The U.S., along with more than 30 other nations, has decided to recognize Libya's rebels as the legitimate government of the country. The Libyan Contact Group, convening in Turkey, has also urged Colonel Gaddafi to give up power. Dr. Franklin Lamb - a director of an organisation called Americans Concerned for Middle East Peace - says it's just another dangerous case of the U.S. misjudging an ally.

well little difference for the Libyan people as i cannot see who is really representing them.

I work in finance and a while ago a friend told me to try applying to this "new bank" opening here, i don't believe in working for banks but go to see what its all about as they didn't even say who they are.

once there and i ask around i am told they are a new Libyan bank that has already opened a few branches around here and is now hiring people.
Wonder where they got the money from and if its the $280 billion USD that was frozen a while ago with the excuse that it belongs to Gadafi, but should be for the Libyan people...where is the referendum that shows this is what the Libyan people want to do with it??
can't believe that assault on people's intelligence the mainstream media keeps doing!
