Rupert Murdoch has said he was unaware of some of the serious allegations against the News of the World when questioned by Labour MP Tom Watson.

Mr Murdoch paused extensively, and his son James made several attempts to intervene.

Mr Watson responded by saying "Your father is responsible for corporate governance and serious wrongdoing has been brought about in the company"

Some interesting pieces of information from the enquiry were that whenever Murdoch went to visit the PM he always entered through the back door.He said that this was requested by the PM's office.Interesting.

Also Murdoch stated that he (his UK media assets) always favored or lent towards either one main political party or the other. Why ? Could this be why the PM insisted on Murdoch entering via the back door ? Is this totally unbalanced and biased media philosophy of favoring one side over the other a fit and proper way of presenting news etc ?

You don't have to watch FOX news for very long to see how 'unbalanced and unfair' it is.

Should Murdoch/News Corp be able to influence the general public in such a biased manner ? When are they going to start asking this question ?
