as some people here on Avalon may know i have from time to time some very vivid lucid dreams.
as i have mentioned before this state is enhanced when i am under the weather.
for the last week i have had flu like symptoms.of which are only stating to lighten up.
now the last vivid dream was two nights ago.
the first part i think i can explain .
the second part is(was very scary).
but it stayed with me.

ok i will try to explain it to the best of my ability.

i am walking down a path next to a shallow river.
their are other people walking down the same way.
as we walk we start to float, some people float standing up,i cross my legs and float in the same direction.
i start to veer off the path over the water,to the other side of the bank,i realise i have little control over my steering and control.whilst everyone else does.

next i am in a house where i am about to babysit for a two week baby, while the mother goes out.
i start to talk to the baby .
and in surprise the baby starts to talk back to me in a very adult and intellectual manner.i am gobsmacked and in awe.
we discuss many things(of which i have forgot)
but what i remember was he was saying about re incarnation.
he said no matter how hard and how difficult life may seem ,it is not worth ending your life prematurely,as it is the difficulties and hurdles in life that make it your journey.
it is all for a purpose for the next stage.

now three women appear at the window demanding that have i fed the baby.
i answered i will ask him if he is hungry or thirsty.
the baby replies no.
and i realise that the 3 people cannot see or perceive the baby as i do.
they see him as a baby.

now this is what scared me.
i heard screaming from upstairs of children, and a stamping of feet (the stamping in the dream meant to me a bad entity).
then their was slamming.
so i ran up the stairs and came to a door.
i opened the door and everything went silent.
i could sense something bad in the hallway beyond.
in my hand i had a table leg,i banged it on the doorframe and threw it into the hallway beyond.before running back down stairs in fear.

this is where i woke up in sweat and scared and a bit dis oriented .
but for a minute or so i felt as if something was in the bedroom for a minute or so.
shaken i got up and went downstairs, and asked my partner if she was coming to bed(he says sheepishy)

well thats it .
does anyone know how to interpret this dream .
thanks.

Hello Manny, I hesitate to try to interperate dreams lately. I will give it a shot. You know me,,, I come from a different angle. :)

I believe that many dreams are memories of the astral. I also believe that many dreams are Dream-State Lessons, either coming from higher aspects of self, or Astral beings acting in coordination with higher self.

The first thing that jumps out at me is when you, and the 'others' (always others) began floating. They were floating standing up, and you decided to cross your legs and float 'indian style'. AMAZING!! I have that memory too!.. The lack of direct control over your movement tells me that 1) you are awake and aware (LD) 2) Your dream-state environment was not only yours! ;) 3) you have come pretty far (astral training) to be aware that you are NOT in control of flight. (meaning that you have much better control, ususally,,, even though you may not remember).

Dream-State Lessons will always have you observing your actions in relation to other 'peoples' actions. Somewhere in this dream there was a teacher/facilitator,,, usually stays out of sight.

The next part; Where you come accross a young person (two week old baby) who seemed to be very adult and intellectual in nature. Didn't you come accross such a being, right here in our forum. Did you not give your heart and soul into trying to help this young person? :) Are you not a healer? ;) I believe that your essence is taking this experiences into the Astral, too learn from it at a soul level. Thus, the explanation about reincarnation and life journeys. Astral 'teachers' will take many different forms. You are an amazing person.

In the Cherokee tradition,,, 3 Cherokee elders, Women, are often arbiters of astral experiences and messengers to those who seek out higher realms of wisdom. I can't help but think about the 3 women who approached you in your dream. "have you fed the baby?"!!! Perfect! That message is for YOU to interperate.

The final part of your dream, I am not sure about. I will give you my opinion, based on dreaming experiences and astral experiences that I have had.

There is a way for outside influence to monitor and adjust our dream environment. The mechanics are the same,,, mastery of the Astral. There is only ONE dream,,, although we think it is ours, when we are there!!! Intense fear is a tool used to infiltrate and take control over the dreaming cycle. Negative astral dreaming entities have mastered the art of inserting fear into the dreamscape, in an attempt to ruin any chance of us retaining the memory of the 'dream'. They are aware of who is capable of such 'training' and they task themselves with stamping out any dreaming activity that will serve to continue us on our way to our AWAKENING. Fear is a portal! It keeps us insisting that OBEs are not real, and that DREAMS don't mean anything. Look,,,, WE SLEEP THAT WE MAY DREAM,,,, WE DREAM THAT WE MAY WAKE.

