Unfortunately, these political identities have no real interest in 'The Big Picture', only the short-term economic
gains to be made from courting monolithic economic giants-they'll smile and pretend to be reasonable, discuss 'Organic farming' with
the 'tree hugger types'-then carry on with their crappy agenda...we The People really need to engage more vigorously
with the body politic and exert our will. I despair really...but these organic farmers were cool eh?

The only real choice here is for those that have been forced by the gubmint to jump through all the hoops to gain recognised 'Organic' status collectively sue anyone who then violates their farms via cross contamination from GM substances. This will no doubt cost the one GM farmer needed to be made an example of but should drive the message home for anyone else contemplating going down that path.
To support them in the fight the rest of us need to push hard for correct labeling of packaging then purchase accordingly.
Did the light go on for anyone when he admitted he had no idea of the majority view of his electrorate? He can safely say admit to that because so few in Australia know how to inform their elected representatives of their will. If you think voting any of them in based on policy put forward is adequate you would be seriously mistaken. If you really want to make a difference then research how to write a 'my will' letter.
