"It seems that we were on the very brink of complete melt-down in 2008. So close, in fact, that administration officials now claim the President's policies are responsible for avoiding the very scenario that was completely denied as a possibility three years ago:

"The American economy was falling off the cliff in the fall of '08 and the first months of this administratio. And he put in place the most creative, the most forceful set of economy measure we have ever done as a country. And because of that, we've preented a second Great Depression and the economy has now been growing for more than a year and a half." -Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, Meet the Press, July 10, 2011

At the same time Mr. Geithner explains to us how saddling us with trillions more in debt and expanding government intervention into every aspect of our lives has avoided depression, he warns that things are going to remain tough for the average American. His words are eerily reminiscent of Gerald Celente's 2009 forecast:

"I think it's going to take a long time still. This is a very tough economy. And I think for a lot of people it's going to be - it's going to feel very hard, harder than anything they've experienced in their lifetime now, for some time to come."

If you've haven't guessed, it is very likely that the reason Americans are going to experience times tougher than anything they have experienced in their lifetimes is because our nation is fully engrossed in the next Great Depression."

1st it was Bailout the Banks QE1 & QE2...

Then after the biggest Bank Robbery ever committed in history...

The Govt. wants MORE..!

Then the CRIMINAL Geithner has the cheek to say now that we have taken all your $Money, we want the American People to make a "SACRIFICE" for their Country because their is NO MONEY LEFT in Social Security Kitty for the Baby-Boomers!

...and the FIAT Money Machine is grinding to a halt!

Ya, Just Can't make this Stuff Up!

Yet you still can't drag the majority away from the TV?

The US Economy has been systematically imploded by design for years, yet the TV is still on...

I guess the American people will finally get the message when 'Martial Law' is declared and the Swat Teams are breaking down their doors to take the Targeted off to the FEMA camps?

Does Timmy start shape shifting at 1:26?

Anyway, Glass Steagall is gaining momentum. Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) Thursday introduced a bill that would reinstate the Banking Act of 1933, better known as the Glass-Steagall Act, in order to separate investment banking from commercial banking. This, in addition to HR 1489 - Return To Prudent Banking introduced by Marcy Kaptur's with, now, 20 co-signers.

If Glass Steagall passes, it will change the economic landscape around the globe, not just in the USA.

Call your rep today! Let's jail the bloodsuckers!

I hope they do have it harder, then they will be reluctant to let it happen again.
Too many have put their obligations off for another day and allowed others to do the same.

And this is the reason why Timmy and others are out there 1-2 punching anything and anyone who might possibly derail their plans to derail.

Honestly, Geitner is a zionist who I wouldn't believe even for a second.
You're right, jackovesk. He's a frigging criminal. And when the tide turns (AND IT WILL), criminal bozos like him will get their prison terms. But I think that in order to get the couch potatoes away their tv sets, they have to lose something valuable for awhile....

When I no longer have to go to work, life is going to get a lot better for me. Whether the economy collapses or gets a restart with a new set of rules, I'm totally happy with the outcome. I may even get a chance to play some sort of peaceful non-combatant character who stops violent rioters and shows them how to garden instead.

I'd like to see all TPTB stripped of all their wealth and power and serve the life of every person they had a hand in destroying....like farming would be good for them to do. It would be honest and demanding work and be retribution for all those they've helped starve to death.....

Geitner "I don't pay income taxes" came from the NY Federal Reserve. Talk about putting the foxes in charge of the hen houses. The man has no credibility. Little wonder he was laughed at by the Chinese after he told them that the dollar was sound.

Geithner.

This is his own future he's projecting out there for others. There is simply no where to hide for them not us. When they speak of these disasters ~ most Americans have already felt and dealt with these since at least 2008 ~ they seem to be talking to each other about the impending doom of being held accountable for their own actions. It is their system that is down and not ours.

A very sad day for them, indeed. We reap what we sow. So be it... Let the rest of us go back to Kindergarten 101 ~ be kind to one another for a nice change. Learn to share and play nice in the sandbox with each other. No Monopoly. No pain. No debt. No Usury. No Financial mischief. No slavery. No chains. Freedom to be. Individual Sovereignty. Collective Sovereignty. And so it is...and will ever be. Amen. xoxoxox

He also worked for goldman sachs, the real power in the treasury.
