Kay Cordell Whitaker, known for her groundbreaking book "The Reluctant Shaman" and her other works with Katasee, a form of Peruvian Shamanism, and also her 'World in Balance' institute, has completed a VERY interesting bone throwing series.
This technique involves blowing a question onto a variety of animal bones, throwing them, and then the shaman interpreting the 'answer' the spirits are giving to the question asked.
These questions have been asked in a sequence, each throw and interpretation lasting about 20-30 minutes.
