What was interesting was that they cut the feed imediately. It just shows that the BBC always wants to control what goes out to the masses.

The hearing has resumed. But theyve cleared out the audience. It looks like theres only close friends/advisors left in the front row.

Great security.... if you watch the committee members and you can see the ones that are asleep.
And now the news coverage will be all about a plate of cream instead of the real issues..... well done Mr Protester ... oh how clever you are ...
Interesting it took 2 women to defend Murdoch.....

that was a close shave!
I think you just inspired tomorrows headlines :-)
You would think the very first rule of being a camera-man/video journalist is to keep the camera on the action. Why would anyone take the camera OFF of a "criminal" while he is committing the crime. In a sane world, one might even be crazy enough to think that video evidence is a good thing to have.

Yes Muzz it all sounds like a put up job. The attacker was probably paid by Murdoch in order for the public to be sent out and get what he wanted a private hearing or something of that sort.

Yeah Im with you on that one Stan. Sky News just called the guy who did it a "prankster" which I thought was odd. Wonder who he was.

And Murdoch's wife leapt to her husband's defence.

It could have been staged to fool the public into showing some kind of sympathy for Murdoch. That seemed to be the angle of their defence today. How the hell could the supposed prankster get that close to him in the first place. The bbc were probably in on it, hence the reason they did't film him. I seen some footage of the guy on the news earlier, he had shaving foam all over his face. Couldn't see any facial features.

Whoever he was it was freakin' awesome. Like we would have gotten some real headlines anyways. It's a rarity that I get a good laugh out of the news.

It isn't a rock concert, so who allowed this plain dude from the street into the hearing in the first place? And werent they asking about the pay off to the cops when it happened?
Interesing indeed...

WHO ATTACKED MURDOCH??????
The person who did THE DEED..........refused to speak with the reporter as he informed the reporter that he was now part of a police inquiry. Strange that the person in question would not take the opportunity to speak with a reporter before he was charged.

whoever that person is, to get into something like that he would have to be someone... If anyone who has time to look further into this (which I don't as I am at work shhhhh....) can give more info, it would be much appreciated.
