I think you are being a little unfair to Jay Weidner. The documentary may be close to the truth
but masked as a joke, so that its ideas are dismissed. It's hard to know what the motives of the
people who made the film were, and who its backers actually were.

Jay's message is essentially positive. He continually stresses that we are spiritual beings with infinite potential
and that the most important thing we can do at this time is to devote as much time to our spiritual practice.

I may have found the youtube video Weidner referred to that someone made at a conference in England where Richard Hoagland talked about Saturn's rings and showed some amazing slides which show what looks like huge machinery on one of the rings.
