It is voluntary! All cops must go trough this test. Itīs part of the tasing training program. He isnīt being help against his will. Heīs being held, so he doesnīt get hurt if he falls. ;)

I guess that is good that they experience what they will be dishing to the public ... but still wow.

Many folk have died from that (at least with multiple shocks).

Well if that is the case ... (bearing in mind, at least in the usa, that cops at not hired above a certain iq level ...) then this is indeed funny.

Since they are allegedly going to be enforcing "pre-crime" or "thought-crime" then it is fitting they receive "pre-punishment"???

Aw man - the guy in Phimonic's video who shot himself said he was the only one professional enough to use the glock!?!?!?
And then he asked others if they were OK.

What's the IQ requirement maximum for the police force these days? 12? 6?

Nothing like a good laugh to clear the cobwebs - and I have no problem laughing at people doing stoopid crap to themselves if it's funny enough.

I've been electrocuted hundreds of times. But then again, Uranus, the Ruler of Electricity, is the ruler of my chart.

If they hit me with one, I'd it is not beyond the realm of possibility that I'd just pull the prongs out and keep going. One day I was talking with someone, I was electrocuted with a 275VAC-DC combination and I just Kept talking and working.

I've been hit with 15,000 volts from a power supply which was capable of keeping up a continual arc. We smell like overcooked pork, by the way.....mmm..bacon.

It is very unhealthy, though.

Just after electrocution, your white blood cell count drops to basically---zero. It is an electric universe, you body works on electrochemical function. Your body's blood pH, which is equivalent to electrical charge levels associated with the idea of molecular charge transfer-capacity..is a near perfect balance of '7.4' (I was always told it was 7.0?) on the pH scale. This equates to perfect neutrality. On the pH scale 14.0 being a powerful caustic, like Lye, or Sodium Hydroxide, and 1 being a high concentration of nitric acid or similar. IMO, caustics are worse than acids. When playing with caustics, you might want to keep some vinegar around to neutralize it, in case of a burn.

So you can see that when you are hit by a taser, it can send the body into a form of chemical shock. This is part of why a given person might die when hit by a taser.

What you saw in the video was a whole bunch of cops killing their white blood cell counts. That is the exhaustion part of being tasered. It is not simply adrenaline or the like.

To give you an idea, if your pH of your blood shifted by about 0.2 on the pH scale, you'd very likely be dead.
