Before leaving town for 10 days last week, the House of Representatives found time to pass an amendment designed to help a single drug company. And, as Nancy Cordes reports, this type of special fix is par for the course in Congress.

What do you expect?
This is what happens when the ''nation'' doesn't pay its debts, it becomes a vehicle for its creditors.

What John Perkins wrote in Confessions of an Economic Hitman also applies to the United States. The former American corporations have become multi-national and have been raping their parent nation. It's all about money and control.

well the US is for the big corporations and not for its people since a long time now, so no surprises here. the people are just there to slave for these companies and give their lives if that is what these companies need to make an extra profit....

Gold is money, compare the gold price of an ounce between now and just a year ago, and then two years ago, and it'll probably rise even further in the next 6 months as the people no longer trust the dollar and want something really easy to liquidate when needed...only gold is like that in these times.

The patent had run out and the drug company keeps congress whoring themselves out. the drug cant go generic people have to pay top dollar. The congress does not care what the people want and there quite loud about it.