I hope that I am not too far off, Manny. You are an amazing person. (I feel like Charles Xavier, giving a pep talk,,,, lol)

when I interpret dreams I always use the symbolisms...
and every item of the dream is you.

The upstairs part is you: attics represent your head, thinking, mind stuff, just as basements are about sexuality.
Windows are the eyes.

back to the "upstairs" in your dream:
There is fear there, because strangers have gotten in.
In other words you carry ideas that are not your own.
Some of them cause you to feel fear...
I would think it has to do with the fear mongering that's going on here at Avalon.

The coherent baby is your newborn self
although quite young, yet it can talk perfectly well.
That is because you not only have past life memories but also have connected a lot of dots lately
giving you a growth spurt.

The mother has gone out...means less dependency... your soul is connecting directly to your newborn self.

I'm doing this backwards...
the floating on the river where you feel you lack control, while others are in control...

I think the river is the Avalon forum, where there are people on different levels but going along the same path...floating means feet not on the ground...hence not quite real.

I'm not quite sure who the three women represent...definitely some female aspect inside yourself, could be to do with early childhood relations, mother, aunt, sister, voices who urge, interfere or otherwise pressurize...
the sooner you let go of those personas the better.
They are guilt trippers.
Glad the baby could speak up for itself, a very good sign, and to me the cental message of your dream. :)

I found the part with talking to the baby fascinating. My thoughts on re incarnation. "Yes we do re incarnate. I know many people that use the excuse that because they re incarnate... they don't have to learn too many lessons or clear karma in this lifetime... because they can just do it in the next lifetime." screw that I say... You're in this lifetime now. make the most of it. don't be lazy and take some responsibility.

thanks guys for your input.
Jake your not far off bullseye.
i connected the dots with the recent activity here on Avalon.
just needed confirmation.
again with the last part, even after i woke up i still felt a presence that i was scared of.
so yes again you may be right.
there was lots more to the dream ,but it,s all fragmented and nonsensical.
it,s the important parts that are remembered.

now lets say someone or something was trying to give me a message from my dream.
and towards the end of the dream something did not want me to receive that message.
hence turn it into a nightmare...that will wake you up suddenly...result ...you forget the dream(message).
just a idea?

Manny could I suggest you use the fragments of your dream as a focus for a deep meditation... this way when the dream replays it will be in a different plane to that of a sleeping dream and those entities you speak of will have no way of interrupting the message. Plus as it is your spiritual domain you are supreme and can deal with any evil entity in a manner to which they have no defence, another words give them due warning not to inter-fear again..

Hope this makes sense and is of help.

ok something i did not mention because i thought it irrelevant but not has left me.
there was a dog throughout the dream ,a long thin black and white dog.
i never saw its face.
although it had no hands,it was capable of pulling ropes ect to help me.
it was there in all scenarios but always dashing in and out?

Could the dog be a guide Manny? - 'nudging' you in the right direction, being there only when you need it.

In your dream, I get the feeling the baby is you, that you are stronger than you think, umm, maybe ditch some old baggage/beliefs/experiences to be as innocent again.

Can I ask, is this a dream you've had before? I ask because it sounds powerful - I've had a recurring dream on and off since I was a kid and still haven't figured it out, extrmely strange, not as scary as yours though!

I'm waffling, good luck with it Manny, I'm sure there's something valuable in it for you.

Peace

Pickle

Edit: I ask "Could the dog be a guide" because I think if you ask you'll get an answer.

ok i think i have come to a conclusion.
the part about reincarnation and not giving up whatever life offers you.
was to do with the recent events on Avalon.
the floating flying meant that the spiritual path is taken but their are doubts that may sway from time to time.
the message the baby gave was(never give up or you will have to start again,no matter how hard it gets.)
meaning to give up on your journey,is ill advised.
the dog that jumped in and out of the picture was a guide, helping with dreamstate in process.
the entity upstairs was the fear repressing me.
for everyone the fear represses the spiritual growth.
as with the SPIRITUAL WARRIOR ,to face fear ,you will overcome it.

only in the dream i ran from it.

oh well you win some and lose some;)

pickle i was writing this as you post;)ed

well,
my dreams, the ones i can remember anyway, always seem to be of the super special effect hollywood blockbuster type, you know, and the irony is that they contain effects that you wouldnt see in a hollywood blockbuster, cherish everyone you are shown, love your dreams as they love you, it may be several layers under the surface, but they always are telling you something, sometimes years in advance.
