herd and building on strong bloodlines. The older males HAVE TO be removed because after a while they are mating with their daughters and grand daughters and so on. Ever heard the jokes about inbreeding??? Think it all the way through.

Like it or not we humans IN PART are here as Stewards of this earth and sometimes that includes doing things that some view as distasteful (no pun intended)

Back to topic . . . . . . when the multiple outhouses hit the 300 mile an hour winds. The hunters of the world who are armed and sensible are the ones who are going to be protecting everybody’s hind ends. Let’s see how you feel about them then. These are regular people not some sort of serial killers out stalking Bambi or your babies.

Our gun ownership is one of the reasons I do not understand some of those same Americans being so staunchly pro war, in the past, at least. There is no reason to fight them 'over there' because they will not be coming here. Even China, if it became aggressive, would know better than to try and land an army on our shores. Helicopters dropping soldiers off would have nobody to pick up unless body retrieval was part of the plan.

There is no doubt we pay some price in homocides by our gun ownership but those numbers pale in comparison to the number of deaths by iatrogenic ((medically caused) causes and the diet inflicted death we cause by our own hands and forks. The founding fathers of America knew that an armed populace was a free populace, if they want to be. We, the people, outnumber our own standing Army and the uniformed officers combined. If they woke up and stood with their brothers and sisters instead of their parasitic payrollers the current nightmare could be over in a week. Without a shot fired either. The only war that would ever need to happen is if our uniformed brothers and sisters choose to stand with the problem rather than their countrymen.

I believe if they ( people in uniforms) saw us showing our backbones, and arms, they would have an epiphany. Self serving, or not,it would create the shift we need to begin the removal of the usurious parasites in our financial system and all who benefit from profit from money rather than producing something of intrinsic worth.

Calz, thank you for opening up this vista of self empowering information.

What I'm wondering is which side will active duty soldiers be on? It'll be a dark time in American history if they just blindly follow orders to kill their own brothers and sisters on the orders of the outlaws in DC.

This does seem to be what we do best. Who has a good recipe they'd like to pass along?

Yes, that would be most unfortunate. The worlds largest army could be very persuasive if it mobilized. It would have to be organic, no leaders. Just millions of pissed off and armed people letting anyone in their way know that enough is enough. Whether this ever happens, or has to happen, ( hopefully not ) is one of the primary questions of today regarding the PTB and being rid of them.

I prefer consciousness rising to bodies dropping. The worlds largest army has prevented any real use of mobilized force against large groups of citizens so far.

Aranuk's plea is a must.

It's happened in the past with WWI veterans.

U.S. Army intervention.
The marchers remained at their campsite waiting for President Hoover to act. On July 28, 1932, Attorney General William D. Mitchell ordered the police to remove the Bonus Army veterans from their camp. When the veterans moved back into it, they rushed two policeman trapped on the second floor of a building. The cornered police drew their revolvers and shot two veterans, William Hushka and Eric Carlson, who died later.[8] When told of this, President Hoover ordered the army to evict the Bonus Army from Washington.

At 4:45 p.m., commanded by Gen. Douglas MacArthur, the 12th Infantry Regiment, Fort Howard, Maryland, and the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, supported by six battle tanks commanded by Maj. George S. Patton, formed in Pennsylvania Avenue while thousands of civil service employees left work to line the street and watch. The Bonus Marchers, believing the troops were marching in their honor, cheered the troops until Patton ordered the cavalry to charge them—an action which prompted the spectators to yell, "Shame! Shame!"

Shacks that members of the Bonus Army erected on the Anacostia Flats burning after the confrontation with the military. After the cavalry charged, the infantry, with fixed bayonets and adamsite gas, an arsenical vomiting agent, entered the camps, evicting veterans, families, and camp followers. The veterans fled across the Anacostia River to their largest camp and President Hoover ordered the assault stopped. However Gen. MacArthur, feeling the Bonus March was a Communist attempt to overthrow the U.S. government, ignored the President and ordered a new attack. Fifty-five veterans were injured and 135 arrested.[8] A veteran's wife miscarried. When 12-week-old Bernard Myers died in the hospital after being caught in the tear gas attack, a government investigation reported he died of enteritis, while a hospital spokesman said the tear gas "didn't do it any good."[9]

During the military operation, Major Dwight D. Eisenhower, later President of the United States, served as one of MacArthur's junior aides.[10] Believing it wrong for the Army's highest-ranking officer to lead an action against fellow American war veterans, he strongly advised MacArthur against taking any public role: "I told that dumb son-of-a-bitch not to go down there," he said later. "I told him it was no place for the Chief of Staff."[11] Despite his misgivings, Eisenhower later wrote the Army's official incident report which endorsed MacArthur's conduct.[12]
MacArthur and Patton. Who would have figured?

I agree with you all, since I'm a veteran who remembers the consequences of disobeying any order, lawful or not. It's best if no one joins. IMO that's the best way to protect freedom by joining a militia.

I'll hold on to my two AK's, two shotguns, and three pistols for now. Everyone in Az carries a pistol, no license necessary for concealed carry in az. Sounds crazy huh, but no the crime rates have actually dropped since. Hell, me and like five of my friends all shot the hell out of a massive tree trunk n July4th, everyone in my neighborhood was firing rounds (happens every year here, they come on the news and remind poeple not to shoot in the air ha). It was splendidly American, we should've gotten loans while we were at it :)

Yep. I'm sure that's a wild card we have in our hand that tptw don't like, and I'm not about to forfeit my little wild card friends for sure. While the 2nd ammendment is still certainly a pesky annoyance to them, our rising consciousness must have alarm bells going off far and wide. I don't envy their position. Besides coming clean and saying something like "sorry guys, we were just kidding", the choices seem to be a rock on one side, or a hard place on the other.

Time to sing the aweful options song...

Cheers,
Fred

Wow! Or your deer reproduce like rats, or you have lots of bad hunters, otherwise, that wouldn´t last one single critter for you to hunt by now, if this number is correct. ;)
